“What happened?!” Mingyu asked concerned as both Jeonghan and Soo Min walked into the apartment, soaking wet from the rain that wouldn’t let up. They finally made the decision to just come back to Jeonghan’s shared apartment since it was closer.

“What does it look like?” Jeonghan chuckled. “We got rained on.”

“You mean it’s raining?” He tilted his head in confusion.

“You didn’t notice til now?” Won Woo nudged him. “I could hear it even through the TV sounds.”

“Could you get us some towels, please?” Jeonghan asked as he stood at the doorway with Soo Min. They didn’t want to get water everywhere from their dripping clothes. Mingyu hurried off to fetch a few towels as Won Woo got up and walked over to them, looking curious.

“You’re wearing matching clothes?” He pointed out.

“Yeah, we went on a date.” Jeonghan smiled.

“Really?!” Won Woo’s eyes went wide.

“Is it that shocking?” Soo Min giggled. “Shocking? Zap!”

“Here are the towels!” MIngyu returned, tossing Jeonghan his towel that hit him in the face as he carefully came up and wrapped Soo Min’s towel around her delicately.

“Yah…” Jeonghan held back a laugh.

“You both need a change of clothes, quick!” Mingyu ignored him.

“Where’s Chansey?” Soo Min asked curiously looking around the apartment.

“He left to the store shortly before you two arrived.” Won Woo explained as Mingyu pulled her towards their shared room. “What are you doing?!” He exclaimed.

“Getting her a change of clothes!” Mingyu replied as they entered the room. Jeonghan had left to his room to get changed, leaving Won Woo in the living room alone. He was frowning when Mingyu shut the door. He’s not going to watch her change, is he?!

He came out a minute later, shutting the door behind himself.

“Aren’t your clothes going to be a little too big on her?” Won Woo asked his tall friend.

“Maybe.” Mingyu grinned. “It’ll be adorable!”

“Yah!” Won Woo hit him on the arm, looking jealous once again.

“Chill out,” Mingyu chuckled, “she’s only borrowing my clothes once.”

Jeonghan came out of his room once he was done changing, pulling his hair tie out and let his long shoulder length hair down, running his hands through it a couple of times. At that moment, Soo Min came out of Won Woo and Mingyu’s shared room wearing one of Mingyu’s winter hoodies, since she was complaining about it being so cold, and a pair of his gym shorts. The hoodie was definitely too big for her but like he mentioned, it was adorable.

“Awww.” Jeonghan smiled from his spot over at her, adoring her in her change of clothes.

“Whoa!” She stepped back when she saw him and his hair…

“What?” He asked.

“You never seen him with his hair down, huh?” MIngyu chuckled, he could see the blush on her cheeks as she was hiding them with the oversized sleeves of his hoodie.

“Do you like it?” Jeonghan asked curiously.

“It’s… interesting to look at.” She slightly nodded, looking away embarrassed. Her former crush had long hair, so of course she liked it.

“They’re so cute…” Mingyu cooed quietly as they watched the two interacting.

“Yeah, yeah… whatever.” Won Woo rolled his eyes.

“So jealous.” Mingyu chuckled. “You’re still cute, too.” He patted his friend on the head.

“Yah!” He blushed, nudging him away.

“She’s not answering any of my texts!” Bo-Young worried as she and Jisoo were still in the bookstore.

“Could it be that you took it when you took her clothes earlier?” Jisoo pointed at the large bag that basically had everyone’s clothes from earlier.

“Eh?!” She reached in for the pair of capris her friend was wearing and indeed found the girl’s phone in the back pocket. “I’m such an idiot!” She frowned.

“It’s fine.” Jisoo chuckled. “I’ll try getting a hold of Jeongha-” He was saying until Bo-Young held up Jeonghan’s phone too. “Those idiots.” He sighed. Why wouldn’t Jeonghan think to take his phone?!

“Ae-Cha and Jihoon’s too!” Bo-Young held up a total of four handphones now.

“I can’t believe they didn’t notice.” Jisoo shook his head.

“Maybe they were just excited…” Bo-Young tried to keep positive. “But I should have made sure they took their phones with them!”

“I’m sure they’re okay.”

“It’s still raining a lot out there… I hope they didn’t get wet or anything…”

Just then, Jisoo’s phone buzzed with a text. It was from Seungkwan.

Seungkwan: Yo~! Hyung! I ran into Jihoon and his date Ae-Cha. They wanted me to let you know they’re okay and took shelter in one of the nearby cake shops. They didn’t notice they forgot their phones with their clothes until they tried contacting you.

“See.” Jisoo smiled, handing over his phone for Bo-Young to read the text.

“That’s a relief… but what about the other two?”

“I’ll text his roommates.” Jisoo took his phone back and composed a text to Junhui.

Jisoo: Junhui, did Jeonghan and Soo Min come to your apartment yet?

Junhui: I’m actually stranded at the store right now, sorry! Ask the other two!

Jisoo: Mingyu, did Jeonghan and Soo Min come to your apartment yet?

Mingyu: Yes~! They did just a short while ago! They’re okay.

“They’re fine. They’re at Jeonghan’s apartment now.” Jisoo handed his phone over to her once again.

“Thank goodness!” She leaned against the bookshelf relieved once again. “I promise I won’t spring this on everyone again! I obviously didn’t think this all the way through!”

“That’s okay.” Jisoo chuckled. “It’s good that you did this, Bo-Young. I’m sure it helped Soo Min a lot, so don’t beat yourself up about it, okay?”

“Really?”

“Really!” He smiled. “You obviously know about the things she’s going through… she needs Jeonghan right now. You did a good thing.”

“Thanks… when you say it like that, it does make me feel better.” She smiled at him happily.

“Good.” He continued to smile at her.

“What?” She asked, getting nervous as his long stare.

“Nothing… it’s just… you’re so cute when you’re worried.”

She gave a nervous laughed, looking down to hide her blush.

Ae-Cha giggled as Seungkwan had said something funny. Jihoon sat there… a slight irritated look on his face as his younger friend was keeping his date more entertained than him!

“I thought you were leaving?” Jihoon nudged Seungkwan as Ae-Cha got distracted by the waiter who came to check on them.

“I was?” Seungkwan asked, sounding confused himself.

“Get lost, brat!” Jihoon hit him on the arm while Ae-Cha wasn’t looking.

“Whoa, whoa! Calm down, yo!” Seugnkwan laughed.

“You speak English too?!” Ae-Cha asked excitedly to Seungkwan who paused.

“No. He doesn’t.” Jihoon blurted out. “He likes to think he does.”

“Aye, not cool, man! I speak English!” Seungkwan defended.

“What about you, Jihoon?” She asked her date.

“Only a little.” He replied with a small smile.

“I can teach you more!” She beamed at both of them. “Soo Min helped teach both Bo-Young and I when we were going to school.” She explained.

“Ah? Yes? What?” Seungkwan nodded, a confused expression on his face. Ae-Cha giggled as Jihoon sighed, shaking his head.

“You two heard there’s no work tonight… right?” Jeonghan asked as he was seated on the couch with Won Woo. Soo Min was on the other couch with Mingyu who asked if he could braid her hair and she happily agreed.

“Really?” Won Woo asked, confused.

“Didn’t you get a text from our manager?”

“Ah, left our phones on their chargers back in the room.” He shook his head, remembering.

“Why is there no work?” Mingyu asked as he was almost finished braiding Soo Min’s elbow length hair.

“Apparently a water line broke, so they had to close all the buildings on that street.”

“Ah, how unfortunate.” Mingyu frowned, tying the end of Soo Min’s braid. He let it hang off her shoulder and proceeded to put the hood of his hoodie over her head. “So cute!” He whispered, admiring his work. When she pulled her knees up under the hoodie along with her arms, like a turtle hiding in its shell, the others couldn’t help but smile.

“She’s still cold?” Won Woo asked, sounding slightly worried.

“Maybe someone needs to cuddle her?” Mingyu grinned, looking towards Jeonghan.

“I’m okay!” Soo Min exclaimed from within Mingyu’s hoodie, making the three laugh.

Shortly after, Won Woo claimed he was going to take a nap while Mingyu said he should go fetch Junhui at the store, taking two umbrellas. That left Soo Min and Jeonghan alone once again. They both were still on separate couches as the TV was on, playing a K-Drama.

Jeonghan could notice Soo Min peeking at him a few time in the corner of his eyes and smiled. In a matter of minutes, he saw her come out of her shell and come over to the couch he was on, sitting close to him and retreated back into the hoodie once again, falling over onto his lap by accident. “Pikachu is freezing!” She squealed from inside.

“Do you need a blanket?” He chuckled, helping her sit up right again. Her head poked out and faced him.

“No, I just need you!” She smiled shyly.

Joy overtook his heart as he pulled her close to his side in attempts to keep her warm. Today was a good day, besides the rain. Which seemed to still be going!

Later on, Bo-Young and Jisoo were able to get to the cake shop Ae-Cha and Jihoon were when Mingyu passed them with a spare umbrella. It was originally for Junhui, but it was okay, he could share it with his friend. He didn’t want those two to remain stranded at the bookstore for too long.

When they met up with their friends, they were surprised to see Seungkwan still with the two cuties. Jihoon looked irritated as Seungkwan and Ae-Cha were laughing about something again.

“Oh no, is Seungkwan being the third wheel?” Jisoo asked his small friend quietly.

“He’s so annoying, he won’t leave.” Jihoon frowned.

“It’s okay, there will be other dates, right?”

“Eh…”

“You plan to take her out again, right?” Jisoo smiled.

“Yes… of course.” He nodded slightly embarrassed.

“Today was so sudden, so don’t stress about it, okay?”

“Fine.” He sighed. “Where are the other two?” He asked, curious.

“They took shelter at Jeonghan’s apartment. So they’re fine.” Jisoo replied.

“I bet his roommates are being third wheels too…” Jihoon said a bit bitterly.

“Maybe, knowing them.” Jisoo couldn’t help but laugh at that. It was probably true, even though he just saw Mingyu a short while ago, Won Woo was probably bugging them.

“I’m really sorry, you two! I had no idea things would turn out this way.” Bo-Young started to aplogized.

“It’s okay, unnie! We had fun!” Ae-Cha assured her friend with a cheery smile.

“Are you sure?” She frowned at her. “It’s okay if you didn’t, just be honest.”

“No, really! We had fun, didn’t we?” Ae-Cha asked Jihoon next to her. “We even held hands!”

“You did?!” Bo-Young’s face lit up like a Christmas tree at those words. “Awwww~!” She gushed.

Jihoon lowered his head, embarrassed by his date’s older friend. She was probably 10x worse than Soo Min who adores all living cute things. Jisoo chuckled along with Seungkwan. You never really got to see him flustered like this often.

It was mid afternoon by now as the five sat there, chatting for a bit to pass time since they were waiting for the rain to die down some more.

“Jeonghan…” Soo Min mumbled quietly next to him.

“Yes?” He replied, looking down at her cuddled up to his side.

“So we went on a date today… does this mean?” She asked, not looking up at him, knowing she’d get too embarrassed if she did.

“Does this mean… what is it?” He asked, slightly confused.

“You know…” She blushed. “Does that mean… we’re boyfriend and girlfriend?!” She blurted out, hiding back in her shell again. He laughed at her cute behavior.

“That depends…” He finally said.

“Depends?” She peeked at him. “I’m not sure how this dating thing goes these days…”

“Really?” He chuckled.

“Yes, don’t judge me! I’ve been living under a rock for 18 years!” She pouted, crawling away from him to sit on the other side of the couch now, too embarrassed to be that close to him anymore.

“Most boyfriends would court the girl a couple of times before making it official.” He explained, understanding why she left his side.

“Ah, I see… My sister and Ren went on one date. She left single and came home taken.”

“They probably had some history before that date, so that would explain it.”

“Did we have history?”

“If you want me to be your boyfriend, just say so!” He laughed. She was being so cute!

“I don’t want to rush things, though!” She frowned.

“There’s no rush…” He assured her. “If you’d like… why don’t I court you a few more times and then you can decide?”

“O-Okay… that sounds good.” She stuttered out, a small smile growing on her lips.

“How many dates do you want?” He grinned.

“I get to order how many?!” She giggled. She thought about it for a moment before smiling. “It took us four days to get close, let’s go on four more dates, then?”

“Alright.” He nodded, happy with that number.

“Great.” She clapped her hands together, though more like the oversized sleeves together.

“Ah, you’re so cute.” He laughed, bringing a hand up to cover his mouth. “How are you so cute?”

“I don’t know!” She grinned. “I just am!”

“You’re gonna have to stop or else my heart won’t be able to take it.” He played faint.

“Don’t worry, I’ll shock your heart back to life!” She beamed, extending one arm out. “Bzzz~!”

He took her arm and pulled her back over, capturing her into a tight hug. She squealed and giggled as he did so… it was such an adorable sight. Despite what they just discussed, you would almost mistake them as an actual couple just now.

“Let’s see each other real soon!” Ae-Cha smiled as she waved to Jihoon. She and Bo-Young were parting ways with their dates now that the rain had finally stopped.

“Yes! Of course! Real soon!” Seungkwan waved energetically.

“Yah! She was talking to me!” Jihoon nudged him.

“Text me later!” Bo-Young smiled, waving Jisoo’s way.

“Sure.” He waved back, returning that smile. With that, the two girls disappeared off around the corner down the sidewalk.

“Do you plan to stick around now that she’s gone?” Jihoon asked to Seungkwan, irritation laced in his voice.

“I thought we could hang out!” Seungkwan smiled.

“After you crashed my date?!”

“I didn’t know you two were on a date!” He laughed.

“Ah, I’m going home.” Jihoon ruffled his hair, heading down the sidewalk.

“Later.” Jisoo chuckled, watching his younger friend march off.

“Later, hyung!” Seungkwan waved. “Wait for me!” He sprinted off after Jihoon who started running away.

“Kids.” Jisoo shook his head with a smile. “Speaking of kids…” He turned and headed home, the bag of his and Soo Min’s clothes with him after giving Jihoo and Ae-Cha their clothes back.

He made it home in short time to be greeted with Minghao sitting on the couch by himself watching TV.

“Hey.” Jisoo greeted.

“You’re home?” Minghao smiled, getting up to greet him.

“Yeah, sorry, things changed when Jeonghan and Jihoon’s work got canceled, so we were out longer than we thought. Did you eat yet? Is Hansol up yet?”

“I had ramen.” The younger roommate replied. “He’s still sleeping.”

“I’m not sure when Soo Min will be back, but I’ll start making something early for dinner, okay?”

“Okay!” He smiled happily.

Jisoo left to his room to put this things away and placed Jeonghan’s clothes on his bed for when he’d come to drop off Pikachu later, he could just grab them.

“Go ahead and keep those.” Mingyu mentioned to Soo Min as she was getting ready to leave. “You can return them next time you come by.”

“Really? Are you sure?” She asked as she held her damp dress, it hadn’t dried enough since they got there.

“There’s no point in putting that dress back on. It’s fine.” He assured her with a smile.

“Okay, thank you!” She smiled. “I’ll be sure to bring you guys some breakfast tomorrow!” She added.

“Yessss!” Won Woo threw a fist in the air. He really loved her cooking a lot.

“You should get going now before it decides to rain again.” Junhui warned them. “Take this umbrella just in case.”

“Thanks, Chansey!” Soo Min smiled, accepting it.

“Where are your shoes?” He suddenly noticed she had no shoes with her at the door.

“Shoes?” She tilted her head, looking down.

“Did you drop them when we were running here?” Jeonghan frowned, looking around the floor of the apartment.

“Ah…” She chuckled nervously. “Maybe…”

She remembered she had accidentally dropped them halfway to his apartment when she tried tried to keep her hat on since it provided a bit of protection from the harsh rain. She wasn’t worried about them that much though since she didn’t want them in the first place! They were so hard to walk in to begin with.

“What should we do?” Junhui tried to think of something. She really couldn’t borrow their shoes, they were too big for her small feet, it wouldn’t serve any use.

“I’ll just carry her on my back. Jisoo’s apartment isn’t that far, anyway.” Jeonghan said, returning to the front door.

“Problem solved!” Mingyu grinned. “Be careful getting there, okay?”

“Of course.” He nodded to him before facing Soo Min. “Let’s go.”

“Okay! By guys! I’ll see you tomorrow.” She waved as she stepped out of the apartment.

“Bye, Pikachu!” The three waved back.

Once they were out, Jeonghan knelt down for her to get on his back. She jumped on and they were off.

“Did you have fun today?” He asked as they were coming up to the crosswalk.

“Yes! Tons of fun… I’m happy we got to do this today.” She said happily behind him, her arm tightening around him just a little, like she was giving him a hug.

“I’m glad.” He smiled as they reached the crosswalk. He was about to push the button but she stopped him.

“I got it!” She chimed, using the tip of the umbrella to press the button. “Poke!”

Jeonghan chuckled at her child-like behavior as they waited for the signal to come on. As they waited, a few drops started to fall again from the sky.

“Aish, really?” Soo Min frowned, opening the umbrella and holding it up to shield both of them. “This rain is starting to get annoying.” She complained.  A clap of thunder sounded off, causing her to flinch. “Ah~! Sorry! I didn’t mean to offend you, rain!”

“The rain loves us.” Jeonghan joked. “I mean just look at us… it can’t resist.”

“Darn right!” She giggled along with him.

Finally the signal came on and they crossed the street.

As they were coming up to a corner, Soo Min noticed a part of an umbrella coming around and told Jeonghan to stop so they wouldn’t run into who ever it was.

“Oh? Soo Min?” Min Hee asked, Ren right beside her holding their umbrella above their heads.

Jeonghan and Soo Min stilled.

This chapter was pretty cute!

I’m sure Seungkwan didn’t like that as much…*cough*aegyo-hater*cough*

Did you see him trying to crash Jihoon and Ae-Cha’s date?! Like… yo, not cool man!

I sense he felt like he was lacking attention and into this chapter, LOL
