Title: 9/10
I really like your title. It is unique, not something one would see that often, while still alluding to the fact that there is a love story with a lot of pain behind it. I loved the way it ties in so well with your story line!

Plot: 28/35

                4/5: Originality
Honestly there are lots of stories where the man gets left by his love and meets her years later when he is engaged. Yours is made so unique because of the way the leaving was done and the major twists you've added to the story through Goeun and Youngjae's romance. I absolutely loved that you did not go the all-so-typical route and have the other girl be a total b.tch! She's loveable and that in itself really made your story stand out to me. Adding more twists in (such as Mani never going back to Yongguk for the way he treats her, and instead ending up with Daehyun) would make it even better.

                10/10: Believability
I like that you built up your world and made the characters feel like real people, especially the way that even the 'bad' guys have obvious reasons for their actions and are not evil, just self-centered. You've done a really great job with that and the way that you set up your storyline, too, is very believable. Everything from the mother's actions to Yongguk's responses in current time are so realistic, I love it.

                6/10: Narration
You do have some narration issues, mostly being from that I suspect that you are not a native English speaker? I will get into those in the grammar portion, but they really did affect the narration of your story.

                8/10: Setting
I really liked your believable world, but I would like to see more things described. Her wedding shop, for instance; what does it look like? What kid of flowers does Youngjae tend to? What are the characters wearing? Really describing your setting more will help the reader to be able to not only read your story, but envision it in their mind, making an entirely better experience.

Characterization: 26/35

                7/10: Development
With your female characters you do a fantastic job of showing their thoughts and emotions, but with your male characters you don't do as well. Yongguk is very hard to understand; one moment he is nice and sweet and the other moment he is mean/stubborn. Youngjae, too, is hard to understand but for a different reason; all we really get to see of him is his love for Goeun. Really delving into your male characters as much as you do your female ones will really help to bring them more to life.

                2/5: Presentation

Chapter 22: After finally finishing writing It Begins With Blood (still posting the last couple chapters), I decided to revisit the previous review. It still has just as much impact now as it did then, if not more so. There are certainly many things I could go back and change to make it more accessible to readers and more pertinent to the tags specifically listed. As I got to the end, it definitely felt even harder to juggle the people I'd introduced and to make sure they all had some sort of resolution. To the point that I'm not sure I succeeded even half as well as I intended. But I do know that with the sound critique given, the access to the polls taken, and the suggestions made in regards to how I can make it better, this is certainly a project I would like to put under the microscope again at a later point in time. Perhaps when it's not so fresh (now) and it's had a chance to settle. Writing 'The End' is always hard with any extensive piece of work and this one was no different. But I do feel I can make it better and give it a stronger direction and purpose in the future. To that end, I wanted to thank Amber_Sica again and especially you Librarian for keeping the reviews in an easily accessible archive for later perusal. It's incredibly helpful and I will be coming back to it in the future. Cheers!
