Title (8/10)
The title tells the reader what the main ‘mission’ in the story is -seducing the gay character. This title isn’t the most original title but it still appeals to the reader. In chapter two there was a small bit of saying the plan is to 'seduce the gay’ it would have stayed in the readers mind more if you added in as a last line saying the title.

Plot (14/35)

Originality (2/5)
The idea of a popular girl or a girl trying to make the gay boy in school isn’t new. You put little twists in the story that also made it harder to believe. Hyeonri and Yixing were going out but he ends up cheating on her - this happens in a lot of stories and is repeated a lot. The fact that Yixing also lost all his memories but remembers everything except her is very cliche

Believability (4/10)
This is where my problems with the story are. The fact that she’s a ‘fallen’ queenka just because she stopped bullying people? For me it’s kind of stereotyping the fact that you have to be mean and a bully to be popular (which does happen a lot but it’s still a stereotype).
A major problem for me was the whole Yixing lost his memories and remembered everything but her and their relationship. It’s cliche and it wasn’t explained much. It does happen but what made it unbelievable is the fact that her friends don’t seem to know about it and that it wasn’t talked about a lot.

Narration (6/10)
The narration was pretty good and easy to read but one thing that bothered me was that you add in a lot of new stuff and don’t explain it. It's very distracting reading because I'm trying to figure it out what happened and what is now going on. You talk about Yixing liking Yoomi (Chapter 10) and how everyone knows, if everyone knows he likes Yoomi why is he know

Chapter 22: After finally finishing writing It Begins With Blood (still posting the last couple chapters), I decided to revisit the previous review. It still has just as much impact now as it did then, if not more so. There are certainly many things I could go back and change to make it more accessible to readers and more pertinent to the tags specifically listed. As I got to the end, it definitely felt even harder to juggle the people I'd introduced and to make sure they all had some sort of resolution. To the point that I'm not sure I succeeded even half as well as I intended. But I do know that with the sound critique given, the access to the polls taken, and the suggestions made in regards to how I can make it better, this is certainly a project I would like to put under the microscope again at a later point in time. Perhaps when it's not so fresh (now) and it's had a chance to settle. Writing 'The End' is always hard with any extensive piece of work and this one was no different. But I do feel I can make it better and give it a stronger direction and purpose in the future. To that end, I wanted to thank Amber_Sica again and especially you Librarian for keeping the reviews in an easily accessible archive for later perusal. It's incredibly helpful and I will be coming back to it in the future. Cheers!
