Okay, PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE BEFORE ADVANCING ONTO THE CHAPTER BELOW IT!!!

Yep, I'm updating! :D

I've noticed it's taken people some time to adjust to the Jonghyun x Sekyung couple, so for now there's rarely an update on fanfics here.

I'm honestly in support for my idol.

He's not only my ideal guy (sort of... all of SHINee are my ideal types, apparently) but he's also someone I look up to if I ever were to pursue my passion of singing.

Please don't bash me, for I am just merely expressing my opinion in the country of United States aka land which allows freedom of speech.

Although I like Sekyung in reality, I suddenly drew up a part for her in this fanfic. :)  It'll come up soon, don't worry.

On a side note: Finally the Almighty Key appears in this fanfic!

He should be, since he's the main guy as well as Jonghyun!

As Nikka and Connie headed to the hotel room, SHINee and their manager was already there, watching an unconscious Key in bed.

"Is he still alive?!" Onew exclaimed with wide eyes. Minho and the manager both smacked him on the back of his head. Onew pouted and rubbed his head.

Taemin waited outside pacing for not only Key, but for Connie and Nikka as well.

They're taking too long! Who knows what would happen to them since Key is in this state! *gasp* Could they have gotten themselves hurt as well?!

Just then, Taemin spots the sisters walking through the hallway, searching the numbers on each door for their hotel room. He waved his arms and shouted, "Nikka! Connie! Over here! Hurry!" in English.

The girls rushed to Taemin's side as they spot him from afar. Connie heard about the incident earlier, so right now she looks worried for the omma of the group. As for Nikka, she simply yawned and smiled a bit at Taemin. Taemin looked at her confused, then faced Connie.

"You haven't told her yet?"

"Tell me what?" Nikka asked as she rubbed her eyes behind her glasses. Yes, she wears glasses like Connie.

Connie rolled her eyes at her sleepy sister and looked up at Taemin. "I found her sleeping on the balcony seats after you guys rehearsed."

Taemin seemed to understand now. "Ah. So she didn't see the incident during BoA's performance?" he asked her. Nikka stared at them. "Something happened to BoA?" she asked them. Both of the dongsaengs shook their heads.

"It's Key..." they both mentioned, rushing through the door nearby and opening it. They let Nikka walk in to observe the hotel room.

Jonghyun was on his knees holding onto Key's right hand, his face in a state of depression and worry. Everyone else in the room was standing. Nikka slowly walked close to the manager, watching Key laying peacefully in bed.

"What happened?" she asked the manager. He looked at her like she was crazy. Minho tapped on his manager's shoulder. "Hyung, she asked you what happened in English." he simply translated. The manager nodded and told Minho to translate the info to Nikka. After a while, the manager bowed and had to run out of the room for emergency stuff.

Minho walked up to Nikka as Connie, Taemin, and Onew stood outside of the hotel room. "Manager hyung said that Key got slightly distracted out of nowhere and managed to trip and fall from where he was walking on stage. He tripped and fell head first on top of Onew hyung, getting unconscious. The doctor came by a while ago and said that he's okay, just in a bit of a shock." Minho explained everything. Nikka nodded and continued to watch Key in his sleep.

Meanwhile... in another flashback for Key.....

Kim Kibum and his parents had to formally meet old friends of theirs a few days after his fieldtrip. Trying to be the good child, Kibum was polite throughout the whole conversation at the house of the couple.

Kibum got bored being quiet and eating, so he carefully listened in on the adult conversation taken place. As it so happens, the old man was friends with his father as the woman used to teach his mother before at a very young age. The couple sounded odd to Kibum, but he disregarded it and started studying framed pictures around the house.

His eyes glued upon a certain framed photo of a little girl who may be a few years younger than him.

The same girl who he met at the fieldtrip.

Kibum kept blinking his eyes to see if he was hallucinating, but his ears never fooled him. He spun around at the cheery voice of the odd lady.

The same odd lady who was at the clothing store with her daughter, the girl he fell in love with at first sight.

Kibum fidgeted as he remained standing, but then the next words he heard from his parents made him freeze to the ground.

"Why don't we arrange a marriage for our children? Our son has a bright future ahead of him, and we hear your eldest daughter is very nice, smart, and kind."

Was he getting into an arranged marriage with the girl? He glanced at the odd couple. They shared a look of uncertainty.

"Umm... we're going to think about it. Shouldn't the children be able to get to know each other first before deciding whether they should get married or not?"

His parents reluctantly nodded in agreement and they continued on other topic conversations as if they haven't mentioned it.

Knowing his parents, Kibum didn't want to follow through with it.

If he wanted to get married, he wants to do it on his own accord, not from an arranged marriage.

One Saturday came by, and Kibum automatically took a flight to Beijing and ran away to his grandma's vacation place. He was always on great terms with his grandma, plus his pursuit to become a star. He never wanted to get married by his parents' will and become a doctor. He had been in great hiding with his grandma for about a year, then traveled back to Korea to continue his studies. His parents have tried looking for him, but his grandma always protects him and lies to them about not knowing his whereabouts.

Everyday, Kibum always thought about that girl, as ridiculous as it seems. It had gotten to the point where he listed her out as his ideal girl once he became quite famous a few years later..... and his nickname Key? He remembered the first time he saw her, and always made sure the blue lock with the key had always been in his pocket or bag at all times. Since then, he's been wanting to be called Key....

End of Flashback

Key woke up slowly to find himself in a hotel room, but not his assigned one.  He looked around the room and noticed only Jonghyun, sleeping beside him.  He smiled and ruffled his hyung's hair.  He then stared up at the ceiling and thought for a moment.

I'd give anything just to meet that girl again.... ow, my head hurts.

During the night Key was sleeping before Jonghyun came back in the room to watch Key by himself, Nikka had watched Key while Jonghyun and the others went to meet Connie and her friends at the backstage of the concert.

As it turns out, Connie's friends Alana, Abby, and Tasha came to watch the SM Concert tomorrow.  They were lucky enough to get backstage passes for today AND tomorrow.  While Nikka was watching Key in a motherly way, Connie was chatting with Minho, Taemin, and Abby as Alana talked to Onew.  Tasha was spazzing over Jonghyun, which made him somewhat uncomfortable, wishing Nikka was with him instead.

The next day, everyone was somewhat into their own world of groups, exploring the streets of downtown L.A.

Onew and Abby went to check out the nearest areas where they sell chicken. -___-  At least no one knew of his fame, or else they'd be making fun of him for being too weird and filmed it to the public.  Instead, everyone just stared at him tripping and stumbling a lot.  Abby, on the other hand, was having fun.

Jonghyun and Nikka catched up as regular pen pal buddies and hid to an Anime Convention next to the Staples Center.  Jonghyun disguised himself as a schoolgirl and Nikka didn't have to disguise herself, since she's not famous.  They shopped for the coolest things they could find and took pictures of each other to remember moments.

Alana and Tasha stuck to Taemin as he wanted to go to the nearest dance studio.  All 3 of them had fun practicing random dance moves to Taemin's iPod all day.

Key was almost recovering with his slight headache and ran to catch up.  He was sort of late, so he ended up shopping to the nearest outlet stores with Minho and Connie. =___= Poor Minho.  He had to restrain the two sometimes from some of their style tastes in... practically anything.  Clothing was the only thing the two had in common.

Then came evening, when the concert started.  As SHINee was performing Lucifer, Key couldn't help but look for the girl of his dreams that he saw yesterday.  Until now, he's never noticed that Nikka, Jonghyun's pen pal, is the girl of his dreams from his past.

Finally, he found her amongst a crowd of other crazt Shawols.  Key noticed how distracting the fangirls were to the girl's ears.  He sang towards her anyway, which made the crowd around her go even wild.  Nikka noticed Key's eyes looking directly at her, but still hasn't spoken a word.  Instead, she smiles back at him, remembering how she took care of him last night.  If it wasn't for her, Key would probably be in bed resting some more due to an extreme headache from the fall.

After the concert ended and the autographs were finished, everyone left the Staples Center.  Key couldn't find the girl, still clinging onto hope that fate will let them see each other once more.

Meanwhile, Jonghyun took Nikka's hand and pulled her towards somewhere with a hoodie on to cover himself from being seen.  "Let's go somewhere - I've got to show you something~" he whispered in Nikka's ear.  She blushed and let him drag her to a nearby fountain.  The nightlights made the fountain look extremely beautiful.

Nikka stared at the water in awe.  "It's beautiful..." she breathed out slowly.  Jonghyun kept staring at her, and his heart beat strangely in a rapid motion.

"So are you."  He whispered to her in English.  Nikka turned red and shifted towards him, making them look at each other in the eyes.

After a few moments of silence, both of them randomly giggled.  "You've been studying English lately.  That's good."  Nikka complimented.

Jonghyun smirked at her.  "You should learn more Hangul so you'd visit Korea next time."

"Mm.  Maybe when I earn enough cash."

"I could get you tickets."

"Nah.  I'd rather pay for my own expenses."  Jonghyun chuckled after hearing that.  "What?"  Nikka asked him.

"You're different from those other fangirls..." he casually said.

Nikka shrugged.  "I'm no ordinary fangirl.  I just admire good music."

"And... you like our music?  SHINee?"

Nikka turned to him and smiled.  "I like you.  I admire your style."

Jonghyun was satisfied with that answer.  I'll take that as a confession.....
