Key's POV

Everything was going great. :)

I continued to sip my tea as I can see by myself from the booth that everyone had a good time.  After eating happily, everyone left into their own worlds.

Onew hyung kept... munching onto chicken.  -__-  Minho and Taemin were exploring the grill part of the restaurant, amazed at the different choices of food.  Connie tried to gain a conversation with Onew.... and surprisingly succeeded. o_O  I wonder what they're talking about...?

As for Jjong hyung and Nikka.... wait, where are they?

Before I could get up to find them, Tito and Tita suddenly sat across the table from me. 

Everything was going great. =___=

They looked at me with different expressions.  Tito had a stern look on his face, which sorta spooked me.  Tita, on the other hand, looked satisfied with what she's about to say next.

It's times like these I wish I didn't learn English.

"Kevin Kim, right?"  That's right, my English name in America was Kevin.  "We've met you and your parents a long time ago, like 7 years ago, do you remember?"

I sighed and nodded.  She seemed happy to hear of it.  Oh God, I hate this woman!

"Most likely to Nikka's preference on men, she may not end up in a relationship for a loooooonnngggg time.  You know, even though we haven't heard from your parents, it seems we have thought about that engagement proposal -"

"I'm sorry, but I can't marry someone due to an arrangement marriage.  I believe matrimony between a man and a woman should have pure love, not learned love."  I told her off politely.  Tito's eyes glistened as he heard my words, but Tita shook her head.

"Then get to know her!  She's a wonderful girl, I'll tell you!"  She sounds like she's begging for me to marry her daughter.  Doesn't she care about her daughter's feelings?!

"....I'll think about it."  I didn't want to say that, but anything just to satisfy this woman and LEAVE ME ALONE.

Finally, she grinned and left to talk to her younger daughter about asking who her ideal guy is.  How do I know that?

.....her voice IS FREAKIN` LOUD!!!! F***!!! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE THIS WOMAN!

Tito and I flinched when we heard Tita cackle.  I'm pretty sure it was what she called a 'laugh'. -__-

"......are you really thinking about marrying my daughter, Nikka?"  I looked at Tito's serious face.

"No, I barely even know her, to be honest."  I answered.  He nodded in consideration, then spoke again.

"You seem like the perfect guy, but I agree with you about matrimony and love.  You don't have to marry her if you don't want to.  My wife's just overreacting."  What? 

See, this is what I like about Tito.  He may look stern, but he stays calm and compostured.

I leaned in closer to whisper.  "Tito, pardon me, but why did you marry your wife?"

He smiled and answered, "Because it was love at first sight.  We got married right away, since when we met, we weren't getting any younger."  I chuckled a bit and glanced on my left, now spotting Jjong hyung and Nikka walking down from the stairs.  They were at the balcony?

I hope nothing happened up there... they're just penpals, right?  Although Jonghyun hyung talks about her a lot, it doesn't mean he likes her, does he?

Hope not.

Judging by Tito and Tita's opinion, I have a chance to be with Nikka?

I turned my attention to Tito once more before he left.  "Tito, you think I have a chance to make Nikka fall in love with me?"

He froze and looked at me quizzically.  "Do you.... like my daughter?"

I smiled at him cheekily.  "What can I say?  It was love at first sight, and I don't plan on losing her."

Tito let out a small smile.  "As long as you don't break her heart, good luck."  he advised softly and walked towards his wife.

I sat there with my jaw open.

I ACTUALLY GET PERMISSION TO WOO HER?!

I should be happy, right?

....no.  Why?

I felt mad watching Jjong hyung and Nikka playing with their ice cream.  If I'm jealous, that would mean Jjong is my love rival for Nikka.

He's like the best hyung and friend I've ever had.

Let's hope I'm not jealous.....
