It was evening, thus began the adventure of the SHINee boys and the girls dressed in kiguruma pajamas.

The original plan is to go candy hunting from door-to-door, but Jonghyun and Onew seemed to think that the tradition is strange to go to a stranger's house and ask for sweets.

Taemin, on the other hand, kept jumping in joy due to the sugar level he's about to receive and the fact that he gets to go out without fans having to come bamboozle him like dinner running away.

Nikka turned to Jonghyun and whispered in his ear, "Hey, I know another way of celebrating Halloween, but it might be too scary for these children." as she pointed to Connie, Taemin, Tasha, and Alana.  Abby was seen trying to convince Onew that trick-or-treating's fun while Key kept checking himself with a compact mirror and Minho constantly staring at him and Connie back and forth.

Jonghyun blushed but covered it with a grin.  He just recently found out around morning that he might like his best friend, but he's not sure yet and he wants to maintain their relationship the way it is right now - comfortable.

Just then Onew came running towards them with Abby trailing behind.

"I don't like this tradition much..." he admitted in English.  Jonghyun and Nikka turned to look at each other, smiling, then turning back to Onew who was now joined by Abby.

"Hyung, Nikka's found a way to enjoy this evening."  Jonghyun told Onew in Korean.  Abby glanced at her watch.

"Hey, it's 6:38p.m., let's go candy hunting first in about an hour, then do whatever Nikka's planning, okay?"  she confirmed their schedule to them.  The 3 nodded in reply and they all walked to the rest of the group.

Taemin held Connie's hand and chirped up, "I want to go trick-or-treating now with Connie~!"

Everyone stared at their intertwined hands as Connie tried pulling away.  Taemin stubbornly held onto her and ran to a random house, happy and giddy all at once.  Minho's eyes widened and immediately followed the two, without even leaving an explanation.

Just then, Jonghyun spoke up.  "Nikka and I are going somewhere, so -" then he grabbed Nikka by the arm and ran off into another direction on the streets.  Key's eyes widened and immediately followed the two, without even leaving an explanation as well.

Onew was left with Abby, Alana, and Tasha.  He turned to the girls.

"Well, Abby and I were planning on following Jonghyun and Nikka, so....." he started to say, but Tasha and Alana simply shrugged and left Onew and Abby on the sidewalk, now running to where Taemin, Connie, and Minho went.

Onew and Abby looked up at the sky together before running to where Jonghyun, Nikka, and Key are at.

It was getting dark, letting the streetlights illuminate the pavement roads as people in costumes roam around the neighborhoods with buckets of candy in their hands.

Candy hunting with Taemin, Minho, Connie, Tasha, and Alana~

"I'm hungry!"  Taemin and Connie exclaimed as they traveled on to their 15th door stop.  Minho reluctantly followed the candy hunters as Tasha and Alana trailed behind.

The two girls started whispering and discussing something which made their mouths grin.  Tasha looked up ahead and called Connie to come to them.

After getting candy, Connie quickly ran towards her best friends with Taemin and Minho trailing behind.  "What's up?" she asked them.

The girls grinned at the small Pink Panther girl.  "We want to do something bad for once..." Tasha trailed off, glancing at Alana opening her bag and revealing what's inside to the 3 clueless people.

"This is-"

"Wait, why -"

"Aren't we going to get-"

Tasha raised a hand to stop all chattering.  Her evil grin never left her face.

"Relax, Connie.  We'll only do this to people who are real jerks.  You know any jerks we can egg nearby?"  Connie actually hesitated to think.  Minho and Taemin looked at the small girl in disbelief.

"So there actually is someone in mind you want to... what's it called again?" Minho asked Tasha.

"Egging houses?  It's what children in costumes do to people who are complete jerks with no sympathy.  Sometimes kids take it for granted, but we're not."  Tasha explained.

Alana added in, "We can't get caught though, or else we'd be in BIG trouble."  Minho and Taemin gulped and nodded in reply.

Connie snapped her fingers (if she could with her costume) and looked up to her friends with an evil grin plastered on her face.

"I know whose house we can egg.  Trust me, she deserves this...."

45 minutes later....

The 5 teens ran away from the block after egging Eunhye's house.  They stopped at a bus stop with a low street light illuminating their figures.

They all took a deep breath and started laughing.

"Man, that was fun!"  Taemin exclaimed.  He high fived Tasha and sat down with her, eating chocolate from their baskets.

Alana continued to stand and text on her phone.  Minho stood by the bus stop also, letting Connie sit down and eat what's from her basket.  He looked down at Connie with a question that can't be left unanswered from his mind.

"Connie, why did we egg this Eunhye girl's house?  How was she a jerk?"

Connie stopped eating and looked up at Minho's huge eyes.  "Eunhye was my sister's best friend.  She's always been a pain in the , always getting into trouble and making my sister be her guardian somewhat.  Ate doesn't deserve that.  She treats Eunhye nicely, but what does she get in return?  She gets treated like a victim to one of her pranks!  Ate always complains to me and yet she tells me never to tell our parents, which I don't, but I still despise Eunhye in front of others.  My sister deserves better friends than her..."

Minho looked at Connie in awe.  There was something in her eyes which showed she really trusts her sister yet hates how her sister is.

She rambled on, "And the worst part is?  Ate always eventually forgives Eunhye and stays by her side like a loyal friend!  She really doesn't deserve that!  Who cares if it was her birthday yesterday!  She deserves the egging!"

That's when Connie got Taemin's attention.  His eyes widened and he turned to look at Connie.

"Wait!  Is that why Jonghyun came to the hotel yesterday with Nikka noona early?  He said they went to a party and it didn't end well, that's why noona's eyes were wet and damp on her cheeks."

Minho's mind seem to snap as he processed what Taemin had just said.  He looked towards him.  "Come to think of it, could it be that Nikka-sshi went to Eunhye's party with Jonghyun and that something there made her cry?" he openly asked.

Everyone thought of the possibility, especially Connie.  Her eyes glared at the direction they just came from and she bolted from her seat, now about to run back to the scene.  Minho pulled her back.

"Don't go back there.  You might get in trouble.  Think of what your sister would say if she found out we'd get in trouble."  he calmly whispered in her ear.  That made the girl stop struggling and fall limp into Minho's arms.

Taemin and Tasha couldn't help but think similar - the same scene of catching them sleeping this morning was still fresh in their minds.  All of a sudden a flash interrupted their thoughts.  They blinked numerously and looked around.

More flashes came from behind the bush near the bus stop.

Alana's eyes widened at her iPhone and glanced around, only to find the paparazzi take pictures of Taemin sitting next to Tasha from where she was standing.  It was only then she realized that she was standing about a few feet away from the bus stop, trying to get a signal on her iPhone.

Oh, crap, kpop gossip news travel fast!

She glanced at her iPhone once more to make sure she wasn't seeing things, then back at the bus stop.  Alana watched Minho holding onto Connie by wrapping his arms around her small figure.

Oh, this is NOT good at all!

Alana quickly thought of a distraction and pointed to Starbucks from across the street, shouting in a high pitch voice, "Oh my God!!! Is that Jay Park?!"

The paparazzi swiftly move away from the bushes and ran across the street, ignoring the red street light and ended up holding up traffic for the cars trying to drive across.  That gave enough time for Alana to pull Connie and Tasha with her and run, yelling that the paparazzi is following them.  Taemin and Minho sped up to Alana's quick pace and caught up to her.

"Quick!  We gotta go to the hotel before they catch us!"  Alana cried out in Korean, hoping no English speaking fan nearby could know Korean as well.

The rest of her friends only gave questioning glances at her as they ran along her side.

"You know Korean?"  they all asked at once in English.

Candy hunting with Jonghyun, Nikka, Key, Abby, and Onew~

After 15 minutes of candy hunting, the group stopped and sat on the edge of the sidewalk.

"I'm bored~" Jonghyun and Nikka exclaimed in a bored tone.

Abby raised her hand and suggested, "I know a place nearby where they sell chicken..."  The rest of the group stared at her in disbelief, whereas Onew interestingly gave his attention to her.  He gestured for her to go on.

She raised her eyebrow and pointed up ahead at a corner from across the street.  There was a KFC joint.

".............." The trio's jaws were hung open gaping at the mini restaurant.

Onew, on the other hand, ran with Abby to the place.

Aish, Onew, how we fail to see you as the mature one....

The trio laughed and followed the 2 to order fried chicken.

45 minutes later....

"Hyung, you practically cleaned the place up!"  Key cried out in frustration while throwing his arms up in the air.

Onew shrugged as Abby wiped his face with a tissue.  "It's okay, Key, as long as we gave them a lot of money, they practically worshipped my ground!"  the leader exclaimed proudly.  That earned him a good whack in the head by the diva's basket.

"OW!!!" Jonghyun and Nikka snickered at the OnKey in front of them.  After a while, it took Jonghyun a moment to realize he had been holding hands with Nikka since they left KFC.  He tried to pull away, but his body won't seem to cooperate and instead held her hand tighter.

His heart started beating rapidly once more.

What the hell?  I don't like her this much, do I?

The next event may answer his question.

Nikka's eyes brightened up and she ran towards a random house while pulling Jonghyun with her.  Worried for Nikka's safety, Key ran after her.  Onew and Abby took their time walking towards a huge dark eerie mansion-like house, where Nikka stopped and stood in front of.

She turned to her friends.  "Let's go in here~!!!" she shouted in glee and let go of Jonghyun's hand.  She instead held onto Key's hand, seeing how Key now looks scared just by looking at the exterior of the haunted house.  He saw little kids, teens, and even adults in costumes having fun going in and out of the fun display.

"Relax, Key oppa.  Jonghyun oppa will hold your other hand, too, if you want."  Nikka proposed.  Suddenly Key had Nikka's attention, which made Jonghyun really mad inside for some reason.

Honestly, I just want to hold your hand...

The 2 Kims thought to themselves.  The difference between their thoughts was this - Key's next thought:

Oooh!  I hope I don't get scared!  I want to hold Nikka's hand as long as I can!  But hey, if I get scared, I'll just squeeze onto Onew hyung to death!  Ha!  That's what he gets for eating chicken for 45 minutes without giving us a piece!

And this was Jonghyun's thought:

Wait - did I just think of that?  Why?  I feel angry all of a sudden....

They all entered the haunted house like this:  Onew & Abby first, then Jonghyun, Key, & Nikka

For the 1st 10 minutes, Jonghyun got annoyed at Key's scared reactions.  He got even more annoyed when Key held onto him tightly, screaming "Yeobo~ save me!"  in his ear.  Nikka held onto Key's arm protectively, which made Jonghyun's blood boil even more.

The trio arrived at the doll section of the house.  "Hehe~ wanna play with me?"  one doll asked as it moved its head towards Key and Nikka.  Jonghyun noticed Nikka getting creeped out, but got irritated when Key held onto her protectively.

Suddenly a clown in black and white with a scary ugly face jumped in front of them and smiled at Nikka directly.

"LET'S PLAY~!  I WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND!!!"  He bellowed at her, trying to hug her as he got closer.

Nikka's eyes widened and she screamed in fright as she ran away from Jonghyun and Key.  She even ran past Onew and Abby holding onto each other yet laughing at the ridiculous displays that Key would be afraid of.

The next scene shocked Jonghyun in front of him.

Key suddenly grew angry and lunged at the clown.  He started whacking him with his basket.  "You b****!  Bastard!  You made Nikka run!  What the hell?!  Plus you're too ugly to be a clown!  Ever heard of plastic surgery?!  God, you have a bad sense of fashion!"

Well you can tell he's not scared anymore.

Jonghyun suddenly remembered Nikka and ran after her, leaving Onew now trying to get Key from damaging the clown any further along with Abby's assistance.

Jonghyun searched the house for her.  He called her name several times.

Dammit, Nikka!  Where could you be?!

He got a sudden flashback to his memory of one of the emails Nikka sent to him.

When she gets scared, she tends to hide.  She mentioned once that she's so good at hiding that no one notices she was playing in the first place... AH!  I GOT IT!

Jonghyun spotted a corner outside in the backyard where it looks like no one would want to go there any way, for it's not a part of the main attractions of the haunted house.  He found his friend hiding underneath the benches in a corner in the dark outside; he could also hear her whimpering.

"No one else knows this, but the only way to calm me down is to sing a slow song and feel comforted."  "I don't like feeling scared..."  I'll make sure you won't be, Nikka.

He started singing Baby Baby by 4men as he stepped closer to Nikka. 

"I don't know the reason why I changed
I've been thinking for a long time, with many difficulties ahead"

She stopped sobbing and slowly looked up at him in awe. 

"I seem to be changing quite a lot, please end this oh~
Can you hear this song?"

As Jonghyun sang, he bent down to match Nikka's eye level and wiped her tears away with his hands slowly.

"Thank you oh baby
You're so pretty oh"

Once he was done wiping away, he pulled her to his embrace and they both just sat there in each other's arms as he continued to sing.

The very next day (the very next day)
We meet again, after our break up

A minute later, the clown finally found them and was about to apologize to them, but Jonghyun saw he still had the makeup on. 

"Only you I continously see"

He glared at the clown and motioned for him to go away as he grabbed a rake against the floor next to him. 

"Day to day, I'll be happy"

The clown got scared and ran off, mouthing the words, "Sorry,"  before running off again.

"Things have changed

He finished the song and looked at Nikka's face, his heart still beating rapidly.

Oh, I get it.

She smiled at him and requested, "Sing Love Letter For You, please?"  Jonghyun looked at her curiously.  "Isn't there a rap only for the guy's part?"

She nodded.  "I know you don't rap, but it'd be cool to hear you rap just once."

Jonghyun looked around, then sighed.  "I guess, just don't tell anybody, okay?"  She nodded and giggled as he started to rap.  His face was bright red and he thanked God it was nighttime.

So this is what love feels like... it's an awesome feeling to experience...

He held onto Nikka tighter as she started to sing as well.
