Jonghyun waited for the mailman to arrive early in the morning. It was actually Taemin's turn to get the mail, but Jonghyun woke up extra early on this day just to wait for one specific letter.

Oh yes, that letter.

I swear, if Jonghyun was really a dog, he'd have a tail behind him wagging up and down in anticipation for something to arrive. Like how a dog is waiting for his bone or a frisbee.

Key woke up early after Minho woke him up. Key had to cook breakfast as Minho went for his morning jog with no fans watching him. Before he left, he whispered to him, "Watch your puppy by the window. I have a feeling that if he presses his face on the window any harder, he'd break the glass and fall right through it."

Key was puzzled by Minho's comment and went to check on Jonghyun. Sure enough, the puppy-looking dinosaur had his face pressed onto the window as he watched people walk by below the apartment outside.

“……….” Key left the scene afterwards. He decided to ignore the creeper and just start cooking breakfast.

Finally, the mailman arrived. Jonghyun’s face brightened up and suddenly -ZOOM! He ran past Key, through the hallway, down the stairs, and bolted outside to meet the mailman.

He jumped up and down with excitement as he waited for the nervous mailman to fumble around with his delivery. Once he found the familiar address on a plain package, Jonghyun pulled it right out of the mailman’s hands and immediately bowed to him.

“Thank you!” was all he belched out before running back to his dorm.

Jonghyun arrived at the dorm only to meet a fleeting Key. Key waved back at him before bolting out the door. “Sorry, Jonghyun! Late for my schedule!”

Jonghyun thought it was weird at first, but the next thing he saw and heard made sense now.

“YAH! KIM KIBUM! YOU PROMISED TO COOK FRIED CHICKEN TODAY!”

Jonghyun shook his head as he heard Onew sulk in the kitchen. He entered his bedroom only to meet a sleeping Taemin on the bottom bunk of the bed. He chuckled and sat on the edge of Taemin’s bed as he began to open the packet and the letter inside it from Nikka. Jonghyun was so excited that he read the content out loud:

Dear Jonghyun,

            Wow, it's so surreal!  I still can't believe you're THE Kim Jonghyun.  No, really, I can't.  I have to say thanks for the DVD, by the way.  I'd ask for your pictures for proof, but that'd be too much.  Man, I'm still undecided whether to believe this is real or not. o_O Right now, I'm trying to figure out my life plan through all these college applications and such. -__- My mind is so hectic lately, I can't tell between reality and surreal fantasies!  If you're really Kim Jonghyun, then yeah, I'd love to hear from you again.  This is actually my first time writing to anyone overseas, so I'm really nervous!  Oh, and also, I believe this'll be sent around Taemin's birthday, so here's a DVD of my own. ;) Make sure Taemin watches it!

Jonghyun cheekily smiled at the paper and looked up, only to screech at 2 faces watching him from a centimeter away.

"What?!  Aish!  You two give me a heart attack!"  complained Jonghyun.

Minho and Taemin continued to watch his every move.  It started to get creepy for the dinosaur boy.  Minho then spoke up.

"Hyung, who's Nikka?"

Jonghyun's ears perked up at her name and he started explaining to the 2 dongsaengs how he read Nikka's letter and even sent a long letter in reply back - in English along with a DVD.  Taemin looked happy as minho's expression was usually unreadable.

Taemin carefully took the DVD from the packet and popped it into Jonghyun's laptop.  All 3 members watched the screen pop up and suddenly see an ordinary tan but Asian girl in glasses, singing Happy Birthday to Taemin in Korean AND in Chinese, which later the video explained how she found out that Taemin's good at learning Chinese.

When the video ended, Taemin started tearing up.  "Nikka noona is so cute~!  Tell her I said thank you, hyung!"  he cried out.  Minho and Jonghyun tried calming the boy down.

After Taemin calmed down, he dressed himself in uniform and went to school.  Now, it's just Onew, Minho, and Jonghyun in the dorm room.  Minho told Onew what Jonghyun did, and all Onew could do was smile.  What Jonghyun didn't know was that Onew's smile was plastic, and deep down the leader felt a little worried for the lead singer.  What if he was writing to a crazy fan?

Onew reversed his thoughts about the fan once he looked at Jonghyun once more.  He dressed up in his regular sleeping outfit and gave the leader a polaroid camera.

"Hyung, since you're good at taking photos, why not take one of me a few times, then we'll develop the photos and send them to her, okay?"

Now Onew and Minho just think both the fan and Jonghyun are crazy.  This Nikka girl still couldn't believe that Jonghyun is who he is, especially with the video he sent out.  Worse, Jonghyun insists on proving that he's the true guy and decides to take pictures to send out to her.

The 2 members ended up taking photos of their bandmate and waited for them to develop.  As soon as Jonghyun was done writing his letter in English and walking out the door, Minho turned to Onew.

"Onew hyung, although Jonghyun hyung has been weird lately, don't you think that this will benefit him?" he asked the leader.

"Eh?  Benefit him?"

"Well, yeah, he's been learning how to read and write in basic English slowly."  Onew was shocked to hear the news.

"WHAT?!  JONGHYUN LEARNING?!?!"

"....yeah I know, that was my first reaction to the whole situation.  Key's happy as well, but he doesn't know Jonghyun's reason to learn English in the first place."

"What was Key's reaction when he found out Jonghyun was learning?"

"He almost burned the kitchen in shock."

"Ah."  And the two members just went on with their day to prepare for their upcoming album.
