A double update, well, Keeper is being nice xD

He glanced once again at his watch, only five minutes passed since he last checked the time. Jin paced back and forth at the arrival area of the airport, waiting for his best friend. Hoards of people strutted towards the exit with their bags and still, there was no sign of her. He left his Donghae hyung with the other members at her apartment, and they were preparing a surprise to welcome her back. However, her flight seems to be taking too long to arrive.

A good 30 minutes passed, and Jin stood there, tapping his foot, his patience about to run out. His phone rang momentarily breaking his train of thoughts. It was his hyung.

“The flight is delayed, hyung. I don’t know how long,” he explained, eyes set on the passengers.

“Oh, its okay. We’ll just heat the food.”

In the background, he could hear the others whining. They were already hungry.

“Hyung, go ahead and eat. Karin will understand,” he said concerned.

“No… we can wait and we are not hungry.” Jin knew that his hyung was only speaking for himself.

His hyung ended the call and Jin was once again on his toes.

“Karin, come here already!” he exclaimed in exasperation.

“Yah, I’m here now!” Jin turned around and saw Karin shooting daggers at him. “Who told you to pick me up anyway?” she asked annoyed.

“Ah, thank goodness, you arrived. I was getting so worried,” Jin evaded the topic and readily took some of her bags.  

They were waiting for a cab, when Karin noticed something odd about him. “Why are you excited?” she eyed him suspiciously.

“Excited? I am not,” he denied, hoping that she would not see past through him.

“Then, why are you trying to hide your smile? You are a bit jumpy too,” she pointed out.

Nervous sweat formed in his temples, his heart rate beyond normal and the tension inside him is going to explode any time soon. Jin just wanted to arrive at her apartment soon for he was having a hard time keeping it a secret from her. Karin knows him very well.

“Oh, okay. I know you are up to something. I’ll find out later,” she said casually, stepping inside the cab.

Jin gaped, not knowing how to counter her. He sent his hyung a message that they were on their way. Rather than spoiling he surprise, Jin sealed his lips shut the entire ride and pretended to have fallen asleep. Karin sniggered inwardly, having fun torturing her best friend.

They must have been preparing for a welcome party and Jin was told to keep it a secret for me. I wonder… what he… is planning.

A bright pink flushed in her cheeks at the thought of her loving boyfriend.

The cab finally made it to a stop, after paying, Jin hurriedly jumped out of the vehicle. He frantically opened the gate and Karin silently laughed at him. Loving playing mind games with her best friend, she walked lazily, dragging her feet. It was driving Jin insane, as he walked in her pace.

After eons for him, they finally reached her doorstep. It was dark inside her apartment, and she couldn’t hide her excitement as well. Jin didn’t waste any time in opening the door. His hyungs must be really starving. The door opened and to his surprise, Karin already stepped inside and opened the lights, even before he could blink his eyes.

Loud popping sounds and cheers exploded inside her living room as the guys of Super Junior welcomed her home. Colorful and bright decorations hung on the ceiling and a sea of blue balloons underneath. A huge banner was plastered on the wall, with the words WELCOME HOME KARIN and CONGRATULATIONS written on it. From where she was standing, she could see the dining table filled with food. It was truly a wonderful surprise.

“Karin!!!” They all surrounded her in a big circle, leaving her boyfriend out once again.

“Congratulations for the two of you!!” Siwon was the first to greet.

“Thank you oppa,” she smiled brightly.

“Are you sure you want to be his girlfriend? You can still change your mind.”
