CHAPTER 29: BREAKFAST
YOUR NO.1 FAN
Karin stood there wondering, what’s he doing here? Snapshots of their movie date came rushing back to her. Fully awake now and blushing, Karin hurriedly went back up to her room.
“I’ll be done any mo-“He looked over his shoulder and she was gone. “Karin?” He then heard a door close upstairs and the sound of water running. He chuckled, “she must have been embarrassed to face me.”
We are like a young couple and I am cooking breakfast for my wife. He giggled as his thoughts led him to dreamland.
The sound of oil crackling and popping got louder and louder taking Donghae back to reality. “Oh no!” He frantically turned off the heat and stared… at the burnt meat.
“What’s wrong?” Donghae quickly turned around and saw Karin. “No-nothing,” he stuttered trying to hide the stove from her view. “Ah, why don’t you wait… for a couple more minutes… and breakfast would be served.” Placing his hands over her shoulders, he gently turned her around and led her to the dining area. Donghae pulled out a chair and made her sit.
Karin looked up at him and said, “it’s okay Fishy… I’ll help you cook breakfast.” Karin simply stood up and walked towards the stove. Taking the pan away, she removed the bacon, or what remains of it. Deep inside, she was falling for him. Cooking breakfast for her is in the top five of what she likes in a guy.
“I’m sorry.” Donghae felt terrible. All he ever wanted was to prepare breakfast for her. He has been planning it since last night. When he and Jin went out to buy the snacks, pillows, candles and bouquet, they also bought clothes for him and food ingredients for his breakfast for her – bacon with omelet
