At the exact moment, Zico was on his way to an unfamiliar looking place. He had been skipping school recently but that didn’t concern him at all. All that kept bothering his mind was the words that came out of a man’s mouth that could be specifically related to him. *Geez. He keeps calling me over. What does he want?*

Every steps he took went slower and slower. Somehow, he couldn’t bring himself to confront the man. Zico halted to a stop and let out an exasperated sigh, “Dammit. Why do I have a bad feeling when I come up to him after this? I just can’t bring myself to meet that guy. Should I just…leave?” He glanced at the previous path he took which was the way back to the school. Basically, he was right in the middle of a thick forest. A creepy forest.

It was silent. There was no sign of animals roaming around the place and it would just give someone a big, terrifying shiver. “I suggest that you should confront him. It’s for your own good.” A voice said from behind. As a reflex, Zico turned around only to be greeted by the previous guy that watched you and L having your touching reunion. “Tch. What are you doing here? Must be because of that old man’s order, huh?” Zico hissed with a disgusted look on his face.

“Yes, master’s an old man but he doesn’t look like one.” The guy pointed out in a somewhat defending voice. “Yeah, sure, whatever. Nevertheless, I won’t go anyways.” Zico rolled his eyes. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you. He needs to tell you something important.” The man advised. “Something important?” Zico slowly furrowed his eyebrows.

“Exactly. It’s about that human girl.”

His body tensed up upon hearing those precarious words, “Why are you bringing ~~~~~ up?” “Well, who knows? Master has taken a liking towards her. She’s interesting.” The guy smirked in amusement. “DON’T HURT HER.” Zico snapped as his eyes started turning into bloody red. He just knew that whenever that man wanted to bring someone to him, that person won’t be assured to come out alive. “Hmm. Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee that since mast—”

Before he could even finish his words, Zico had already slammed him against a tree extremely hard, “I SAID DON’T YOU EVER HURT HER!” By the looks of it, Zico was ready to attack him but this wasn’t the right time to do that. The mysterious guy grabbed Zico’s arm and yanked it away, “Look. I don’t have time to fight with you since master’s waiting for you. I don’t want him to waste his time to wait for such a useless kid like you. And overall, he’s your father. You wouldn’t want to disappoint your father, would you?”

Zico’s jaw tightened *.*

Reluctantly, Zico loosened his grip on him and glared at his father’s slave, “He’s not my father and I’ll kill you if you touch ~~~~~.” “Wow. You really love that human, don’t you? I wonder what’s so special about her.” He smirked. “There’s no need for you to know, Sang Min.” Zico gritted his teeth, controlling himself from doing something reckless. Sang Min cackled, “But I need to know. Master wants to meet her after all.” With rounded eyes, Zico intently stared at Sang Min in disbelief, “What are you planning to do?! Don’t you—”

“Calm down, Jiho—” His sentence was cut off when Zico snarled at him, “DON’T YOU DARE CALL MY NAME WITH YOUR FILTHY MOUTH.”

Sang Min sighed, obviously he was tired of this, “Fine then. But I need to tell you something. You should see master—” “I don’t want to see him.” Zico firmly replied, sending a glare full of daggers. “Sure, you can do that but…on one condition: we’ll take the girl.” Sang Min sneered, practically enjoying the moment since he knew he was winning.

*Dammit.* Zico bit his lip. He had no choice this time. Either he would choose to obey or disobey however with a condition that he wouldn’t want to accept. After what seemed like forever, Zico gave in, “I’ll meet him but don’t lay your hands on her or you might regret it.” “As you wish, master.” Sang Min sarcastically bowed with his well-known leer.

“Now follow me.” Sang Min jumped into the air and landed on a big branch of a tree. “I can go there by myself.” Zico hissed, not forgetting to send those deadly glares of his. “Well, suit yourself then.” Sang Min shrugged and dashed forward like a vampire would do. In no time, he was out of Zico’s eyesight.

*I just hope that they would keep their promise.* Zico worriedly looked ahead before darting off forward just like Sang Min did just now.

On their way to the destination, Sang Min smirked secretly *I wouldn’t really keep that crappy promise. Sorry, Jiho but master wants that girl no matter what.*
