Weeks had passed. Soon it was Saturday.

You were spending your time with your best friend, Hyo Won.

That night, you spent your time outside of your house. You were too focused on forming a huge snowman with the snow balls that Hyo Won had created earlier.

The main door clicked open. Your head shot up, facing the main door that was slightly opened. Hyo Won suddenly popped up, “~~~~~! Are you done?”

You shook your head, “No.” Hyo Won pouted, “But it’s already 7 pm!”

“I’m okay, Hyo Won-ah. Don’t worry.” You absent-mindedly assured her since you were too preoccupied in building the snowman you were planning to create.

“Okay then. But don’t catch a cold!” She warned and closed the door. You shook your head over Hyo Won’s ‘umma’ sides.

An hour had passed and you were still outside, attempting to build your so-called-project but it failed dejectedly.

You frowned, crestfallen. You gave up and sat down on the cold and thick white snow. *I worked hard for this thing.*

You spent your time sitting down on the ground, rocking yourself from side to side. But that didn’t last long though since someone interrupted you.

“Aren’t you cold?”

Instantaneously, you shot up when you perceived that Zico was already in front of you, looking at you queerly. You gasped, startled that a handsome boy was in front of you.

“Just what are you doing? Sitting on the cold ground?” Zico raised his brow.

You laughed sheepishly while rubbing your palms to provide heat. “Now, would you mind telling me?” Zico said.

“Oh? Um…how should I say this…” You bit your bottom lip from being jittery. Your nervous glance shifted towards the so-called-snowman that was miserably ruined.

Zico followed your gaze as his mouth trailed off into a sigh, “What the heck is this?”

“Umm…snowman?” You replied, unsure whether it was a snowman or a snow monster.

“Pfft.” You heard a muffled sound.

“Were you laughing…?” Cautiously, you peeked at him. Zico gloated at you, “No.”

“Oh.” You replied simply, not knowing what to say next. “Why are you trying so hard to build this crap?” He folded his arms while examining the ‘snowman’ up and down.

You looked at your creation, “I was bored so I thought this might be a good thing to kill some time.” “Hah. Let me correct you. It’s not a good thing. This thing is useless.” Zico made a face.

“Hey! It’s my creation! Don’t you dare to insult it! You stupid…” You fumed but instantly stopped since you couldn’t find the right words to describe him.

Zico furrowed his eyebrows, waiting for your come back. “You…” Your eyebrows pinched together as you were lost in finding the right words.

*Stupid? No, he’s not stupid.* You stared at him. *Annoying? Yeah, he is but it doesn’t seem to suit him.*

Zico waited for you patiently since he had found your silliness as an amusing thing to watch.

“You…” You pointed at him, still searching for the words. “How long will you take to find those ridiculous words?” He smirked, obviously entertained.

And that was it.

“You stupid round-headed ugly monster!” You exclaimed loudly even though you never expected that you would say those kinds of words. The words somehow came out automatically without you noticing.

Zico was surprisingly a bit taken aback. His eyes turned wider than usual as his mouth was slightly swung open.

After turning back into his cool stance, he pointed at you as his lips were somewhat puckered up, “Y-you…what did you just say?”

You covered your mouth with both of your hands as a small gasp came out of your mouth before cupping it. *Uh oh.*

He took a step forward, “Stupid?” You did the same thing but only this time, your step went backward.

“Round-headed?” He continued as he took another step forward again but this time, big.

“Ugly monster? What the hell?” He strode over to you while you scrambled off to any other direction as a reflex. He chased after you, “Come back here!”

“No! I didn’t mean to say that! I’m sorryyyyyyyyyy!” You begged as you ran faster, hoping that he won’t be able to catch you.

“You better come back here, woman!” Zico grew beyond furious.

Soon, the two of you fell onto the ground, clearly exhausted. Panting hard, sweating a lot.

“Gah…I’m so stupid.” Zico touched his forehead, still breathing heavily.

“Why?” You curiously peered at him. “Since I chased after you. How can I waste my energy chasing after a girl?” He squeezed his eyes close.

You let out a small giggle. He softened right after hearing your melodious voice.

“I think it’s worth it after all…” You mumbled inattentively. Zico turned to you, “What’s worth it?”

You snapped out of your thoughts when you realized that you had just blabbered out your thoughts absent-mindedly.

“N-no! I didn’t say anything! F-forget it!” You waved your hands in the air as Zico threw you a weird look but eventually turned ahead back.

You heaved a relieved sigh and smiled happily. *This is the most precious moment I’ve ever had.*

Spending a quality time with someone was not that bad after all.
