The Real Kim Myungsoo
The Monster That Steals Her Heart------------------------------------------------------------
The next day, as usual, you made your way to school while preoccupying your mind with the incident yesterday. Where had Zico gone to yesterday? And where could L be? All of these had become a great mystery for you to uncover.
At last, the answer to your questions unlocked as you spotted a familiar black-haired guy hidden behind a big willow tree and bushes outside the school building. Curiosity took over you as you trailed behind him secretly. Attending school was no longer your main option. You couldn’t really catch a glimpse of his face since his back was facing you.
In the midst of following him behind, he suddenly halted and slowly turned his head around. You let out a small gasp and swiftly hid behind an old-looking big tree before he could see you. He looked around but found no one around and heaved a relieved sigh. *For a second, I thought someone was following me.*
He continued walking forward and you sneakily tip-toed behind, afraid that you might be caught. After a cautious 5 minutes, he stopped in front of six gorgeous and breath-taking guys that were somewhat waiting for him. He shifted his gaze upward to the boys and you could see his familiar side profile. You gasped when you realized that he was your best friend, Kim Myungsoo.
You assumed that those pretty guys were his friends since they looked like one. They started having a conversation but somehow the fact that L meeting his ‘friends’ in a creepy place like this made you wonder why. As they were busy talking, you moved closer to listen to their conversation. For short, you were trying to eavesdrop.
After a minute or two, you found yourself hiding behind a big and tall tree near the boys. Luckily for you, their voice could be clearly heard. A guy with a small eyes started, “Myungsoo, you know you should accomplish this mission.” You raised a brow. *A…mission?*
“I know but I need some time to do that.” L said in a low voice that could faintly be heard. “But the time is almost over, Myungsoo—” “Sunggyu hyung, stop already. We know the time is approaching but we need to give him some time too.” A well-built guy voiced out, putting his hand on Sunggyu’s shoulder. Sunggyu sighed, “Sorry but I just can’t take it anymore. When will you plan to kill him?”
L paused for a brief moment and kept his stare at Sunggyu. *That’s right. When will I kill him? I’ve never ever thought about that.* “Hyung, you should hurry up because if you don’t, Sunggyu hyung will be the one that’s going to take the punishment.” A cute guy with his plump lips said in a low tone. Although it sounded a bit demanding, he still tried to show his respect to the elders with the way he talked.
L sighed, “I know. I’ll try but I can’t guarantee you though.” They nodded in response. “You should think before you do anything because he’s not a mortal. He can bring you down whenever he wants to.” The earlier guy warned. You grew confused by the time. *Who are they talking about? He’s not a…mortal? Is it Jiho oppa?*
You shook your head at the negative thoughts. *No way. Myungsoo oppa is not a bad guy.* You convinced but deep down inside, the doubt remained still. Soon, they left L but not before Sunggyu giving him a reminder, “Remember, Myungsoo. You’re a vampire hunter.”
Just by the sensitive word, those doubts grew bigger inside you as you mumbled to yourself with a shocked expression masking your pale face, “Vampire…hunter?”
Soon, everything clicked inside your head.
Was this the real Kim Myungsoo?
