Angel
Wrong LoveYou planned it out perfectly and were putting your plan into action right away. You begged Hyun Joo to take over the upper chores for you. She agreed right away, wondering what was up with you, but somehow deep down she knew. You headed to the kitchen to get your first bait and then you headed to Hero’s office more determined then ever. You knocked on the door.
“Yes?” Hero responded.
“It’s ~~~….me,” you muttered lightly. Hero did not speak but you heard movement from inside the room. There was the sound of stuff being set down and the light shuffling of feet. Suddenly, the door swung open and Hero’s face seemed as if he was surprised you had come to him, but it looked mischievous at the same time.
“What?” he stuttered a bit dumbfounded.
“Can I come in?” you asked. Hero stepped aside and let you in. You bit your lip and pulled on your shirt nervously once you were in the room, with one arm hidden from Hero. Hero stepped in front of you and looked at you. You stared up at him with a bit of fear in your eyes, but tried to hide it, unsuccessfully. You took a couple steps back. *What is up with her?* Hero thought waiting for you to talk. But you didn’t talk. You simply bowed and held it there.
Hero stepped back in shock, “Huh?”
“I am sorry!” you shouted still bowing. Hero’s eyes softened slightly as he looked at you, but realized what he was doing so quickly shook it off.
Hero saw you were still bowing and asked, “For what?”
You straightened up, “For being rude. I can’t imagine how much… I hurt you but I am sorry.” You didn’t make eye contact, lying wasn’t one of your strong suits. Hero didn’t know what to say. So he just stood there. You finally got the courage to look up and you saw Hero not moving. *What is he doing? Did he figure out the lie.* you thought. “Ah…Hello?” you said waving your hand in front of Hero’s face.
He shook his head, “I…” he trailed off, not sure what was going on.
He turned and started to head towards his desk, but you stopped him. “Umm… excuse me.” Hero turned back. “I know you probably can’t forgive me now but I promise you soon I will repay you.” Hero looked at you suspiciously.
“I might…” he said and turned back to his desk.
You tilted your head, “You might what?”
“I might never be able to forgive you.” He stated coldly. *I should of known he wouldn’t change his mind so easily.* You stood in the same spot, trying to decide if he meant you could go or not. Hero sat down and looked up at you. “You can go… ~~~~~.”
“Yes sir…” you bowed. Hero was busy at work already. You smiled and bowed again, “Yes sir. Thank you!” you quickly ran out of the room, but before you left completely, you set a small box on a table near the door.
Hero looked over his papers at the door, and smiled slightly, then scowled. He saw the small box sitting by the door that you had left and looked at it questionably. He got up and walked over to pick up the box. It was in a white box with a pink bow tied on it, with a note that said, Sorry. Hero stared at it, *she was not this apologetic a few years ago, she probably just wants me to let her go so she can go back to her ‘lover’.* Hero tossed the card to the side and opened the box. Inside the box there were several small, mildly burnt cookies. *Now this is the So Eun I knew, couldn’t cook and still can’t. Pff and I thought she had changed.* He bit into one expecting it to be horrible, but unlike it’s appearance, it was delicious. Hero couldn’t help but smile, “This is how it should be. My servant cooking for me.” He looked up and suddenly realized his heartbeat, *Stupid old feelings! That’s all they are!* he tried to prove to himself.
You leaned against the door as soon as you got out, “Get him to trust me more. Check!” you smiled and headed towards Hyun Joo. *Now I Just need to wait!*
Not much to say. What do you think you are going to do? I hope you look forward to the next chapter. PLEASE COMMENT!
