Nichkhun POV

She busy sketching when I reach her office. I hover behind her shoulder, peering over what she was drawing.

“Wow. It looks cool.” 

She turn around in surprise.

“You’re fast.”

“That’s because you’re too focused to know that five minutes just passed by like two minutes ago.” I smile.

“Sit.”

I sat down in someone else’s chair. Oh well, they won’t mind would they?

“What are you drawing?”

“Hmm. Just some kitchen stuff.”

“Like?”

She flip her sketch for me to see.

“Here is the kitchen counter. The sink is right here.”

She explained the drawings in her pictures for me to understand. I wouldn’t mind to have a kitchen design like her sketch. Maybe I can keep it for our future home. She can design our kitchen for us.

“Wow. It’s nice.”

“I don’t know if director will like it.” She frown.

“That just means you have to work harder.”

“I guess.”

I watch her sketch on her sketch pad throughout the whole entire time. How time flies by so fast when you’re so into something.

Her team members came back from lunch.

“Oh my gosh. Did you see that lady?”

“I can’t believe she had the guts to do that!” the lady who greeted us earlier exploded with her loud voice.

“Can’t you two do something else besides gossiping?”

“Uh no? We’re ladies. Ladies love to gossip.”

Victoria look up from her sketch pad, greeting her team members.

“You guys are back.”

The guy greeted her back but the lady who greeted us this morning was giving Victoria some glares and I didn’t like it. She instantly change when she notice me sitting next to my wife.

“Omo. When did you come?” she asked in an annoying voice.

“When you guys left for lunch.”

“Why didn’t you join us?”

“No thanks.” I politely reply back with a nice tone.

“I’ll see you later.” I kiss Victoria on the cheek before stepping out of the room.

I don’t know why I kissed her on the cheek but I did. Was it because I wanted to make that lady piss? Yes, I believe so.

Victoria POV

Nichkhun kissed me on the cheek? I can feel my face getting hot.

“Yah. Who is he to you?” Amy asked with her screeching voice.

“Huh?” I turn to look at Amy.

“Is he like your boyfriend or what?”

“No, not my boyfriend?”

“Your brother?”

I smile.

“Is he single? Can you hook us up?”

“Well… he’s my husband…”

“Really? W-what?! Y-your h-h-husband?”

I nodded my head with a smile.

“H-how c-can that be?”

I merely shrug.

“Get back to work.” Director say as he walk in.

We all turn to our desk, busying ourself with our drawings.

“Pss.” Amy whisper to me.

“Hm?”

“How long have you two been married?”

“Not long. 2 months?”

“2 months?!”

“Somewhere along that line.”

“You got to be kidding me.”

I ignore Amy the rest of the day. She and I aren’t in such a good condition because she’s trying to hit on my husband.

Nichkhun was already waiting in the lobby for me when I got off work. He wave and smile at me. I blush. Everyone was staring at us. Some were shock while others were jealous.

“How was work?” he ask on our way to the restaurant.

“It’s okay.”

We were quiet the rest of the way there. Nichkhun took me to a Chinese restaurant located fifteen minutes drive away from my work place.

“Order whatever you want. It’s on me.” He smile.

“B-but I thought I was to treat us tonight?”

“I change my mind. Since today’s your first day, I’ll let you treat next time when you have money.”

I smile. “Okay.”

I couldn’t decide what to order because most of the food on the list were foods I haven’t eaten since my return from China.

“Are you ready to order?” the waitress ask us.

“Are you ready?” Nichkhun ask me.

“I don’t know what to pick…” I bit my lips as I tried to decide.

“We’ll get everything on the menu.” Nichkhun smile.

“Okay. Your order will up in a few minutes.”

I stare at Nichkhun with my shocking eyes.

“Everything?” I repeated.

He nodded his head.

“B-but we won’t be able to finish them all.”

He shrug.

“You couldn’t decided so I decided to get everything therefore you have to eat them all.” He smile.

“Me finish it all by myself?”

He nodded his head. My mouth drop open. How in the world am I suppose to finish all of the dishes?
