Act 01 - Running Late

He was running late to work because he over slept. It has never happen before in his life. Why today instead of any other days?

He shove all his paper works into his bag, dashing for the door.

"Son. Where are you going?"
 
"I'm late to a meeting." he say as he was trying to put his shoes on.

"But you haven't eaten."

"I'll eat when I get there. I'm leaving!" he call out as he left.

"That son.." she say as she was shaking her head in disappointment.

Her alarm activated, ringing louder and louder. She lazily reach out to shut her alarm up. After succeeding to turn it off, she went back to sleep.

"Stupid.. alarm.." she murmur.

She was getting comfortable until she was disturb by her best friend, Krystal.

"Wake up Lazy. It's already 10 AM. Didn't you say you have an interview today?"

"Hmm.." she murmur again.

Krystal shook her head as she close the door behind her.

Slowly waking up from her sleep, she stretch her hands out. Realizing what Krystal just said, she pop her eyes open.

"I'm late!"

She got out of bed in a rush. She was dress in her formal clothing, dashing for the door.

"Why didn't you wake me up any sooner?!"

"It's not like you would care." Krystal remark.

"We need a talk after I return!" Victoria call out.

"Sure. Whatever you want!" Krystal yell back.

VIctoria look at her watch, time was 10:30 AM. She was 30 minutes late for her interview.

"I hate myself. Stupid! stupid me!"
