Act 09 - Angry Nickhun

Victoria walk into Mr.Horvejkul's company.

"Did you decide yet?"

"Yes sir, I have. I'm willing to marry your son on one condition."

"Name it."

Nickhun was engross with his work that he didn't know it was already lunch time. Of course, he never skips his meal on a daily basis even if he's really busy or not. He didn't want to hear his mother nagging about him being skinny and all.

He pick up his phone which was vibrating.

"Hello?"

"Son, are you free today?"

"Why?"

"I want you to meet someone."

"Okay. Where?"

Nickhun went to the location that his father told him over the phone.

He walks into the restaurant to be greeted by a waitress.

"Welcome sir."

He nod his head. The waitress lead him to where his father was.

Opening the door, he was surprise to see that lady in there.

'Why is she here?' he thought.

Mr.Horvejkul excuse himself to go use the restroom. She sat down, observing the area. She's never been to a restaurant like this before.

Bored, she took out her phone to play with. She was curious to know who his son was. Was she making the correct choice by agreeing to marry his son?

What if he's not handsome? All of those questions came to her mind.

No, she couldn't back down when she's already decided.

Hearing the door slide open, she looks up.

She was surprise to see him. What is he doing here?

"You!" she yell.

"And it's you." he wave his hand taking his seat across from her.

"Yah. What are you doing here? You don't belong in this room."

"Really? And who are you?'

"I'm here to meet my fian-."

She pause before saying the word fiance.

Why do I have to tell him about my life? He's a nobody.

"You don't need to know."

"Not like I'm interested." he carry on.

Victoria couldn't believe him. He has so many issues with him.

Nickhun couldn't believe he's talking to her. She has such a short temper.

He ignore her as he sat waiting for his father, wherever he was.

Right than his father walk in.

"Sorry for letting you kids wait."

He took a seat next to Nickhun.

"Dad, why is she here?" he ask him as he was staring right at Victoria.

'D-dad? H-he's the guy I'm to marry?' Victoria thought.

This can't be. Mr.Horvejkul is such a nice guy. How in the world did he bring up such a nuisance son?

"I invited you here to meet your wife." he plainly say it out.

"My what?!"

Nickhun went into a rampage.

His wife? She's his wife? What is going on here.

"Dad, what are you talking about? Stop joking with me."

"I'm serious son."

'This can't be..' he thought.

He didn't like her one tad bit. She was annoying. To be frank, her whole face annoys him. He can't stand her.

"How can you do this without my permission?" Nickhun started to argue back.

"Do I need your permission? Last time I check, I was still your father."

"Dad!" he whine.

"You are to be wedded with her by the end of this month regardless." he firmly say.

Nickhun couldn't argue any further. Once his father makes a decision, he sticks to it til the end.

Throughout the meal, Nickhun stayed quiet. He didn't want to speak with either of them two. No, he choose not to speak with them. He was angry at his father for making such a decision without his acknowledgement.

Victoria enjoy her meal dispite the fact that she was eating with him.

"Everything will go as I plan. You don't have to worry about anything."

"Yes sir." she reply back politely.

She liked him. He reminds her of her own father who she dearly misses.

After finishing their meal, Mr.Horvejkul left in a hurry leaving Nickhun and Victoria alone.

"You must be happy." he angrily remark.

"I can't believe you're his son. Now I feel sorry for him. He's brought up a bad son. I wonder if he notice that?" Victoria added.

"WHAT?!" Nickhun exploded.

Victoria look at her watch.

"Well I'm done here."

She got up ready to leave when Nickhun slam his hand onto the table.

Victoria made a small jump because of his unexpected anger.

"You're messing with the wrong person." he angrily say.

"Am I?"

"I'll make sure to give you a painful marriage." he smirk at her and left.

Victoria stood where she was, in shock.

Did he really mean it or was he just joking?

"Chi, I'm not joking with her. I don't like her one bit." Nickhun angrily told himself.

"I'll make her regret for marrying me." he smile happily at that thought.
