You and Daesung had officially being dating for 3 weeks and being completely honest, you where starting to feel ok with this situation. Dae was behaving like the perfect gentleman, he didn’t even have tried to kiss you in all this time, and he just kissed you in the forehead and told you that he will wait until you were ready.

You felt that this was a different Daesung, the smiling angel had change in front of you, he still remain his usual self, but deep down you knew something had change inside of him; it was like he was starting to show another side of him that he had kept hiding all this years. He was being more bold with you, he was showing you how strong he could be but at the same time how loving and caring he could be the next minute.

You were waiting for Daesung to come pick you up to go to grab dinner with the guys, this would be the first time all of you will hang out together after you decided to give Dae a chance. You kept checking yourself in the mirror, thinking that something was off but you couldn’t put your finger on it. You simply sighed and though: “What in the world is going on Sun Hi? Is just the guys, is not like I’m meeting someone new for crying out loud”

You heard a car parking outside and you knew that Dae had just arrived to pick you up. You grab your keys, purse and took a last glance on the mirror “Let’s go Sun Hi”, you headed to the door before Dae could ring the doorbell, you open up but someone you weren’t expecting was on the other side of the door.

“Seung Hyun-ah, what are you doing here? Weren’t we supposed to meet at Young Bae Oppa’s place?” you said while trying to hide the shock your friend had giving you.

To be completely honest, the moment you decide to date Dae, an invisible wall was place between Seung Hyun and you. You were drifting apart as days went by and the gap was starting to get wider and wider between you two.  You felt it and where 100% sure that Seung Hyun was aware of this fact, but neither of you took the initiative to talk about it, both of you just let it happen.

“Yes, but Dae called me when I was still at work, to ask me if I could pick you up instead of him. His car won’t start, so he was waiting for the mechanic to arrived to his place and see what’s wrong. He told me he will go later to Bae’s house but that he didn’t want to keep you waiting for him. So i grabed a taxi and came here” Seung Hyun said while scratching the back of his neck, you could see he was feeling awkward in this situation.

“Well that’s so like Dae. Arasso, don’t worry, let me just grab my car keys and we will be on our way” you replied going back in and taking your car keys. You couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of your 26 year old friend looking like a child because he didn’t knew had to drive.

“Why are you laughing Sun Hi?” he snap at you even though he already knew the answer.

“I just think is funny that after all this time, you still can’t drive Seung Hyun-ah. I mean I’m 2 years younger and I have to drive you around” you said while smirking a bit, an old habit you had pick up from Seung Hyun.

“I knew you were going to say that, but can’t help it, I’m not made to drive one of these things” he said while giving a small punch to your car.

“Be nice, otherwise you are walking to Young Bae Oppa’s place. Common let’s get going, I don’t want to arrived after they order the food and I’m stuck eating cold noodles for the 11^th time” you replied while getting into your car and starting the engine.

Seung Hyun made his way in, buckle up his seatbelt and you started driving. It was a 35min drive from your place to Young Bae, but as soon as the ride starts you felt a tense and awkward atmosphere developing. In the past this will never happen, because usually Seung Hyun would already turn on the radio and starting to sing in his particular way to the songs that where being played. You loved that goofy side of him, he always did it because you always tend to worry when you drive after the accident you had with Nari, and so he always tried to get your mind off those things.

But this time was different, no goofing around, just a dead silence surround you. You where trying to think on what to say, but before you could open up your mouth someone else beat you to it.

“So, how is the dating boy behaving? Is he being nice or do I need to show him a lesson?” Seung Hyun asked out of the blue and left you in a bit of a shock.

You didn’t want to touch the topic, you knew the guys were going to drill you with questions the minute you arrived, but you didn’t expect that he will be the one asking. You clear up your throat before replying.

“It has being nice. I mean is not like a lot of things have change, after all we spend most of our time together since we share the same classes, but is like he is showing me a side that I haven’t seen before”

“That’s nice of him. I’m glad that he is behaving well” Seung Hyun replied but toughed “at least he is making you smile”

“Yes, well its Dae after all, he wouldn’t even hurt a fly” you said while trying to smile.

“That’s true, the only one violent here is you after all” Seung Hyun said and you could tell by the tone of his voice that he was regretting even asking and was trying to change the topic as fast as he could.

“Yah! I’m not violent, I just like to express my opinions in a more physical way” you replied trying to keep the conversation going.

“Look who is talking, if you call that expressing your opinions, I don’t want to see what you will do when you are truly piss off” Seung Hyun replied.

“You sure as hell don’t want to see me angry Seung Hyun”

“I bet you transform into a sibling of Godzilla and then is every man for themselves” he replied and you could hear his honest laugh.

You miss this, the fighting, his idiotic ways of making you smile, his laugh, but most of all you miss him. The minute you say yes to Dae, you started to try to shut off your heart every lingering feeling you had for your once best friend. You hated yourself by doing so, but you kept telling yourself this will be the only way to keep on going.

“Do you want to walk to Bae’s place? Because if you keep at it I’m going to kick you out off my car” you said trying to keep this idiotic fight going because you knew that your heart needs this.

“I would like to see your little self trying to do that. The minute you got off the car, I will just lock you out and take the car myself” he replied.

“And let you destroy my car into a light post? Thanks but I think I’ll pass”

“Ha!! I won” he replied and starts to giggle. Gosh that goofy laugh always cheers you up no matter what.

“Seung Hyun, when will you act like your age?” you replied while glancing at your friends smile.

“When I don’t have any other alternative. So I plan to be a kid forever” he replied. He always said the same thing.

You arrived to Young Bae’s house, turn off the car and for your surprise Seung Hyun got quickly off the car before you could unbuckle your seatbelt. “He is an idiot, but I sure miss this, I miss us being like this. Why can’t I have you with me like this forever”   you said to yourself. But soon a knock on your window brought you back to reality.

“Yah! Sun Hi are you planning to live in your car? Palli get out now” Seung Hyun said.

You got off the car, took your purse and went up to ring the doorbell. You knew Seung Hyun was standing close behind you, but you didn’t have the strength to look at him. It was like all the fun time you had in the car ended the minute he got off. “Guess this is what I get”.

Soon Jiyong came to open the door, but Seung Hyun got left behind while taking off his shoes. He was just finishing taking his shoe, took a glance at you and said: “damn it, I miss this girl more that I let myself believe, guess this is what I get”
