✻ Park Eun Mi the nerdy heroine
Once a cheerful and bubbly orphan, she doubted herself when it came to self-confidence and always worried about the smallest details. When her best friend left, Eun Mi was alone. She turned into the wall flower, the ice princess, the nerdy high schooler. Now a silent and no longer upbeat girl, she hid her true feelings behind her nerd glasses and locked the pain inside her. A/N: Ulzzang used is Kim Shin Yeong.

Also known as Seohyun, she is like Eun Mi's sister, her guardian angel, her twin. The only different seperating her from Eun Mi is that she excels in everything she does; from math to writing to playing the piano, she was good at it all. A bright, optimistic, and clever girl who everybody loves, she committed suicide when her parents told her she was moving permantly to America because she didn't want to leave Eun Mi behind. 

 ✻ Lee Byunghun  the kingka

Also known as L.Joe, he is one of the Kingkas at Namsan High. Confident in his looks and talents of rapping and composing, he is of course annoyed when Changjo decides to come and become his so called 'rival'. When Eun Mi provokes him, he challenges her to a bet: whoever wins the Namsan High School Talent Show can order the loser around for a week. An old school bet, but he looks forward to having her as a slave. 
 

 ✻ Choi Jonghyun the understanding one

Also known as Changjo, he is Eun Mi's friend from her blog site with the username Black Angel. His mother made him switch schools so he would be seperated from his dance team and stop dancing. He becomes her first friend after Seohyun left and she feels comfortable and safe when she confides in him. He also has his own fangirls at Namsan High and L.Joe isn't very fond of him for stealing his fangirls, but is that really the only reason for their rivalry?

 ✻ Choi Sooyoung  the other best friend

Changjo's sister, she becomes Eun Mi's second friend and she has lots of fun with her. A dancer like her younger brother, she loves fashion and is highly popular amongst the guys at Namsan High, another trait that is so similar to Seohyun. This shikshin loves food and likes to bother Eun Mi at work to spend more time with her (and possibly get some free food). Sooyoung admires Eun Mi because of her strengths and hidden talents and she wants to convince her that she really is special.

 ✻ Teen Top  the dorks kingkas 

Consisting of L.Joe, Chunji, C.A.P., Niel, and Ricky, Changjo later manages to join this group of Kingkas somehow. About 99% of the entire student body worships or idolizes them. They know how to sing, rap, and dance pretty well too. Eun Mi finds them annoying and arrogant at first, but once she see the more friendly side of them, she become quite fond of them. These boys have a tight-knit bond with each other and she is jealous of them. 

 ✻ YoonYulSica  the queenkas

Jessica, the head Queenka, used to be friends with Seohyun when she was little because their parents knew each other. But after a few incidents with Eun Mi and Seohyun, Jessica turned to Yoona and Yuri and they began to bully the two. Jessica has an older brother, Jaejoong, but she doesn't talk to him much and he goes to a different school.
