Narrator’s POV

Kai realized what he was doing; he immediately let go of her.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t~”

Eunsoo shook her head and looked at him.

“Don’t be, Kai.”

Kai looked at her.

“I’m…..willing to…give us a chance.” She smiled and gripped his hand lightly.

Kai smiled and wrapped his arms around her.

“Thank you, Choi Eunsoo.”

Kai arrived at the park and found Eunsoo talking with Kris and Suho.

“Where’s your tail?” Luhan chuckled. Kai gave him a look and plopped beside Eunsoo.

Eunsoo gave him a small smile before continuing her chat with the two.

“Are you going to ignore me now?” He chided. He heard Eunsoo chuckle and she faced him.

“Mwo?”

Kai smiled and pinched her cheek.

Lay’s brows rose.

“Don’t tell me…”

Everyone looked at him.

“The reason why you two were late…..”

Kai smirked. Eunsoo panicked.

“Oppa! There’s a bug on your shirt!” Eunsoo shrieked and pointed on Kyungsoo’s red plaid shirt.

“Eunsoo?” Lay raised one brow at her. Eunsoo puffed her cheeks.

“Yes hyung, we’re dating.” Kai nodded. Eunsoo shoved him aside.

Everyone laughed.

“Finally, I’ve been waiting for that.” Lay nodded and patted his cousin’s cheek. Eunsoo’s jaws dropped.

“I thought you were going to reprimand me, Yixing ge.”

Lay smiled and pushed her.

“Go back to Kai, stop annoying me.”

“You’re being mean.”

Your POV

“Smooth move, Jongin.”

I heard Kai laugh as he pushed the door open. We were inside a mart to buy some snacks, since the others were too lazy.

“What do you plan to eat?” He asked.

“Ice cream.” I nodded, I felt his on mine as we walked to the frozen section.

“Kai?”

“Hm?”

“Why…did…you choose to like..me?”

Kai smiled at her question and faced her.

“Because you’re this girl who made me doubt myself, that’s why.”

Eunsoo smiled.

“And….you’re not exactly not hard to fall for.” He chuckled and playfully poked her nose.

“Cheesy, playboy ajusshi.”

“YA!”

Eunsoo chuckled and took his hand.

“I want ice cream, now.”

Kai laughed and gave her a nod.
