Narrator’s POV

“I thought you like him, why are you avoiding him?” Kai asked.

“Because, I know that no matter how hard I try to explain to him, he’s not going to understand me.”

“If he loves you Eunsoo, he will. Just talk to him~”

“That’s not how it works Kai. ”

“Isn’t everything the same? You fall in love~”

“I know. But we’re a different a case.”

Kai bit his lip. He saw a few girls wink at him.

“Come on, let’s talk while eating.”

They walked to the cafeteria.

“Define, different case.”

“He’s the crown prince, we’re dating secretly.” Eunsoo said.

“So, you should fight for your relationship.”

“I am, but he wants to get married, I cant do that.”

Kai nodded.

“He’s in a rush to get married so that he wont have to get tied to the royal girl.” Kai rubbed his chin.

Eunsoo sighed.

Kai looked up and saw Hoya walk in with his friends.

“I’ll….”

“What?” Eunsoo looked up.

“Things between us are unclear right now, I don’t even know how to talk to him anymore. He claims that he cant understand me. But he doesn’t even listen to me.” Eunsoo looked at her food. Kai nodded.

“I get your point, Soo.”

“Of course you do, you’re a playboy.”

Kai flicked his bread at her. Eunsoo chuckled and shook her head.

“So, what do you plan to do?” Kai asked.

“Right now…..I want to rest.”

“I didn’t mean it that way.” Kai crossed his legs.

“Right now, I just hope that Hoya would hear me out.” She replied.

Kai nodded and looked down. He was running out of words. He fully got what she meant, but why wont her boyfriend listen to her?

Besides, they were still university seniors, why does the crown prince want to get married in a rush?

Eunsoo had a point. They were still young. They still have things yet to discover.

“Don’t you have a date to go to or something?” Eunsoo looked at him.

“Well, YOU pulled me here.” Kai smirked at her. He chuckled as Eunsoo shoved him away.

“Go then, I don’t want to get killed by your girls.” She chuckled and left.

Kai watched her as she left. He smiled gently.

Then he felt someone standing behind him.

“What do you want with her?” Hoya asked.

Kai looked at him, he was a little amused.

“What do you mean?”

“I know what you are, Kai. Don’t hang out with her.”

“Eunsoo and I are just friends, Hoya.” Kai replied.

“I know what you’re trying to do. She’s not the type~”

“You shouldn’t start talking about her with me, you’re the one who can’t understand her.” Kai said before turning his back to him.

“She’s my girlfriend Kai.” Hoya said.

Kai faced him.

“I never said she wasn’t.”
