Chapter 31
The One For Me
Your POV
I walked down for breakfast and found Kai and Chanyeol oppa eating with Tao ge.
“It’s a Saturday, you’re up early.” Tao gege grinned.
“Of course, Lay ge’s coming back today.” I nodded.
“Good morning, Soo.” Yeol oppa said as I sat down.
“Ge did you cook?” I asked.
“You love your house, why would I burn it down?” He pinched my cheek.
“Good point, ge.”
I looked at Kai.
“You look like…you didn’t get any sleep.” He pointed out.
“I did sleep well, I just had…some homework.” I nodded.
“Yeah right.”
I gave him a look. Kai just chuckled.
Narrator’s POV
Chanyeol and Tao exchanged meaningful smiles as the two continued to bicker.
“Mei?”
“Hmm?” Eunsoo looked at Tao.
“We’re picking Lay ge now, you can go out.”
“But I told him~”
“Just go out with Kai today or something, Soo.” Chanyeol patted her shoulder as the two started to stand.
“Ge~”
“Hyung~”
“I’ll see you later a lunch.”
The doors closed behind them.
Eunsoo drank her juice and looked at Kai.
“Do you have anywhere in mind?” She blinked at him.
“Hmm, we have at least four hours until lunch time, then do you want to roam around Itaewon?”
“Coffee’s your treat, arasso?” She chuckled. Kai rolled his eyes.
“Go get dressed Eunie.”
Eunsoo looked at the tall buildings as Kai drove by Seoul’s downtown.
“I have an idea.” She looked at him.
“Mwo?” Kai asked.
“How about you call one of your girlfriends~”
“What?” Kai blinked at her.
“Then I can see how you go on dates, I’m curious.”
Kai tilted his head and went back to looking at the road.
“You’re…weird today.”
“I just want to see how you….roll.” She chuckled. Kai reached over and gently bopped her on the head.
“Did the maids put something wrong on the meal earlier?”
Eunsoo made a face.
“I’m off today, I wont be going on out any dates, today is bepu bonding day.” He nodded.
Eunsoo smiled.
“Bepu.” She nodded to herself. Kai smiled and he glanced at her.
Kai’s POV
I cancelled my date today with Misun. Somehow I think Tae hyung and Chanyeol hyung set us up. I mean, why would they just leave like that?
I parked the car in front of a burger shop.
“I thought you were buying coffee.” Eunsoo said as we got off.
“We can have coffee with burgers, come on, let’s cross first.” I waved her over.
“Kai, wait!”
I felt her hand on my arm.
“I don’t like crossing big streets.” She looked at me.
“Well hello senior girl.” I chuckled. She gave me a look. I took a deep breath and gently took her hand.
“Let’s go then.”
She smiled and squeezed my hand.
I felt my heart beat accelerate.
This is crazy. I’m going crazy because of this woman.
I’ve never felt this nervous because of a girl.
Huh, Choi Eunsoo.
