Narrator’s POV

Eunsoo was finishing her report at the library, she was wearing her headphones while typing. Then she felt a presence in front of her. She looked up and found Hoya in front of her. She took off her headset.

“Howon-ah.” She said. Hoya smiled.

“I heard you and Kai are seeing each other.”

Eunsoo nodded meekly. Hoya gently reached for her hand across the table.

“I hope you’ll be happy with him. And…please don’t forget if you need me, I’m here. We can stay friends right?”

Eunsoo smiled. And squeezed his hand.

“Yes.”

“Then, I’ll be going now, Soo. I’ll see you around.”

Eunsoo watched his back as he exited the room.

Eunsoo chuckled to herself as she found leaning on the table while sleeping. He was at the cafeteria, beside him Chanyeol, Byun Baek and Tao were eating.

“Ya.” She poked his side as she sat on the chair beside him.

“Yo, Soo.” Chanyeol grinned at her.

“Why is he so tired?” She asked.

“He had some paper to finish last night, or so he says.” Baekhyun shrugged. Eunsoo nodded and gently patted his shoulder.

“Kai?”

“Hmm?” Kai mumbled before sitting up, he smiled when he saw her.

“I was waiting for you to arrive.” He nodded placed one arm around her waist.

Kai’s POV

“Hoya came over today when I was at the library.” I heard Eunsoo say. We were walking towards our classroom.

“What did he say?” I asked.

“He wanted to be friends, which I agreed upon.” She smiled.

“That’s nice, Eunie.” I nodded, then I felt her hand on mine.

“What?”

“I haven’t seen you all day.” She nodded. I smiled.

“Come here.”

Narrator’s POV

Kai stopped walking and opened his arms to her. Eunsoo blinked. Kai sighed and gently tugged her arm and wrapped his arms around her.

“I wanted to do this to.” He chuckled and kissed her hair.

Eunsoo smiled and pulled away.

“You know maybe it’s a blessing.” Kai started. Eunsoo looked at him questioningly.

“Me hearing the conversation between Hoya and you that day.”

“You mean you, eavesdropping?” She chuckled lightly. Kai shook his head.

“I found you alone that day, you were crying. That was when I got to know you.”

Eunsoo smiled and gave him a small nod.

“I’m glad I met you, Eunie.” He said and squeezed her hand gently.

“Me too, I’m glad I met someone like you, the playboy.”

Kai smiled and kissed her nose.

“Let’s get to class then.”
