Dara's POV

After Mr Kim dismissed us, I went to my favorite spot in our school. The Garden. Plants and flowers are everywhere. I guess I am the only student who is interested in planting because since my 1st year, I don't see anyone coming here. Then, my phone rang. It's Mingkkie, my cousin from Australia. "Annyeong Mingkkie." I greeted her.

"Unnie! How are you? How's your 1st week at school? Do you have friends already?" Aish! So many questions.

I sigh then said "I'm fine and I still don't have friends." I know she detected sadness in my voice.

"Unnie, don't worry about it. Next year is your graduation so you still have plenty of time. Anyways, the school year just started. And since you're still searching , I will be your bestfriend for now. Arasso?"

I nodded. As if she is in front of me. Then something popped up in my mind. "But there's a guy here named Jiyong that-----" I did not finish my sentence because it was cut by her scream.

"Kyaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!! Unnie! You don't have friends yet but you already got a boyfriend?!"

I almost choke my saliva because of what i've heard from her. "Mingkkie No! It's not like that! It's different. He is a bright person. He is so kind. So friendly, everyone is his friends. His personality is refreshing. His cheerfulness is 100% or maybe ever more than that. You will understand me if you can see him. So he is my idol. I wanted to be like him." Yes, it's the truth. I somehow envy him because he can make friends so easily. No sweat, he will just smile. Unlike me, they are afraid of my smile. Everyone said that it's Sadako's smile. But i did not see Sadako smile in the movie. And I was about to continue my talking when I heard a cough from my back, it's seems fake but still it's a cough so meaning someone is there behind me. When I turn around, I saw Jiyong. My eyes widened then I felt my cheeks heated. It's embarassing! He is the topic of my conversation with Mingkkie. Did he hear everything? "Ah Mingkkie. Let's talk on other time. Arasso?" I did not heard her reply because I hang up already.

I gulped then little sweat is forming on my face. "J-Jiyong...how long you been there?" Oh great, now I'm stammering.

He scratch his head and smile at me "Long enough to hear everything you said." I was about to say sorry but I saw his mouth open so I let him to talk first.

"Hey. How should I take that?" still smiling. He really has a beautiful smile. I am hoping that one day, I can smile like that.

I stopped, searching my mind to find a right word to be used "Ah... Ah... A compliment!" there I said it.

He stared at me for a while. Checking if I was telling the truth."I am not lying! I promised!" i even raised my right hand.

He laugh "That's great! I thought you hated me."

I was surprised. "Of course not! In fact, you inspire me" I added.

Then he laugh again. Louder this time. "You know, I am not that really inspiring" then scratch his head again.

"No! You are inspiring." I really disagree to him, oh well, he is a humble guy after all.

He stared at me again...longer than earlier. "You are more inspiring. Because I know that everyone is avoiding you and yet you still trying hard to become friends with everyone. You also don't get angry in all rumors that surround you, like your cursing eyes. But you have a beautiful eyes Dara." he smiled at me again.

I was lost for a moment then said "You knew my name?"

He laugh "Of course! We've been classmates since 1st year so why I would not know? Park Sandara. That's your name right?"

I think tears are now forming in my eyes so I bow my head. I thought no one knows it. This is the first time that someone say my name. I thought I would never heard my name from someone in this school. This guy is really great. 

"Dara, you will go to courage test tomorrow right?" I heard him said. "You know, when you talk properly. You get your feelings across properly, right? So don't hesitate and talk to others with all your honesty. Eventually, time will come that no one in this school will misunderstand you." he added then leave.

Wahhhhhh! 2nd chapter is finally done. I was about to save my draft hours ago but someone from my place accidentally unplug my computer. Tsk  and my draft is gone, what a right timing! So i posted this just right now because I have to re-write all my thoughts  

Moving on, i'm preparing now the 3rd chapter. Maybe I'll update tomorrow. So thank you guys for wasting your time reading this 

Is the story too slow? I want to have this fanfic to be finished on SLOWLY BUT SURELY mode.
