Doctor’s Messenger

Chapter Four

First week of college is over. I just realized how my body had gone tired from the new environment. I rolled in my bed and pick up my phone from the side table, unlock it and saw some messages on it.

Yah! You don’t have classes right? Well, let’s have date!

(blank message)

                                                          -Anonymous

“Maybe that anonymous is wrong send.” I press reply button at Minji’s message when mom knock on my door. “I reckon that you are not busy?”

“Aniyo. Waeyo Umma?”  I asked.

“Can you deliver this envelope to your doctor in his mansion?”

I rolled to the other side of my bed and put my slippers in my feet. “What is that for?”

“It’s nothing to worry about” mom said it softly.

“Alright, confidential for me to know I guess?” I said as I get the brown envelope.

“A part of it, hurry up, he don’t like late messengers,” Umma chuckled. “Still remember how to go there?”

“Of course, I’m not like you Umma.” I teased Umma back.

“Of course you are. You came from me.” She said with the chuckle in her tone.

“Fine, still not ‘exactly’ like you,” I quoted the word exactly with my hands.

“Pabo,” she tapped my forehead. “Fix yourself I’ll prepare our breakfast.”

I close the door for Umma and grab my phone saying to Minji that I can’t go with her since Umma told me to deliver the brown envelope. It’s been my first time to go in his mansion last year. Same business with my doctor again and now will be my second time around. I grab my towel and went to bathroom immediately.

After half hour, I’m totally fine with myself. I pick a simple dress and a doll shoes to be comfortable. Grab my pouch and the brown envelope, look at myself for the last time and lit a smile in my face.

After few minutes, I’m on my way to the mansion. It’s not a long trip to the mansion but I need to walk for few minutes since the mansion is kinda far from the main streets.

The bus stops on my destination and I push myself way out. I start walking down the streets as I look around the houses. Different styles of houses stand along the streets and I can’t help but to admire it.

[Kris’ POV]

It’s weekend, another weekend gathering at Sehun’s mansion. I’m only few meters away from the mansion when I saw a girl walking alone in the sidewalk. As I drive the car, I push the brake a little to reduce speed and to see the girl.

I look at the side mirror and saw the girl’s familiar face. “Hanna?” I asked.

“Are you saying something?” a voice snapped.

I titled my head, “Nothing, you’re just hallucinating, Baozi.”

I look at the girl at the little corner of my mirror. What is she doing here?

“Shut up hyung,”

I smirked at Xiumin and push aside Hanna away from my mind. I reach the mansion and park the car inside. I went out of the car and hear loud voices. As usual, another war just starts.

“Sweety,”

You close the old notebook and toss under your pillow and jump in front of the mirror and start fixing a bit of myself. “Yes?”

“Are you done? You are going to be late for school,” your mom said as she open a little in your door.

“I’m done.” you smiled at her and grab your backpack.

You looked at your pillow where the old notebook is keep. “See you later,” you whispered.
