At night, Jiyong went to throw the trash outside the house. While he's manage the recycle trash, he saw a glimpse of someone is standing in front of the gate. Jiyong stand straight to look at the person. Then, he saw Taeyeon was there.

“Taeyeon?” Jiyong call her name after he saw her.

Taeyeon startled after she hear Jiyong voice behind her.

“What are you doing behind there?” Taeyeon asked.

“Throw recycles trash… what are you doing here?” Jiyong asked while look at her up and down.

“Hurm… I didn't see you at restaurant since yesterday...so, I thought to come here to look up you...” Taeyeon replied with hesitated.

“You look up for me?” Jiyong asked with strange.

“No… what I mean… halabeoji… is he okay?” Taeyeon asked try to correct her intention.

“Yes, he’s fine. He leg sprain but still can move…” Jiyong replied.

“Oh, okay… then… I should go,” Taeyeon said awkwardly.

Before Taeyeon could leave, Jiyong suddenly asks

“You want to meet him?”

“Can I?” Taeyeon asked awkwardly.

“Yeah… come in. I’ll tell halabeoji you’re here…” Jiyong replied.

After that, Jiyong take Taeyeon into the house.

“Wait here…” Jiyong said before he went into halabeoji room.

Taeyeon sit on the couch nervously.

Taeyeon POV

“Why I feel so nervous… just meet halabeoji… I’m not here for him…. No…”

“Come… halabeoji ask you to come to his room,” Jiyong said after he out from the room.

Taeyeon nodded before she gets up to go into the room. But, she stop and then she give a paper bag to Jiyong.

Jiyong look at the paper bag with frown.

“I bought fried chicken for you and halabeoji...” Taeyeon said before she quickly went to halabeoji room.

Jiyong look at the paper bag and then he’s smiling.

After Taeyeon knock the door, she greets halabeoji with smiles.

“Halabeoji…” Taeyeon said with smiles.

“Taeyeon-na…” halabeoji greet her happily.

Taeyeon went to sit on the chair beside the bed.

“How’s your leg?” Taeyeon asked.

“More than better… look… I still can move my toe.” halabeoji replied.

Taeyeon chuckle after she saw the toe moving.

“Please don’t move…” Taeyeon said with worried.

“I’m glad you’re here… it’s so boring in this room...” halabeoji said to complaint.

“Why? Didn't Jiyong was here for you?” Taeyeon asked.

“Humph… What he can do? Always nag... I can't do that... can't do this...” halabeoji replied with gloomy face.

Taeyeon chuckles when she saw halabeoji reaction.

“Then, what do you want to do?” Taeyeon asked.

“Want to play card?” Halabeoji asked with happy face.

“I’m not used to play the card… but… I’ll try…” Taeyeon replied.

“Great… would you take the card in my drawer? The lowest one...” halabeoji said.

Taeyeon nodded before she went to the drawer and she opens the lowest one.

“This card, right?” Taeyeon asked while bring out the card.

“Yes!” halabeoji replied.

Taeyeon close the drawer and then went back to sit on the chair.

“No…no… come… sit here…” halabeoji said while pat the bed.

“But…” Taeyeon said to refused but halabeoji interrupt her and says

“This is going to be a long game... comes... sit here...”

In the end, Taeyeon went to sit in front of him on the bed.

“Great… let’s start the game…” halabeoji said while he mixed up the card.

Taeyeon smiling after she saw halabeoji excited face.

Meanwhile, Jiyong in the kitchen is preparing a snack for Taeyeon. He takes out the fried chicken, and he places it on the dining table.

“Should I prepare for her tea or beer?” Jiyong muttered.

Then, Jiyong went to the room but he stops his steps after he hear halabeoji and Taeyeon laughing.

Out of nowhere, his heart starts to give strange feelings. Jiyong touch his chest area and then he’s smiling. In the end, he went back to the kitchen, and he takes out three can of beer. Afterward, he takes the fried chicken, and then he walks to the room with it.

“Here… snack for us,” Jiyong said after he enters the room.

“Wow! Fried chicken!” halabeoji said excitedly.

“Yes, she’s the one that buy it,” Jiyong replied before he take the table behind the bed and put the chicken and the beer cans.

“Jiyong, you want to join us?” halabeoji asked.

“Nope. I just want to enjoy the beer and let you two playing,” Jiyong replied before he sit on the chair.

Halabeoji pout before he slowly says to Taeyeon

“Look...am I right? He's boring...”

Taeyeon chuckles while nodded.

“Hello... I still can hear that...” Jiyong said while his hand open the beer can.

Halabeoji and Taeyeon smiling at each other before continue playing.

Jiyong handed the open beer to Taeyeon.

“Thank you…” Taeyeon said after she takes it.

Halabeoji smiles when he saw them.

“You want to eat now?” Jiyong asked Taeyeon.

“Later… thank you,” Taeyeon replied.

Then, Jiyong open another beer can before he handed to halabeoji.

“No... I'm not drinking tonight... I want to stay awake and enjoying the beautiful moment in here.” Halabeoji said with wide smiles.

Jiyong frown after he said that.

“What are you saying?” Jiyong asked while giggling.

“Just because...” halabeoji replied with wide smiles.

“Can we continue?” Taeyeon asked.

“Sure…” halabeoji replied.

Then, Jiyong get up and go out from the room. After he came back, he opens juice bottle and handed to halabeoji.

“You don't want a beer, so exchanges with juice... can we?” Jiyong asked.

“Thank you…” halabeoji replied while he takes the bottle from Jiyong.

Taeyeon smiles after she saw how the way Jiyong treat is grandfather. Suddenly, the strange feeling comes inside her.

An hour later, the game card is still going on. Jiyong is that sitting on the chair at first move to sit beside Taeyeon after he went to help her to play the cards. Halabeoji took that advantage to make Jiyong and Taeyeon getting closer.

“You think I can draw out this card?” Taeyeon asked slowly at Jiyong beside her.

“No… halabeoji have that card...” Jiyong replied slowly.

However, at the same time, halabeoji just smiling while enjoying the scene in front him. Jiyong noticed halabeoji smirk before he says

“Look he’s smirk… let’s put another card,”

Taeyeon look at halabeoji face before she slowly put down the card.

Halabeoji continue his smirks before he put down all his card and says

“I’m win!”

“Arghh….! Nooooo….!” Taeyeon said with disappointed.

Jiyong look at the card and then he’s smiling. Suddenly, Taeyeon pat Jiyong shoulder hard before she says

“Are you trying to deceive me? You’re complot with halabeoji?”

“No I’m not!” Jiyong replied while rub his shoulder.

Taeyeon narrow her eyes after Jiyong said that.

“So… want to continue another game?” Halabeoji asked while giggling.

Taeyeon and Jiyong look at him before Jiyong says

“Halabeoji, it’s getting late… Taeyeon have to go back,”

Then, halabeoji pout with gloomy face.

Taeyeon feel uneasy after she saw halabeoji face and then she says

“Okay… let’s go for last round…”

“Great…!” halabeoji said happily.

Jiyong look at Taeyeon after she said that.

“Don't worry, I still got time for the bus...” Taeyeon said after she saw Jiyong face.

In the end, they’re continuing playing the card without realized, it's past midnight.

Jiyong insist on sending Taeyeon home, but Taeyeon refused, and she’s also already calling the cab. When the cab arrives, Jiyong went to send Taeyeon to the cab.

“You can get in,” Taeyeon said.

“It’s okay… by the way…” Jiyong replied but he stops his words for while.

Taeyeon look at him and wait for him to finish his words.

“Thank you for coming… and spend time with halabeoji,” Jiyong continue with smiles.

“That’s nothing. I’m happy too…” Taeyeon replied with smiles.

“I thought he's already planning to make you stay here...,”Jiyong said randomly.

Taeyeon frown after he said that.

Jiyong feel uneasy for what he’s saying and he’s stuttered continue says

“What I mean here… ermmm… staying here… playing card…”

Taeyeon grin after she saw Jiyong uneasy face.

“I understand… okay. It’s getting late. Thank you for having me… so, will you come to work tomorrow?” Taeyeon asked.

“I’m not sure… but I’ll try to manage someone to look up for halabeoji,” Jiyon
