--  Gujwa-eup Museum, Jeju --

“You got a call from K, right?” Jaesuk asked everyone and they nodded in agreement.

“Do we have to find treasures?” Kwangsoo asked.

“I heard treasures are hidden here. It will be like a treasure hunt. Isn’t the client, the director of the museum?” Jaesuk asked.

“I think so. Yes.” Jaewook answered.

“By the way, where is the director?” Jaesuk looked around, not seeing anyone else in sight.

“Let’s go in.” He suggested.

“Is it this way?” Someone asked as they walked towards the building in front of them. They entered the building and went up a few flights of stairs before they reached an area that overlooked Jeju.

“It’s so nice here.” Sejeong mentioned as she reached the top floor and saw the view.

“Let’s go on vacation when we have time, Unnie.” Sunmi told her.

“That must be him.” Jaesuk, who was in front of all of them, said as he looked at the inside of the room before looking back out at the others who were still climbing up the stairs.

“Excuse me, sir.” Jaesuk called out.

“Director?” Jaewook called out to the man who had his back turned to them as well. The man turned around and looked at all of them.

“Welcome, everyone!” He greeted them with open arms.

“Hello.” They all greeted him with a bow.

“Nice to meet you all. Hello.” The Director said as he observed everyone.

“Likewise.” They all responded.

“I’m the director of this museum, Woohyun. It’s very nice to meet you all.” He said with a small bow.

“Hello. Nice to meet you.” Jaesuk responded on behalf of everyone. Then he looked over at Kwangsoo who had his backpack on.

“Hey, you’re being discourteous.” He scolded.

“What did I do?” Kwangsoo asked him.

“What’s that weird thing? Put it down somewhere.” Jaesuk gestured to the backpack. And everyone laughed.

“Goodness.” Kwangsoo muttered as he started to remove it. He set it down on the side before he came back to the others. They were standing in an order: Jongmin, Jaesuk, Sejeong, Sunmi, Minyoung, Jaewook, Sehun, and Kwangsoo.

“First, I would like to offer you some tea since you came all the way here. Please take a cup.” Woohyun instructed as he gestured to eight cups in front of him. They were colored: green, purple, yellow, blue, orange, sky blue, red, and black. They each took a cup with the color of their choice.

“Please try some. The tea leaves I used were grown against the wind on this island. It’s organic green tea. It tastes and smells amazing. It’s such an incredible tea. Thanks to the ocean breeze.” Woohyun explained as he started pouring tea into the cups. Jongmin, Jaesuk, and Sejeong had already had theirs filled and Sunmi held out her cup when Woohyun completely skipped her and started pouring tea down Minyoung’s cup instead.

“Ah, okay. He skipped me.” Sunmi whispered to Sejeong and Minyoung who giggled at her before gesturing to Woohyun that he skipped Sunmi.

“By the way, do you guys know why you’re here?” Woohyun asked as though nothing weird happened.

“Yes, we heard that we have to find some treasures.” Jaesuk told him.

“Yes, that’s correct.” He said as he poured tea down Jaewook’s cup this time.

“We’ve been told to get the details from you.” Jaewook told him.

“Treasure hunt.” Woohyun said, pointing at Kwangsoo and skipping Sehun as well.

“He skipped me.” Sehun wasn’t shy about letting everyone know.

“See, unnies? He’s weird.” Sunmi complained about the man in a whisper to Sejeong and Minyoung who continued to giggle as Jaesuk tried to point out that Sehun was skipped as well.

“Sir, you forgot…” He was not able to finish his sentence as Woohyun already started pouring tea in Sehun’s cup before going back to Sunmi and pouring tea in hers. Everyone started marveling at how delicious the tea was.

“Alright. I’ll explain a few things regarding the treasure hunt. Listen up.” He told everyone and they all nodded.

“The treasures you will try to find today originally belonged to an old friend of mine. Unfortunately, he passed away. He was incredibly wealthy. He was born and raised in Seoul. He was a funny and mischievous man. My friend, who totally fell in love with Jeju Island, called a number of places on the island gems and treasures. And later on, he called the island itself, ‘The Treasure Island of Korea’. After that, he started to hide treasures all over the island. Real treasures. But unfortunately, right in his beloved Jeju Island is where he encountered a storm at sea and lost his life. According to his will, I’m holding a treasure hunt today. This is not the first time this event has been held. I invited a few people in the past two years and asked them to find the treasure. But none of them succeeded.” Woohyun narrated.

“That’s why we are
