Sunmi was seated at one of the round tables and she watched as her boyfriend practiced his dance as the opening act for the Magic Show later. She felt herself being slowly seduced especially when he took off his jacket and did body waves. She drifted into her fantasies and was brought back to reality by the Head of the production company's voice.

"Cut! Okay. Sehun, you did great." He complimented as he walked towards the stage.

"Thank you." Sehun said with a bow as he collected his discarded jacket off the floor and moved to walk off the stage.

"Thank you. All of you did a great job. Recheck the magic props. We'll rehearse in an hour. Move fast." The Head, Chunghan, told one of the staff before walking away.

"Let's run it." The staff called out to everyone before leaving as well. Sunmi stood up from her seat and moved to meet Sehun who just came off stage, handing him a bottle of water.

"So, what did you think?" Sehun asked her with a teasing expression on his face as he drank his water.

"It was okay." Sunmi shyly told him as she used a tissue to wipe the sweat off his face.

"Just okay? Damn. I guess I need to try harder to impress you, huh?" Sehun told her with a teasing smile as he pulled her closer by the waist and kissed her forehead.

"Oppa, you're sweaty!" Sunmi as she jokingly tried to get away from his grip. He just laughed and tightened his hold on her.

"Anyway, why are they so late? Did something happen?" Sehun asked as he wondered where the other detectives were.

"They should be on their way now. I texted them a bit before your rehearsal started." Sunmi said and Sehun was about to reply when the couple heard someone talking in English.

"Look I told you already. I saw him with her. I saw her with him. I saw them together. How many times do I have to tell you this? You're being really stupid." A foreigner, who Sunmi knew as a hypnotist, said to his companion, the magician who would be performing that day, Charming.

"No. I don't believe you, alright? As you know, he and I look similar." Charming defended. Sunmi and Sehun played their cool and started heading towards the table closest to the arguing pair. They were acting as though they weren't listening. Sehun was still drinking water and Sunmi was still wiping sweat off his face and neck.

"But you don't look exactly the same. I can tell you apart. Isn't that why you had me hypnotize him?" The Hypnotist asked.

"No way. I don't believe you, alright. Oh, I see. You're ing lying to me, right?" Charming slowly started getting angry.

"What the . Is that really what you think? You know what? Let the crazy girl break up with you. It's what you deserve anyways. The only way you're gonna get over her is to get your together. And don't ask me for help anymore. Don't even talk to me. I'll ing kill you." The hypnotist threatened Charming before leaving. Charming started walking away as well and Sehun and Sunmi both stood up in greeting but he was too upset to pay attention to the two.

"Wow. That was intense." Sunmi stated as she watched Charming's back as he was walking away.

"What was that about?" Sehun asked her.

"Something about that other guy seeing a girl with someone else and Charming not believing him. Maybe a girlfriend?" Sunmi asked him and he nodded as he thought about what happened earlier. Sunmi then pulled out her phone and proceeded to play a cooking game. Sehun was soon looking over her shoulder and telling her what to do as she leaned against his chest, his left hand on the backrest of Sunmi's chair which was pushed close together with his.

"Aein, you should be more quicker in handing out the food." He told her as she lost the level.

"I can't focus with you telling me what to do while I play the game. I need to cook it first. Why don't you try?" She passed the phone over to him and he tried his hand at it and ended up passing the level. He gave the phone back to her with a smug look on his face.

"Oh, whatever. You won because I wasn't pressuring you while playing." Sunmi sulked and crossed her arms and Sehun laughed as he placed both his hands around her, her back to his front and kissed the back of her head.

"Okay, don't be mad. I won it for you." He sweetly said and Sunmi was about to reply when they heard someone call their names.

"Sehun-ah! Sunmi-ah!" They both looked up and saw Jaesuk walk in with the others behind him. Sunmi immediately sat up straight and pulled away from Sehun. They both stood up to greet the other detectives.

"This place is huge!" Jongmin commented.

"Why did you all come so late? Why were you all so late?" Sehun asked them with a laugh.

"What were you both doing here before we came in?" Jaesuk teased as he saw how the two were sitting before he called out.

"He was rehearsing." Sunmi stated as she hugged her Oppas and Unnies.

"You were?" Jaesuk asked Sehun.

"Yes."

"You rehearsed?" Jongmin asked again.

"Yes." Sehun confirmed.

"Gosh. This is where you'll perform." Jaesuk stated as everyone looked around in awe at the venue. Sejeong teasingly nudged Sunmi in the ribs.

"This is originally a magic show, but the opening act will be my dance performance." Sehun informed them.

"Are you really dancing?" Jaesuk clarified.

"Yes." Sehun shyly answered.

"They do that in magic shows." Jaewook stated.

"I see." Jaesuk replied.

"The show is at eight o'clock this evening." Sunmi informed everyone.

"Really?" Jaesuk answered and Sunmi nodded, looking at Sehun.

"I just wanted you all to enjoy the rehearsal." Sehun told everyone and they all agreed, slowly taking their seats around the round table.

"Okay! Sounds great."

"We don't have any cases right now." Kwangsoo said as he walked towards the vacant seat.

"That's good. We can just relax and enjoy." Jaesuk told him.

"Both of you, have some kimbap." Jaewook told them.

"Here, kimbap." Jaesuk stated as he took out two containers.

"Sunmi-ah, your kimbap only contains ham, egg and shrimp. No veggies." Minyoung told the youngest girl and Sunmi's eyes widened as she pulled the container towards her and checked out the array of kimbap.

"Minyoung-unnie, you're the best." She said as she broke her chopsticks in half and picked one of the slices of kimbap.

"Thank you. I'll eat well." She said as she placed the kimbap into . Making sounds of satisfaction when she realized it tasted amazing.

"Hello." Sejeong suddenly greeted someone on stage. Everyone turned to see Charming there.

"Hello!" They greeted, as they saw him as well.

"Mr. Charming!"

"Hello, Mr. Charming."

"Mr. Charming, nice to meet you." Jaesuk said as he walked to shake the magician's hand.

"Yes. Hello." Charming greeted back.

"Nice to meet you."

"Hello."

"Charming-oppa, you better do well tonight. It's been awhile since I watched one of your magic shows." Sunmi told the magician as he laughed at what she said.

"I aim to please, Sunmi-ah." He said with a bow. His eyes wandered to the man beside her and saw Sehun.

"Sehun, you're here. Hello." He greeted the man as well.

"We came by to watch Sehun." Jaesuk explained to him.

"Oh, I see." Charming answered.

"That's right." The other detectives agreed.

"You all must be friends, right?" Charming asked them.

"No. We're colleagues." Kwangsoo stated as Sunmi laughed.

"Colleagues." Jaewook seconded.

"I see. Since it's magic, you can just sit back and enjoy." Charming told them as he moved to the center of the stage.

"Okay, thank you." They all told him.

"Thank you for this honor." Jaesuk told him.

"No problem." Charming replied.

"I really like magic." Jaesuk revealed.

"Very good." Charming clapped.

"This is my first time." Kwangsoo told the others.

"I love this." Sejeong called out.

"Charming-oppa actually performed at some of my birthday parties. I know him personally." Sunmi stated, shooting a proud smile at the man on the stage.

"Since it's a rehearsal, we have to do some preparation. We'll give it a try, after we check." Charming told them.
