[ Flashback ]

 

There's a small party that being held at Onew's studio for their annual day and he invited Victoria along to be his partner

for that night. But aside from that, Onew was also planning on giving a simple confession to her and also there's something

important matter that he want her to know and that's why he asked her to join the party.

All of her friends already know about his plan and eagerly waiting for the news from him.

At the other side, Victoria was out to attend a party at one of the top hotel at Seoul. That party was organized by Vogue

Company which the place she's currently working.

She's totally forgot about her promised to accompany Onew for to his small anniversary party and just enjoyed herself

with her friends.

 

 

That night Onew had called her for countless time since Victoria didn't showed up at his party.

She promised to be there by 8 pm and she will go by herself. Onew waited for her and it's already 10 pm where the party

already started few hours ago. When he asked the girls they said she's already went out but they didn't know where she headed

to which made him become even more worried. He can't even enjoyed his party just to think about her.

He really want to excuse himself but he thought that it would be rude since his staffs are all there in that party.

So he had no choice but to wait until the party ends and rushed home soon after that.

“ She's still not home ? “ The girls just nodded.

“ Did you guys try to reach her ? “

“ We did but she's not taking it. “

“ We thought she went to your party since she all dressed up just now. “

“ It's ok .. I'll wait for her. You girls can have your sleep. She might be late.“

Onew was walking back and forth at the porch, his hands started to sweat badly and he tried his best not to have

any negative thought in his minds.

“ Urghh .. come on .. where are you noona ? “ He called her once again but still she didn't pick it up.

Just when he's about to get on his car to find her, a car suddenly stops in front of her house.

He looked carefully at it and he saw Victoria was in it with a guy.

* Who is this guy ? *

He just watched them until they get out from the car. He saw both of them have a little chat.

 

 

Victoria's POV

 

“ Thanks Changmin for sent me back. You can go now. “

“ No .. sorry for bothering you. If Sooyoung was here I won't be asking you to be my partner for tonight. “

“ Nah .. It's a small matter besides Sooyoung already asked my favor before you. “

“ Hehe .. thanks .. Owh .. wait .. there's something on you head. “

“ Huh ? “

I saw Changmin get closer to me then he chuckled. “ It's a bug. “

“ Huh ? A bug ? Get off me .. get it off me .. “

“ Ok .. ok .. stay still .. “

He hold onto my shoulder to make me stood still while he's removing that thing that peacefully rested on my head.

“ There .. It's gone .. I don't know that .. Urghhh !!!! “

“ CHANGMIN !! “

I don't know what just happen because in just a blinked someone had punched Changmin which cause him to fell flat on the

ground. I help him up before looked at the person that responsible for this and I was shocked when I saw,

“ ONEW !! “

“ Arghh ! What's wrong with you ? “

“ That's for what you did just now. “

“ Onew ! What was that all about ? Why did you punched him ? “

“ Why ? Noona .. he's kissing you and you asked me why ? “

“ Hey man ! It's nothing like you thought .. “

“ Shut Up ! I'm not talking to you. “

“ OMG ! Onew ! What's got into you tonight. Why are you behaving like this ? What did he do huh ? What ? Kiss me ? “

I can't believe that he become like this and I was so angry at him.

“ Owh .. now you're backing him up huh ? Aaah .. I know this guy must be you boyfriend and that's why you won't mind he

kissed you just now. You must be enjoying it much right noona ? “

* SLAP *

My hands were shaking once I realized I just slapped his face.

I stared at him who's frozen right in front of me.

“ On .. Onew .. “

He just stared at my face and I can sense the sadness at him.

“ Now I know why you didn't show up at my party. It's because of him.”

I was flustered at a moment with that but then it made me remembered about my promised to him.

I can't believe I can forget about that.

“ Onew .. I .. “

I can't even finish my words when he suddenly walked away towards his house leaving me stunned next to Changmin.

“ You should go after him. I'll just go now. “

“ But .. “

“ I'm fine Vic .. Go now .. he has misunderstood us. “

“ Onew wait ! “ I'm able to stops him before he enters the house.

I hold tightly on his hands and not wanting to let him go. He didn't even look at me.

“ Look at me .. Onew .. I'm sorry. I didn't meant to do that. I'm sorry .. I'm so sorry but you had misunderstood us.

And I'm sorry for broke my promise. I totally forgot about that. Let me explain about that. Please. “

“ No. No need to explain. I understand perfectly. I shouldn't interfered you life. I'm at fault. “

“ Onew .. what's wrong with you ? Why are you suddenly acting this way ? “

He just kept silence.

“ Onew .. what .. “

“ I was worried for you noona. There's a lot of bad thoughts that being played in my minds when I cannot reach you.

But when I saw how happy you're with that guy I felt hurt because you were having fun over there while I'm here worried

badly for nothing. “

“ Having fun ? I didn't .. “

“ You didn't ? Looks like you were enjoying his kiss with the way you close your eyes. “

* He still thought that we were kissing just now ? *

I can't help it but to chuckled at his silly thoughts.

“ Why are you laughing ? I'm not playing with you. “ He looked pissed right now.

“ I'm sorry .. but I can't hold it. I can't believe that you had those silly thought in your mind. What made you think that we were

kissing anyway ? It was nothing like .. “

“ What made I think that way ? Alright ! I'll show you why. “

He suddenly hold onto my shoulder, turned my body until I can felt the cold wall at my back.

“ Onew .. what .. “

I couldn't even finished my words when he abruptly leaned his face towards mine that made me, “ AAAAHH ! ONEW ! “

I get to hold onto his body to make him stops.

“ Onew ! What do you think you're doing ? “ I was panting from the screaming just now.

“ What do you think I'm doing ? “

“ Are you trying to kiss me ? “

“ See .. you also have the same thought as mine. So I think you already got your answers since this is what I saw happened back

there between you and him. “

I finally got what he meant by that.

He must be thought that Changmin were kissing me when he tried to remove the bug from my head.

He then let his hands off me and moving steps backwards.

“ I'm not a fool noona. It was clear enough for me. “

I don't understand why would he felt disappointed with that until he have to punched Changmin for something that wasn't

even real. “ You know what. You're a fool. “

He was shocked with that.

“ He was just helping me out because there's a bug on my head and he tried to remove it. Everything that you saw just now is

not even close to what you thought. We're just friends. Why would he kiss me when he's already had a girlfriend that he love ? “

 

 

Onew's POV

 

My mouth formed an ' O ' when I listen to her explanation.

Blood were rushing towards my face when I recalled back those stupid thought that I had.

I cannot even looked at noona because she kept glaring at me with those big eyes of her.

I felt more embarrassed when I remembered on what I did to her just now.

“ Lee Jinki .. “ She's called me but I just keep my gaze away from her too embarrassed to say anything.

“ I wonder why did you acted that way ? I mean even if we're kissing, you shouldn't be mad at that. I know you're protective

over me but that was too much don't you think ? Isn't it weird if you hit my boyfriend just because he kiss me ? “

My heart crushes into million pieces when she asserted that but I cannot blame her for that since she didn't know my real

reason for acted that way.

“ I was talking to a wall I guess .. I'm going since you don't looked like want to talk right now. “

I just watched her walked passed by me towards her house.

* I don't have time anymore .. I must tell her tonight. *

I quickly run after her and hold her by the wrist.

She looked flustered.

“ I love you. “

 

 

The world around me seems like to stop once I uttered those 3 words.

I examined carefully her face and it clearly shows that she was stunned.

“ I said I love you noona and it's not a friend kind of love but it was more than that. “

When she's not responded to me I continue to expressed my feelings to her, to convince her that my feelings are real.

“ I always love you .. and that's the reason of me acted stupid just now. I felt really mad when I thought somebody else had kiss

you. I cannot bear it since the girl that I love so much all these year being kissed by another guy. It really made my heart to

crushed noona. “

“ Onew .. why .. what are you saying ? “

“ I'm telling you of what I felt for you all this time. I don't want to keep it by myself anymore noona. It's really hurt to pretend

that I never had a feelings for you. I always want us to be more than just a best friends. I want to protect you as my girl and not

as my best friend. I want to be the one who made you happy and be the place for you to lean on. “

“ Onew .. what .. “

“ Everything that I told you just now is true. It's real .. my feelings for you are real. And I really hope that you would accept me

to be as part of your life and not as best friend anymore but as your lover. “

“ Why are you saying this ? I don't think I can handle this tonight. I'm going in Onew. “

She was about to walked away when I stop her by saying, “ I cannot wait for tomorrow noona, I really need your answer. “

“ Huh ? “

“ I'm leaving .. tomorrow. “

She turned to look back at me.

“ I'm going to Barcelona tomorrow. “

“ Huh ? What ? What are you talking about ? “

“ There's an exhibition that will be held at Barcelona and I'm joining it. Sorry for not telling you about this earlier. You were so

busy these days .. so .. Please .. I really want to hear your decision. “

“ What ? First you told me that you love me and now you telling me that you're leaving ? What game are you on now Onew ?

Where did you put your mind all this time ? Why now ? Even how busy I am .. you should tell me. What's the point

of telling me now ? “

“ Noona .. “

“ Just go Onew. I was so disappointed with you. I felt like I'm not important to you when you did this to me. What's the point of

telling me that you like me when you already decided to leave me ? “

“ Noona .. you know yourself that you're important to me .. I care for you much more than myself. “

“ Really ? Thanks for letting me know about that. Anything else ? “

I know that she was so disappointed at me but I cannot blame her for that. I'm the one at fault for not letting her know

about this earlier.

“ Don't be like this .. please .. I'm .. I'm leaving for a long time, I will also continue my studies there .. so please .. stop behaving

like this to me. “

“ How .. How long ? “ She was stuttered and I can see her lips started to shivering.

“ Maybe 3 years .. or 4. “ I told her hesitantly because I know she will become even more angry at me.

“ You really know how to hurt me right Onew ? “

* No ! Don't say like that to me. *

“ Noona .. “

“ Just go .. I don't have anything else to talk to you. “

“ Noona .. listen to me .. noona .. please .. “

I run after her but I didn't managed to stop her.

She slammed the door right in front of my face which made me stunned.

I called her name for many time but she just ignored it.

Author's Note :

This chapter is the flashback of the night before Onew leaved to Barcelona

where he finally confessed his feelings to Victoria.

And if you remember the previous chapter,

there is one time where Victoria said that she was controlled by the anger. 

This is what she meant by that, she can't accept the fact that Onew, her best friend is leaving her

and happen to rejects Onew's love because of her anger.
