Key was waiting inside the Little White Cafe for almost 15 minutes already but seems like there's no sign of Yoona might

appears at any moment after that so he decided to give her a call because he's afraid she might has forgotten their meeting

today.

 

But then the chime of the bells by the door distracts him and eventually made his fingers stop working from dialing her number.

He looked up and smiled nervously while looking at her making her steps towards him.

 

He had everything planned in his minds, he has prepared his words of explanation since last night which explained the dark

circles under his eyes for his lack of sleep, and he even prepared his minds mentally for her rage and even physically,

maybe for her slaps if she gave one. He was determined to clarify his feelings to her today until a figure suddenly show up

behind her, makes him to be in a confusion.

 

“ Hey, sorry for keep you waiting. “

“ Why is this guy here with you ? “

He pointed while looking at the guy in dissatisfaction.

“ I have a name hyung ... “

The guy just ignored Key's stares and just took his seat right in front of Key.

“ I'll let you know when the other person show up. “

“ Who ? “

He asked in curious with his eyes still fixated on the guy in front of him.

Yoona was about to answer his question when a figure by the door caught her eyes.

“ Amber, over here. “

“ Double date ? “

Both Key and Amber said in unison while Yoona just smiled happily at both of them leaving the guy next to Amber to looked

away in embarrassment.

 

Amber nervously took a glance at Key's face expected for his surprised expression but it turned out differently. He doesn't looked

surprised but there's a tensed in his eyes.

 

“ Yeah, it's gonna be so much fun. “

“ Unnie .. I don't think .. “

“ Come on Am, just give a try won't harm you right ? In fact, L was already here and it's not nice to just leave him right ? “

She gave a signal to L to persuade Amber with her idea.

Said Amber who slightly uneasy with his and Yoona's gaze.

Amber was about to say something when Key suddenly cut her intention.

Key who was being the listener since the beginning starting to boiled up with Yoona and L who are obviously made Amber

to feel uncomfortable by persuading her with the date. But deep inside he knew, it was something more than that. He hate the

idea that the one that he loved was being paired up with someone else right in front of his eyes.

 

“ Key ... what's with you ? Why did you talked to him like that ? “

Yoona asked slightly annoyed with Key.

“ What are you trying to do here Yoona ? Why did you still want her to be on a date with him even when you knew she

wasn't interested ? “

Yoona was indeed taken aback with Key's words and it shown on her face.

Amber who witnessed the tensed between both of them started to feels worried since she was the reason behind all of this.

“ Why did you act like you knew everything about her feelings ? Have she told you that she wasn't interested ? I bet she's not

even mentioned that to you right ? “

“ Can you stop making things awkward for her ? “

Her voice echoed inside the cafe which caught the attention from the people around them.

Said Amber in a sighed while looking at both Key and Yoona.

“ And why did you have to agree to this stupid date ? “

Key was right now annoyed with Amber instead of Yoona.

“ Don't just acts stupid for them. You know your real feelings and stop acting like you won't felt hurt by it. “

Amber's body stiffen while listening to Key.

She had a weird feeling that he might do something stupid after this by the way he looked at her eyes.

Amber bit her lips trying to soothes her nervousness.

 

“ Don't think that you can open up your heart for someone else when you heart were beating only for ... “

 

He let his word hang midway when he noticed the anxiety in her eyes which started to glistered with the tears that was refused

to fall down.

She closed her eyes in a frustration letting a few drops of tears to flowing down her face before looked back at him seconds after

that who just gave her an assurance looked at her. Her eyes then met with Yoona's glares who then just stood up from her place

and before making her way out of the cafe.

 

Key heaved a big sighed before reach out for Amber's hand that was placed on top of the table. He squeezed her trembled hands

gently, “ I'll fix this. I promise. Just trust me on this. “

He then get himself up from his seat before gave one last look on Amber, “ I'll call you later. Don't worry. “

With that, he also made his way out of the cafe.

“ It was Key hyung ? “

L who was obviously surprised with what just happens decided to speak up to her.

She didn't answer him and just keep her eyes on her hands.

“ I should have known ... “

He uttered once again with a bitter smiles on his face.

Key able to stops her from running further from him by holding her by the wrist.

“ Why did you have to embarrassed me like that ? “

 

His grip on her wrist slowly loosen up when he was sure that she wasn't going to run away anymore but it wasn't last long

when he once again held onto her hand before dragged her with him. Fortunately she didn't protest and just followed to where

he lead her to.

 

Both of them just stood next to each other and let the silence to take over the situation but it was then broke by a chuckle from

Yoona.

 

“ It's still turned out this way at last. “

Key then took this chance to clarify the mess that happened.

“ I'm sorry. I'm not sincere with you all this while. “

“ Why did you choose me then ? “

Key felt a huge burdened in his heart when that question being threw to him. He had prepared everything but it seems doesn't

help him either in this situation.

“ Is it out of sympathy ? You couldn't break my heart ? “

He just stood silence by her sides until she broke the ice again.

that's made me felt the guilty even more. I thought I can handle my feelings well but it proves me wrong. I just ... can't love you

A tears slide down to her face when she heard his confession. It was hurt just to hear that from him.

He turned to take a good look on her face.

Amber. For almost a month that he has spends with Yoona he thought he managed to hide his feelings well, thought that Yoona

was clueless with his problem since she didn't shows any of her insecurities to him and he felt really bad with the fact that she

had kept everything all by herself all this while.

Once he let her hand free, she quickly made a step, heading away from Key.

She had made a couple of steps before she turned back to look at him.

Key stood there looking at her face in anticipation.

And she immediately walked away soon after that, afraid if the tears that was pooling in her eyes to fall right before his eyes.

Key just smiled faintly looking her figure slowly disappeared from his sight.

Amber was walking back and forth while anxiously waiting for his calls for the past 3 hours. She had a really bad feelings by

the time Yoona walked off in front of her eyes. Her heart felt like being crushed by a giant rock whenever she recalled back the

incidence at the cafe back then especially when she reminisce back Yoona's hateful expression for her.

 

And it doesn't end there. She also feels so embarrassed with L. She had not just hurt his feelings but she also had humiliated him

in front of Yoona. She felt really bad when she had to left him with the disappointment for the second time. She didn't expect

that he will be so persistent when he said he will not give up on trying to win her heart and she also thought she had stated

clearly to him that she won't be able to love him more than just a friend.

 

She was so busy with her own thought that she didn't realized the door being opened bit by bit revealing a figure. Her thought

was distracts when the door being shut and eventually made her turned to her back.

Amber just stood silently in front of Key who's keep on glaring at her.

He heaved a big sighed when he realized that she wasn't going to say anything about it.

She had disappoints him really bad this time.

He just made his way towards the door after that but his steps abruptly stops when he felt her hands wrapped around his waist,

hugging him from the back.

He retorted annoyingly while looking up at her face, still trying ti catch her breath.

She helped him to get on his feet and pushed him towards the door seconds after that which made Key to be in flustered.

Key was once again in shocked when she abruptly pushed his body towards outside her room but he was faster than she

thought. He quickly went back towards her room but end up being kicked out once again so he had no choice but to just hang

around the doorway preventing the door to be shut by her.

She was bewildered with the sight before her eyes. There, at their usual spot, she saw a picnic basket on top of the mattress pad

with the heart-shaped fake candles all around it which only reminds her of the night in which they supposed to celebrate their

anniversary. The place was decorated just like what she had prepared for him on that night including the guitar that was placed

right next to the tree that have their names engraved on it.

 

But there is a little difference on the decoration with the previous one that she had for him, there is a small pastel vase with

couple of red and white roses and the atmosphere just feels so right with the melodious rhythm of the songs that came from his

iPod which only made the place appears more romantic.

 

“ To make up for what we had left behind back then. “

 

His voice happened to broke her daze and slowly, she turned to looked at him which then he only smiled apologetically to her

as a replied.

“ It feels like we're back to that night. “

“ Kinda but with a different feelings this time. “

“ So, what should we celebrate for tonight ? Since, today is not our anniversary ... “

Amber just flashed a smiled and they sealed the agreement with a cheers.

She asked with a wide grinned on her face, slightly anticipated what could he prepared for her.

“ I want you to show me the exact things that you had prepared for me on that night. “

She hesitantly took the guitar from his hand and started to tuning the guitar which took her for about a minute to finished it.

She then took a quick glance at Key who's now seems to appears more than ready in her eyes. She cleared first for

before plucking the guitar which then slowly formed a melody.

 

Key had some trouble to figure out the song that been played by her at first and only managed to guess it right when the song

reached to it's first verse which only end up him to stunned looking at her. She sang the ' Oasis ' by Beast and Key can sense

some nervousness in her voice but bit by bit it slowly disappears as she's started to feel comfortable with it.

 

She doesn't sounds like any other girl, she just Amber, a girl who have a rich with a little kind of husky voice that can melt

anyone's heart whenever they hears her serenade, that's what he thought. It was not that soft like other girl but it is still sweet

yet warmth to hears though there's some sort of accents attached to it which Key thinks came out y for his ears.

 

He didn't takes his gaze of her while she's been trying to avoid his eyes the whole time as it only made her to feels uneasy with

his stares. He noticed that but he can't seems to stop looking at her face. It was just too beautiful in his eyes with the way she

closed her eyes whenever she tried to hit the high note, the way she puckered her lips whenever she looked at her fingers to

check whether she hit on the right chord or not, and the way her eyes nervously looking at his face whenever she took a

glimpse of him, everything seems so right in his eyes for tonight.

 

She shifted her gaze to him after she hits the last note and only to met with his indescribable expression.

It was hard for her to guess what's been played in his minds on that time.

She nervously asked him and he just replied her with warmth smiles while patting her head lightly.

Amber was trying to find some plain water from the small cooler that Key brought just now but she was delighted when she

saw something else aside from just water bottles.

 

“ You brought ice cream too ? “

She shrieked in happiness which caught Key's attention who's at the moment was busy plucking the guitar trying to get one

song right which seems like forever to him to make it.

“ Oh yeah .. I almost forgot that. “

She then took out two ice cream from the cooler and handed one of it to Key and he gladly took it and just abandoned the guitar

immediately.

“ Hey, Amber .. let's have a competition. “

Amber turned to looked at him with an excitement.

“ Let's see who can finish this ice cream faster and let's decide what can the winner had later ok ? “

“ Call ! “

“ Cool .. ready ? “

Amber nodded, “ More than ready .. “

Key smiled wickedly before starts counting.

His tomboy girlfriend were cheering happily all by herself while he just sat silently next to her in disappointment.

“ No fair Amber ... you distracted me. That's why I'm lost ! “

Amber was trying her hardest to held her laughter and she had succeeded in it.

She just do a merong which made Key to looked at her and happened to made his eyes fixed at a certain part of her face when

he noticed something was there and his smiles was formed soon after that because of something that lingered in his minds.

Amber started to get worried with his stares and she could feel the chills on her spine when she noticed the smirked on his face.

Key thought she looks cute with her anxiousness.

 

Key didn't wait for longer and just pulled her closer towards him and pressed his lips right on top of her' which only made his

girl to be in surprised but only for a short while since she realized what is his kiss for this time. She didn't resist and just let him

to kiss away the ice cream that's gotten all over but seconds after that she could feel her eyes started to felt heavy

and slowly it closes because of the bliss that she feels with his kissed.

 

His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips softer than she could have imagined and she didn't made him to wait long either

for her to respond to his kiss. She could feel his smiles through their kiss and one of his hand started to made it's way to her face,

brushes her cheek softly which then soon he made their kisses deepen than before.

 

Both of them were right now lying down next to each other on the mattress pad, looking up at the spring sky. Their hands were

interlocked with each other and that's is when Key happened to realized her trembling hands.

 

“ Are you cold ? “

“ Well, a little .. “

Key just flashed a warmth smile before let his hand free from her grip.

He then get himself up before reached out one of the paper bags that he brought earlier and took out something from there

which obviously useful for their condition right then.

“ Woah ! You have well prepared ! “

Said Amber as she noticed what is the thing that he's been holding onto.

“ This will make you warm ... “

He motioned her to sat for a while before he put the shawl around her shoulder.

“ You ? Don't you feel cold ? “

Amber asked in concerned when she saw her boyfriend just continue to lie down after that.

Key then pulled her body to leaned closer to his' before wrapping both of his arms around her, making her securely locked in

his embraced.

“ Not again ! “

Amber whines while struggling to set herself free from his hug.

“ Yah ! Stop moving ! Can't you get use to it ? “

Said Key with a serious face which made Amber to abruptly stop from fidgeting.

“ If you don't want your boyfriend to die because of freezing then just stay this way. “

She just nodded before smiled at him.

“ I should have say this earlier but I don't think we're in the right situation to talk about it before .. “

“ What is it ? “

“ Thank You. “

“ Dae ? “

“ I really like the night sky out of glow-in-the dark stars that you've made in my room. “

“ My what ? Owh .. That thing .. It's still there ? “

“ Yup .. just like how you left it. “

 

Remember when Amber went into Key's room to prepare her surprise for their anniversary which end up only to made

Jonghyun and Minho who stood outside the room to be in curious state ? She was working on this stuff on that time. She got

this idea when she remembered on how both Key and herself loves to hanging out at their favorite park for city gazing and

sometimes stargazing. So, she tried her hardest to think of something that similar to it and of course something that he will

definitely like which end up with this idea to pop in her minds.

 

She immediately went to his house soon she got everything that she need for her surprise. Lucky for her, Key wasn't there on

that time since he stays in his parents house due to their 3 days pact. With few packs of glow-in-the-dark stars stickers of

varying sizes, she decorated his bedroom's ceiling with how she intended it to be. Though the tiny stars had gave her a pain, it

end up to give her a satisfaction since they really give depth to the scene and it just feel right in her eyes. She also added some

interesting pattern like her own ' I (heart) U ' at the middle part.

 

Once she was done, she didn't forget to warned the boys about not trespassing Key's room and not until Key had made his step

back inside the room which means only if Key had sees it first.

But her plan was ruined since unexpectedly Key had recover from his memory loss which became the causes of their separation

and he didn't have the chance to see what had she prepared for him in his room since he didn't went back to his house on that

night and just continue to stayed in his parents house for another two more weeks, only to avoid seeing Amber.

And Amber, who was in a distress at that moment began to forget about those things that she had left in Key's room.

 

So, the first time that Key saw that thing is when the day he decides to be with Yoona instead of Amber, the day that he stepped

back into his house after a long two weeks and he is indeed disappointed with his decision. Worse, he even cried on that night

when his eyes saw what had she prepared for him only to hope that he can turned back the time for him to correct things.

 

“ I thought you would remove it since .. you know .. we broke up ? “

“ Even if we did broke up .. I don't think I have a heart to remove it either. “

“ Really ? “

“ It was too precious to me. It made my heart at ease in the hardest time. “
