“ Umma .. “

“ Owh Sulli, why did you call me ? “

“ Where are you ? It's getting late now. “

“ I still have some works here in the office. “

“ Really ? I was worried since you didn't pick up my calls just now. “

“ Owh .. sorry about that. Just go to sleep Sulli. You got school tomorrow. I'll be back right after I finish this work. “

“ Aaah .. It's so tiring. “

She leaned her back at the chair at the same time tried to rest her mind. Her eyes then captured the photos that was nicely

placed at the corner of her desk. There are three photos all together, the first one is a photo of her schooldays with Junhyung,

Doojoon, Onew and Simon. The photo next to it is a photo of her and her family while the last one is picture of her and her close

dongsaengs. She took the last one and examined every each of the person in that photo. That picture was taken right after the

Jongna formation, which was taken at the amusement park with the help of some guy who happen to passed by them at the

moment. She smiled as soon she spotted how sweet Minstal and Jongna in that photo and how cute Taelli are together which

she hope they will end up together in the future. Her eyes then shifted to Key who looks slightly frowned because on that time

all of them just get off from their roller coaster riding which everyone know that Key hate that kind of ride and she chuckled

while remembered how awful Key are by that time. She then let out another chuckle when her eyes captured Amber's picture

where she do her famous pout face but the smiles slowly faded when her eyes shifted towards the middle of the picture where

she found her best friend and herself clinging hand with each other while making peace sign with the other hand. She put back

the photo on it's place and just stare at the window where she can see a lot of tall buildings.

Her eyes suddenly formed tears and quickly she wipe it out but it keep on coming as she did that. She know that her life will be

empty without Onew by her side but she never thought it's gonna be this bad.

 

It's been two weeks already and not even a single day that Onew call her, or even send some emails to her.

All that she want is to hear by herself about his life at his place or how he's been doing lately from his own mouth but she's

always welcomed by a disappointment as it was always came from others not him. She don't know what's got into him that he

choose to treat her that way. She's also stubborn because she can just call him and ask him whatever that bothers her so much

but she choose not to since she want him to call her first. Not even a single day that she missed thinking about him and she tried

her best to distracted herself from that thought by making herself busy with her works but that night she just can't help it but to

go against her own ego by dialing his number. She was patiently and at the same time nervously waiting for him to answer and

felt dried once she heard his voice at the other line.

“ Yeobeosaeyeo .. “

She keep on clearing but none of a word coming out from .

“ Noona .. “

“ H-hello .. Onew ..” She also can't understand why did she become so nervous with him.

“ Noona .. I'm sorry .. but .. I'm quite busy right now .. so .. “

“ Onew .. don't hang up .. “

“ Noona .. I'll call you later ok .. “

“ No .. I know you won't .. that's why I'm calling you .. “

“ Noona .. I'm really .. “

“ Let me speak to you for awhile .. “

She can hear his let out a big sighed on the other line. “ I promise .. I'll call you when I'm done with my work. “

She just stay silent.

“ Do you hear me ? I'll call you tonight. “

“ Arasso .. I'll wait for you. You'll be dead if you're not got it. I'll go straightly to Barcelona if I didn't receive your call. “

Onew chuckled because of that.

Victoria went back to her house right after she's done with her works and her smile never faded after her short conversation

with Onew just now. She quickly take her shower and lie down on her bed with her phone on her hand, waiting for his name to

be appear on the screen. She noticed the clock shows almost 11 pm now but she keep waiting for him since he promised.

On the other side, Onew was busy preparing for the exhibition that gonna be held next week. He have to monitor the workers

while they set up the place that been provided for him and at the same time he still need to do a discussion with the organizer.

It was almost 4pm when he reached to his apartment after all the meeting that he have with the organizer.

He took a shower after that because he need to go to the studio to check his photos that gonna be presented on the exhibition

day. He was all ready and about to go out when he remembered about Victoria.

 

“ I'll wait for you. You'll be dead if you're not got it. I'll go straightly to Barcelona if I didn't receive your call. “

 

Those words sounds funny to him. He decided to call her on that time since he know he's gonna be in the studio the whole time

and won't be able to make some time for her. Just like Victoria he also felt the nervousness around him since he know he should

call her earlier but he just choose to not to since he's afraid that his longing for her will grow much more than

what he already had.

“ Onew ! “

He can hear how excited she is right now by the high pitched voice that she had when calling his name.

“ Noona .. I made my promised right ? “

“ Eung .. so what chu doing ? “

“ Me ? I'm at my house now but later I got to go to the studio. Something about my exhibition. “

“ I see .. you're busy huh ? “

“ I told you right but you don't believe me. “

“ That's .. I .. thought you just made some excuses to avoid me. “

“ What made you said that ? “

“ You didn't even call me once you get your feet on Barcelona .. and I'm was waiting for your call almost everyday but I got

nothing from you. It's kinda disappointed since I heard about you from the dongsaeng. “

He closed his eyes tightly because he felt so guilty right now for avoiding her.

He did want to call her but he still got no courage to do so.

“ I'm sorry .. I should have call you earlier. “

“ At least leave me some emails. “

“ Arasso .. I will .. so what chu doing right now ? “ He asked her.

“ I'm now lying on my bed while talking to a Dubu. “ She chuckled because of that and so do Onew.

“ It's 6pm .. why are you on the bed this early ? Aren't you supposed to be at your office at this time ? You're not supposed

to going back before 6 remember ? “

Victoria was confused when she heard that .

“ Why would I be at my office at 3 in the morning ? “

“ 3 ? “

That made him to remembered the time zone differences between Barcelona and Seoul and he hit himself for that.

“ Noona .. I just remembered the time zone. It's 6 pm over here while yours are 3 am right .. WAIT ! 3 ! 3 AM ?? “

“ Urghh .. Onew .. why are you shouting like that. “ She have to put the phone away from her ear because of Onew.

“ You supposed to be sleeping at this hour and not picking up my call. If I know I would not call you noona. “

Onew was still yelling at the other side.

“ Go to sleep now. I don't want to disturb anymore. “

“ Why are you yelling at me ? I was sleepy the whole time but I hold it just to wait for your call. I was so excited when I received

your call because we didn't talk to each other for quite sometime and now you want to end it just like that ? “

She was now the one who's yelling at him which made him shocked.

Both of them just silence after that until Onew made the first move to start the conversation back.

“ Are you sleeping already ? “

“ No. “

“ Are you sleepy now ? “

“ A little. “

“ Do you want to sleep ? “

“ No ! Can you stop mentioning about sleep Onew ? “

He can't help but to chuckled at Victoria since he thought she was so cute when mad at him like that.

“ What's so funny ? “

“ You. “

“ What did I do ? “

“ The way you scolded me just now is just too cute for me. “

She's smiling when he uttered those.

“ You're having fun teasing me over there huh. “

“ Yes.. hehe .. noona .. you should really get your sleep now. “

“ I told you I don't want. “

“ Let's call each other some other time. “

“ But we didn't talk much today. “

“ There's always another time for that. “

“ Onew .. “

“ Listen to me ok .. We'll call each other again and try to find the right time for that so that we won't end up like today. “

“ Arasso .. Eung .. we can use the web cam right ? “

“ Any way that you want. “

“ I guess I'll hang up ? “

“ Yeah .. you should. “

“ Bye Onew. “

“ Good night noona. “

“ Onew ! “

“ Dae ? “

“ Is there anything else that you wanna tell me beside good night ? “ Victoria hesitantly asked that.

She don't know why did she want to hear he utter those three words.

“ Should I say something else ? “

“ I don't know why but I really want to hear it from you .. those 3 words. “

“ 3 words ? “

The only three words that exists in his mind are ' I LOVE YOU ' which he doubted that's the one that she meant.

“ Onew ... “ She was nervously waiting for him.

“ I MISS YOU ! “ He finally got to think something else aside from what he had earlier.

“ ... Errm .. I .. MISS YOU TOO. Good night ! “

Victoria's POV

 

I hit my head lightly for many times for my request to him just now. “ Babo .. babo .. “

“ Why did I asked for that ? Aishh ! “

“ It's looks really weird because of that. “ I stared at my phone for awhile before put it aside and hug the teddy bear at my side.

“ It's so embarrassing ... but .. why did he said Miss you instead of Love you ? “

I don't know why I wanna him to say he love me just now. It's not like we're in a relationship or what or maybe 

I just miss him ? Yeah .. It doesn't meant only for a person who's in relationship since even friends can say that they love each

other right and of course as a friend.

“ I should really sleep now and stop thinking about that. “
