It was Wednesday and Amber decided to stay back at her school to finish up her project with her team members,

Zico, Myungsoo, Dongjun and Soyou.

 

“ Hey .. get it right. It was slanting slightly. “

 

Myungsoo help Amber with the tower while the rest of them still working on the trees and the river. They have to build a

prototype of a city.

 

“ I'm sure we will get an A for this. “

“ Make it A++ hehe “

Both Amber and Dongjun gave each other a high five when their city are completed.

 

“ Are you sure these are us ? “

 

Zico was so curious since all the prototype people in the city were made by Amber and she promised to made themselves

as part of the characters in it.

 

“ Hehe .. introducing .. the one with the red hood is no other that you, Zico. “

“ Well it does kinda looks like me .. hehe “

“ It was your style though. “

Myungsoo chuckled at him before Amber continue, “ Do you see this cute little guy over here ? It's Dongjun .. hehe “

“ Yah ! I know I'm short but you don't have to make it obvious. “

Dongjun was pouted at her.

“ I'm still growing ok. “

“ Aigoo .. you looks cute though. “

He just gave his fake smile at her.

“ Soyou .. I made you looks y in this. “

“ Haha .. thanks Amber. I love it. “

“ And look .. who is this mysterious guy .. “

Amber pointed at one person who looks mysterious before glancing at Myungsoo.

“ That must be the handsome L. “

Myungsoo said it proudly which made the group to feel like throw up.

“ Urghh ! I can't stand him. “

Soyou already rolled her eyes while the boys still glaring at him with a ' Seriously ? Handsome ? ' look while

Amber just laughed at it.

“ Hey Am .. which one among these are you ? “

Dongjun asked with his eyes still at the prototype.

“ Try to find it then. “

 

All three of them were busy looking at the one but only Myungsoo who didn't join them.

 

“ Hey L .. try to find it too. I'll treat you ddobbuki if you manage to guess it right. “

“ Stop it guys. I already won the prize. “

The rest stops and stared at Myungsoo in confused.

“ Huh ? What do you mean. “

Amber asked with her confused face.

“ This is Amber Josephine Liu. “

He pointed at one person who's stood in a group.

“ Waoh ! That's her. How did you manage to find it ? “

Zico was so amazed with Myungsoo's ability to spotted Amber in a crowd.

“ Yeah .. that's definitely not easy. “ Soyou added.

“ Haha .. Isn't it obvious. She had a short hair with that famous side bangs of her and she were standing at the basketball court. “

“ He was right. That's definitely Amber's style. “ Dongjun chuckled at it.

“ So ddobbuki for me then. “

“ The winner is Kim Myungsoo. “

Amber clapped her hands happily followed by Myungsoo while the rest just laughing at them.

Soyou had to returned home quick since she got an emergency matter at her house while Dongjun, he need to attend an event

with his parents so only Zico, Amber an Myungsoo are left.

 

“ Am .. I guess I will claim the ddobbuki tomorrow since I have to go back home early today. My dad are here. He just

got back from Sydney. “

“ Why is everyone in such a hurry today ? “

“ Daddy's boy. “

Zico mocked him but Myungsoo just ignored it and bid goodbye to both of them.

“ Hey, they're leaving us with this mess ! “

He said while looking around the mess that they've created.

“ Let's just clean this up. It's almost dusk and I'm so hungry right now. “

Both of them cleaned up the place and walked out the class after done with it.

 

Amber help Zico to carry his backpack while on the way to Zico's car because he was holding on their project.

He then put the prototype inside his car and took his backpack afterwards.

 

“ Thanks. Are you sure you don't want me to drive you home ? “

“ Nah. I'm fine. It's not far anyway. “

“ I know that. It's just the sky is getting dark. “

“ Duh ! You're worried for a girl like me ? “

She was acting all tough in front of him.

“ Jeez .. so you do realized that you're a girl ? “

“ Hey ! What was that supposed to mean. “

“ Just kidding. Well if you said so .. I'll just go now. “

“ Ok .. Bye. “

“ Bye and be careful on your way home. You're still a girl though .. so it's quite dangerous even if you know kungfu

or whatever. “

“ Yes. I get it. Now go ajusshi. “

She pushed him to his car and bid goodbye to him.

 

She just watched him went away and about to made her way too when suddenly she realized she has forgotten something.

 

“ My cap!! “

 

She looked into her backpack and found nothing. She had always hang her cap at her backpack and that's why she easily

noticed it when it's not there.

 

“ I must left it in the class. Aaa .. it's so tiring to go back up there. “

She just made about few steps when she heard the sound of the thunder.

“ Don't tell me it's gonna rain today. “

 

She looked at the cloud and it seems like the sky is getting dark not because of the dusk but because it's the sign of a bad

weather.

 

“ Make it fast Amber. “

 

She rushed towards her class and found her cap was on top of her chair. She must be left it there after Dongjun borrowed it

from her awhile ago. Just when she's stepped down the stairs, she heard the sounds of the rain and she was right since

the rain started to falls right now.

 

“ Just great ! I shouldn't refused Zico's offer if I know this will happen. “

Her feet felt weak when she continued her steps.

Amber were standing for about 20 minutes already at the school lobby just to wait till the rain stop but it doesn't looks like it

will. Seems like today is just an unlucky day for her, she got into trouble with the teacher for late to her class, she got hit by a

ball badly on their dodgeball game this morning, she missed her lunch since she spends those break time to finished up her

homework that she forgot to do the night before and she also happen to left her phone at home today.

 

“ How should I call them if I don't have the phone with me ? How should I go back then ? This rain seems like happy pouring

right now and doesn't seems like it will stops. The sky are getting dark. “

 

She could have just use the public phone at her school but she also left her phone card since she use the different backpack

today and the card are in the other bag.

 

“ This can't do. I can't think of anything good now. “

 

So she decided to just run into the rain.

Amber was all wet now and she also felt a bit tired from the running so she planned for a break at a stall nearby the sidewalk

which is closed at that time, at least it will protected her from the rain although she's already wet by it. She was shivering the

whole time because of the cold and plus because of her wet cloth. She doesn't have her jacket with her and she only wore her

uniform. Her legs are the part that felt the coldness the most since it's exposed.

 

She spotted a bakery not far from her but her feet felt weak from the running and also it feels like frozen by the cold weather.

She just rubbing her arms, tried to warmed herself and just wait for it to drizzle.

She then took a seat and looked at her watch,

 

“ Urgh .. it's already 6.45 pm. “

 

Amber didn't realized that she had been asleep while waiting for the rain to stops but what made she realized it is when she

heard,

 

“ Amber Josephine Liu. “ which easily woke her up.

[ Flashback ]

 

 

Key and Taemin were out to the Chinese restaurant to buy something for their dinner because both Key and Victoria are

too lazy to cook today, since Victoria was tired due to her work at the office while Key, he just lazy. So they suggested on

Chinese food but Key got the highest votes to be the one who have to buy their meals, while for Taemin, he's just being dragged

by Key. After they got what they want, Key drove back to their house but then his eyes caught a bakery so he stops his car.

 

“ Why did we stops ? “

“ I want to buy something from there. “

“ Huh ? But I'm super hungry right now. Can't you buy it later ? “

He was doing his aegyo to persuade Key.

“ Jeez .. can't you wait for awhile ? “

“ Nope ! “ He answered it with a poker face.

* Aish ! This unthoughtful kid. *

Key do the thinking for awhile before decided, “ I still want that bun. “

He then took the umbrella from the back seat, “ You can go back with my car. I'll just walk home then. “

“ Huh ? Seriously ? “

“ Yeah .. It's not that far anyway. In fact if you eat a hot bun in this weather it would feel really nice. Wanna try it ? “

Key tried to persuade the maknae but he just shook his head.

“ Fine. I'll go by my own. “

“ Don't let Onew hyung to eat all the chicken. Leave some for me. “

He managed to reminded Taemin about that while the maknae just nodded and droved away.

He bought about 15 pieces of ho-bbang ( steamed bun ) for his friends.

 

“ Mmm .. it has a sweet smells .. and it's taste good too. “

 

After he's done ate one of those, he get himself up and open up his umbrella to head back home. He held the ho-bbang at his left

and his umbrella at his right hand. But then he spotted something more like someone across the street before he even made his

first steps. He realized that it was a student who had the same uniform as his school.

 

“ Who is that ? Why is she sleeping at that stall ? “

 

At first he just want to ignored it but his humanity took controlled him so he decided to check on that girl.

He was shocked to find that the girl is Amber as he reached there.

 

* What is she doing here ? Alone ? *

 

He noticed that her uniform were all wet and he just knew it was because of the rain.

 

* Did she ran into the rain or something ? *

* No wonder I didn't see her at the house just now. *

 

He put the plastic bag which full with ho-bbang on the table before woke her up.

“ Amber. “

She didn't move even a bit with that.

“ Amber Josephine Liu. “

He called her a bit louder this time.

“ K-Key ? “

She asked weakly at him but at the same was stunned looking at him.

“ What are you doing here ? “ He asked as cold as ever.

“ I .. just .. ran .. wait .. “

 

She couldn't even manage to finish her words because she felt her head throbbing badly. She just looked down on her feet

before closing her eyes slowly hoping for the pain will ease.

 

“ Amber .. what's wrong ? “

Key noticed that Amber doesn't looked well.

“ I .. my head .. it's hurts. “

 

Key crouched down to looked at Amber's face who still had her head hung low and he was surprised with her already pale face.

He then put his hand on her forehead.

 

“ You might gonna have a fever later on. “

He took his ho-bbang, “ Let's go back now and have some medicine for that. “

Amber slowly get on her feet, she was wobbling so Key quickly hold her arm.

“ Can you walk ? “

Amber nodded lightly.

Key took off his jacket and used that to covered Amber's body.

They walked slowly towards their house with Key had his hand around her to support her weak body and Amber held the

ho-bbang for him.

 

“ Hey ! Hold it carefully. You might drop it later on. “

 

He still being the Key after all who's non-stop nagging even to Amber who's obviously sick at the moment. But his real reason

is so that Amber will awake along their way. He just don't want her to collapse on their way.

When he felt her steps getting slower,

 

“ I don't think you can cope with it anymore. “

He leaned her back at the wall.

“ Hold on there. I'll call someone to pick us up. “

When he's dialing the number, “ I wonder .. “

Key was surprised when he heard Amber's voice.

“ Huh ? You said something ? “

“ I wonder .. w-why didn't you .. think about that .. earlier ? Babo. “

Amber still managed to teased Key at that condition of her.

“ Hey ! I'm not .. “

“ Yobeoseyeo ? “

He heard Minho's voice on the other line.

“ Oh Minho-ah. Where are you right now ? “

“ Home. Why ? “

“ I'm with Amber right now. Can you pick us up ? “

“ Huh ? You and Amber ? Really ? Why .. “

“ No more question. Just please pick us up. We're nearby the ho-bbang shop. I'll explain to you later. “

He hang up immediately to avoid more questions from Minho.

“ They must be really curious about us now. “

Key said it while Amber just smile weakly.

“ K-Key .. “

“ Hmm ? “

“ You .. you are wet. “

Amber pointed at his left side that were exposed to the rain since Key held the umbrella more to her side to covered Amber

from the rain.

“ Nah. I'm fine. I'm not the one who sick at this moment. “

“ But you'll be. “

 

Key just ignored it and play with his phone since he was bored but then he was startled when he felt a hand holding on his shirt.

 

“ Hey ! What are you doing ? Get your hands off .. huh ??!! “

 

He was so stunned when Amber pulled his body closer to her like really closed to her. They're only about 15 centimeters away

from each other and it really made Key to feel uneasy, really bad.

 

“ Y-Yah .. Am.. Amber .. What .. “

 

He was stuttered the whole time and couldn't even able to continue his words. He realized that Amber's hand are still

at his chest.

 

“ Amber .. I feel really uncomfortable with us like this .. “

 

He was still staring at her face who is at that time had her eyes closed since she felt the pain in her head once again.

Once it's subsides, she slowly open up her eyes and looked at him.

 

“ I'm not doing this for fun. “

“ Then .. w-why ? “

Key were already had different thoughts in her minds, * Why is she's acting this way ? *

* Is her mind affected because she was sick ? *

* Or she did had something in her mind ? *

* Did she want to kiss me ? *

* Andwae .. that won't happen .. *

“ I don't want you to get sick because of me. It's just too bothersome to hear you blame me if it does happen. “

Key able to smile in relieved after that, in fact he was chuckled at it.

* Oh God ! She just scares me to death just now. *

“ Amber Liu is being so kind to me today. Is it because I did a good deed to you ? “

He asking with his mischievous smile while Amber, she just ignored him, too weak to even start a fight with him.

“ So being sick is not that bad. You will always be kind to me. Haha. “

Still Amber didn't respond to it and just keep her head hung low.

“ Where is Minho ? “

Key said while looking away tried to find even a glimpse of Minho.

“ K-Key .. I'm so tired. My head is really hurt. “

 

Key took a glance at her before hesitantly rested her head on his chest, let her leaned her body towards him so that she won't

have to waste her energy that much, since she really need to use it because she was standing without a support.

 

* And I'm being too nice to her too .. Aishh ! *

 

Amber felt a lot better with that. Amber had her left arm around his waist while the other hand still holding the ho-bbang and

she held it tightly since she don't want to hear anymore Key's nag after that. Both of them just stay like that and didn't realized

that Minstal were already arrived and watching them in shocked. Well Krystal was so curious about Key and Amber were

together so she decided to follow Minho.

 

“ Oppa .. what was that ? “

“ Am I dreaming ? They were .. “

“ Hugging !! “

“ OMG !!! “

Both of them shrieked in chorus.

 

 

Key was startled when he heard the hon and found out it was Minho. He shook Amber's body lightly.

 

“ Minho is here. Look. “

Both of them looked at Minho and then Key become surprised when he saw, “ Krystal ? Why are you here ? “

“ Is it really important ? Unnie ! “

“ No .. Just .. bring Amber inside the car now. She was sick. “

Krystal helped Amber to get inside the car while Minho quickly grabbed on Key's hands when he realized Key was heading

his way to the car.

“ What happen ? “

“ She's ran into the rain and get sick because of that. “

“ Not that one .. I mean what happen between you two ? “

Key was staring at him weirdly then it slowly hit it.

“ That .. I'll explain later. “

Minho had this suspicious looked on his face which made Key to feel really uneasy.

* Aish .. I bet he saw us in that condition .. *

“ What ? “ Key acted innocent.

“ Nothing .. get in. “

 

Key had to take the back seat with Amber since Krystal already took the front seat. Key noticed that Amber already dozed off or

maybe she just rested herself but what caught his eyes the most is the ho-bbang that she held. He smiled when he realized

Amber really took a good care of it.

 

* Well .. my nags help that a lot.. haha *

 

He tried to take the plastic bag from her hand but it was difficult since she's holding it really tight.

 

“ Hey .. let go of my ho-bbang. I want to eat it. “

That made Krystal to turned to looked at the back.

“ Key oppa ! “

She was glaring at him for making noises when Amber is sleeping.

“ She had my ho-bbang. “ Key whined.

“ I'll get you that when we're home. Happy ? “

“ But I am hungry .. “

“ Yah ! Key ! If Amber is awake because of you, I promised to eat all of your food at home. “

Minho was blackmailing him which made Key to being a good kid immediately.

“ That was easy .. hehe “

Krystal was chuckled at Key and Minho.

“ AMBER !! “

 

Both Onew and Victoria shocked when they saw Amber looks awful next to Krystal which then made the rest of the gang to

startled and looked at Amber.

 

“ Krys .. what happen to her ? “

Luna quickly helped Krystal to support Amber's body.

Key noticed that the girls were being too worried that they forget about Amber's condition,

“ Just bring her to the room first .. I'll explain about it later. “ 

They just nodded and lead Amber to her room.

 

They help Amber lie gently on the bed and covered her with the blanket immediately because Amber is shivering.

 

“ Noona .. give her some medicine. She had a slight fever because of the rain. “

Key added some more and Victoria just nodded.

“ Let's change her cloth. Her fever will get worse with this wet cloth still on her. “

 

Luna told Sulli and she was about to her shirt when she realized something. She turned to looked at the boys

who still standing looking at Amber,

 

“ Why are you guys still standing there ? Get out now. We're trying to change her cloth remember ? “

 

That really startled the boys like really badly.

 

“ Haha .. right .. out now boys. “

Onew was embarrassed with that and just pushed the boys out of the room.

“ Hehe .. I forgot that Amber is a girl. “

Minho said that to Krystal who already had her icy glared on him.

“ What's a big deal. She's a tomboy anyway. “

With that Key received a smacked from Onew.

“ A tomboy is also a girl. Can you be more sensitive about that ? “

“ Whatever ! “

“ What will happen if Sulli don't stops us just now ? “

Taemin were asking a really ridiculous question which made Onew to give his smack on him.

“ What ? “

“ Stop thinking like a ert ! “

“ I'm just asking. “

 

 

After they made Amber comfortable in her room, the girls immediately went out and headed downstairs to meet Key.

“ Oh noona .. here's your key. “

Minho handed her car key because he has to used it to picked up both Key and Amber just now since his car is two seated

while Victoria's is not.

“ So .. tell us what exactly happen. “

Victoria asked as soon Key's done with his meal.

“ I was about to go back home when I saw her sleeping at one of the street stall and I was so shocked when I saw her

body were all wet. “

“ So she ran into the rain ? “

“ I think so. I cannot ask further since she looks so weak. “

“ Thank God that she's fine. “

“ Why didn't she call you girls or something ? “

“ Aah .. she left her phone in her room. “

Sulli told them since she happen to saw it awhile ago.

“ But seriously Key .. I never thought that you will be the one who help her. “

“ Why did you said that ? I'm not that cruel until I will abandoned her just like that. “

Key stared at Onew slightly pouted.

“ Haha .. sorry for that. Anyway .. thanks a lot for your help. “

Onew patted his back tried to calmed him down.

“ Owh hyung .. you might gonna be a lot surprise if you see what happen between them just now. “

Minho uttered with a smirked on his face which made Key to give a death glare to him.

“ Owh .. I totally forgot about that. So Key oppa .. what with the hu ..umphh !! “

Krystal was cut when Key cupped to make her stops that eventually made Minho to get up and do a head lock

on him which made Key to struggled.

“ Get your hands off her now Diva. “

“ Fine .. I let her go only if you promise not to say anything, now let my head go. “

 

The rest of them just dumbfounded looking at Krystal, Minho and Key. Minho then released him when he saw Krystal

nodded in agreed.

 

“ Stop fooling around guys. “

Luna was so annoyed with all the commotion.

Taemin and Sulli just chuckled looking at Minstal and Key who are still glaring at each other.

“ So Minho, what was it again ? Why would I be surprised ? “ Onew asked in curiosity.

“ I guess, I have nothing to tell you guys now. “

He said with a chuckled while looking at Key's worried face.

“ You guys are hiding something huh ? “

Taemin looked at them suspiciously.

“ Yes .. so don't be a busybody. “
