It has been almost two weeks now, and since that incidence happens, Key and Amber had never see each other again.

Key decides to stays at his parents' house for a couple of weeks because he was still not ready to face Amber.

Even the gang seems afraid to even mentioned Key's name whenever Amber is around because they don't want to hurt her

feelings.

 

The pain in her heart still hasn't been cured but she will tried her best not to showed it to her friends because she know all of

them will only going to get worried for her again and again. Of course she's not the cheerful Amber Liu like she used too but

at least she didn't isolates herself from all of her friends. Well, she did at the first few days but it turned out better days after that

since she realized her action just troubled the people around her.

 

She started to socialized herself back with her classmates, hanging out with the girls at the mall, starts to get her feet back

on the gym by playing the basketball with Doojoon, L and Zico, joking around with the boys and all of these just to distracted

her minds away from thinking about Key the whole time. But she couldn't avoid the fact that she's been missing him badly and

because of that she's acting foolishly once again by going to his house every night and just watched him from a far.

If luck was on her side that night, she will able to see Key standing by the balcony and she was happy even if she caught only

a glimpse of Key's figure, at least that will cure her longing for him.

 

 

“ Mwo ? Arasso ? “

“ What's wrong Krys ? “

Luna asked as soon as Krystal hung up on her phone.

“ Minho oppa told us to go to their house now .. Yoona unnie is there right now. “

All of them was surprised when they heard that and Amber happened to heard that too.

 

Yoona was not in the town when that incidence happened because she was assigned for an out station once again by her

lecturer and just went back yesterday. She immediately headed herself towards the boys house when she knew about Key from

Nicole last night. She was a bit furious with the fact that she hadn't being informed about this but she knew she was too busy

to take all of their calls either, so she let it slide.

 

“ Let's go then. “

Amber said coolly but deep in her heart, she was dead nervous to see Yoona.

Victoria had explained everything that Yoona need know about the incidence but she was careful with her words the whole

time trying not to spilled the unnecessary to her like Key's actual feelings towards Amber and their plan for Amber and Key.

 

“ I'm sorry Amber .. he was mad at you because of me. I was the one who brought the idea at the first place. “

 

She feels so guilty at Amber and Amber feels the same for her too because she had made a bigger mistake by broken Yoona's

trust on her the whole time. She just wished she can have a little bit more courage in herself so that she can tell her the truth.

That way she will felt less burden.

 

“ So, when will he comeback here ? “

Yoona asked while glancing at each of every person in that house but all of them just shook their head for the answer.

“ It's alright if I see him after this ? “

“ Yeah ... I'm sure he will be happy when he see you. “

Amber retorts with a wide smile on her face as for assurance which made the gang to stunned looking at her.

They knew she was currently fighting with her feelings inside there.

“ Then I should ... “

“ I'm home. “

All eyes were shifted to the door when they heard that voice and they were so surprised to see Key standing by the door.

Both Key and Amber just frozen there when their eyes met.

“ K-Key .. “

He was startled when he heard his names being called and his eyes widened when he found out that person was Yoona.

“ Yoona ... “

 

Key was still freeze by the door, stunned looking at Yoona and same goes with Yoona. She want to approach him badly but

she don't know whether her action is right or not since Key just recovered from his memory loss and she doubted that he will

remembered her that fast.

 

While Yoona was battling with her thought, Key was no better than her either. He tried to think for his next move. He had

thought of it thoroughly the for the past weeks and he even has came with a decision but he don't know why he feels so

unsure about his decision right now especially when he saw Amber just now.

 

* Key ... decide now .. *

 

He heaved a big sighed before leading himself towards the gang.

 

* You did the right thing Key ... *

 

“ I thought you're just going to stand there until ... huh ?! “

Jonghyun couldn't finished his words, too surprised when Key just walked passed him and headed towards Yoona.

 

But the sight that welcomed his eyes after that really made him to be in shocked and even jaw dropped. Key just pulled Yoona

for a kiss and right now they were still kissing right in front of everybody's eyes which made every each one of them become

stunned.

 

Amber who happened to stand behind Yoona was the one who received the biggest impact with their moment. She started to

feel so suffocated with what she sees. It was too painful to watched yet she couldn't move even a muscle because of the shock

and just have to watched the hurtful scene before her. She started to feel the lump in , bit by bit makes her to choked.

She clenched her fist trying to holding back her tears. 

 

After about almost a minute then Key finally pulled from the kiss and the first person that mets his eyes is none other than

Amber who's been standing there looking at him. He felt hurt with the way she looked at him. She was in pain and he knew

that but he had decided and he hope this will makes Amber to move on.

 

“ Key .. what ... “

He was once again startled by Yoona's voice.

“ I miss you. “

He uttered while caressing gently her face.

“ You did remembered me .. “

He just nodded with a light smile on his face.

Yoona immediately wrapped both of her hands around him firmly,

“ I miss you too .. I miss you so much Key. I've waited so long for you. “

 

His eyes still fixated on Amber while hugging Yoona and Amber just feel like he's torturing her by staring at her like that.

She couldn't help it but to let a drop of tears to fall and when she realized that, she quickly turned her back towards him,

wiping her tears as fast as she can. But what she doesn't realized is, how awful Key feels when he saw her tears. He just wished

he can be brave enough to wiped those tears and pulled her for an embrace to comfort her. But he knew, once he decides, no

matter how regrets he is with his decision, he just cannot turn back.

Yoona decided to go back to her house later on the night.

“ I'll walk you out. “

Key offered which made Yoona to smiled at him happily.

Once both of them were out of the gang's sight, “ That was so unexpected. “

Jonghyun blurted while looking at his friends.

“ What ? Key oppa and Yoona unnie together ? “ Luna asked him weirdly.

“ No.. not that .. the scene just now .. that was so out of blue .. I mean .. did he have to do it when all of us were there ? “

 

Amber just keep her eyes fixed on the TV, trying to distracted her minds from whatsoever that her friends were talking about.

 

* Good job Dino. Did you have to bring that up again ? *

 

She cursed under her breath but slow enough only for herself.

 

“ Taemin ! “

All of them were startled by Key's sudden high pitched voice and immediately turned to looked at him who's already standing

by the maknae's back.

“ Wae ? “

Taemin asked shortly while looking at him in curious.

“ I MISS YOU SO MUCH MY SON !!! “

He shrieked while running towards the maknae who looked at him with his wide eyes.

He then pulled his son for a tight embraced which made Taemin to feel the suffocation.

“ Urghhh !! Can't .. breath .. “

He then pulled away after he heard a sudden cough from his son before shifted his eyes towards the rest.

“ I miss you .. and you .. you .. and you .. you .. you .. and .. “

He pointed at every each of the person but his hand froze when his hand was about to point at the last person, which is Amber.

 

His eyes glued on her while repeatedly clearing his throat trying to spill out some words to say. Both of them quickly looked

away when they realized the situation getting awkward by that. The gang were exchanging glances the whole time when the

atmosphere suddenly turned out into a silent mode. Both Key and Amber just have to keep their eyes on the TV screen so that

they won't glance at each other.

 

An idea suddenly popped in Jonghyun's mind when he saw how awkward both Key and Amber are.

“ Sweetie, let's take a night stroll huh ? “

Asked Jonghyun while looking at Luna with a meaningful stares, hoping for her to understand his intention.

“ Alright. Let's go. “

She get herself up as soon as she uttered those before helping her boyfriend to stood on his feet.

They bid a quick goodbye before walked out of the house hand in hand.

“ Oppa, I just remember of the assignment that Mrs Jo gave me last week. Can you help me with that ? “

Krystal pleaded to Minho with her puppy eyes and Minho just have to agreed to her since he also know there's something else

behind her favor.

Minho managed to give a quick signal to Victoria before he went out of his house.

“ Don't the two of you got something to do also ? “

Victoria asked while looking at Sulli and Taemin.

“ Unnie .. I don't remember of having any work for tonight. “

“ Yeah .. I don't have any also. “

“ I'm sure you have one Ssul. “

Victoria stressed that out once again to Sulli which made her to get what she meant by that.

“ Omo .. yeah .. I totally forgot .. I got .. something to do .. yeah .. hehe .. Minnie, you need to help me. “

“ Mwo ? But .. This Harry Potter is still hadn't done yet .. “

Taemin still being clueless the whole time which made Victoria to chuckled at him.

“ No but .. come on ! “

Sulli just have to dragged that boy along with her just to keep his mouth shut from all the whines that he gave.

Amber who realized what's the gang up to quickly get on her feet to walked away but was stop by Victoria.

“ Unnie ... “

“ Stay. Both of you really need to talk. I'll leave you guys then. “

 

Victoria just smiled at them before she lead her way towards the door leaving Amber in dumbfounded while Key just gave a sly

smile at her. Amber heaved a big sighed when the door closed and just plopped herself down to the couch.

 

There was a big gap in between them and looks like it can even fit two more person next to them. Amber keep on bitting her

lips trying to get over her nervousness and Key noticed that so he took the initiative to broke the silence first.

 

“ They're at acting huh ? “

“ Dae ? “

Amber who was startled by his voice immediately turned to looked at him.

“ I mean who would have a walk at this cold night ? “

That made Amber to let a light chuckled eventually made her to feel a bit at ease.

“ Yeah .. Krys should give a better excuse than that. Mrs Jo was out of town for two weeks. How can she gave her an assignment

when she's not here at the first place. “

Key took his turn to laughed at Amber's words just to show her that he's comfortable around her right now.

“ Sulli and Taemin ... “

“ Those two just ruined everything at the first place. “

They giggled with each other when they recalled back that.

 

 

“ How are you ? “

Amber took a glance at Key before she flashed a smile to him.

“ I'm .. good. “

She retorts obviously lied at him.

“ What about you ? “ She asked him back.

“ Better than I had expected. “

Once again they looked away and they would end up doing this whenever the situation gets awkward.

“ The truth is ... I'm not doing so well. “

Amber decides to speak the truth which surprisingly made Key to chuckled when he heard that.

“ I was no better than you actually. “

“ For real ? And we have to lied to each other about it ? “

“ Maybe we both thought the same thing. We don't want to make the other party to get worried. “

“ Yeah .. you're right. “

Once again the silence revolves around them and both of them in unison trying to broke the ice when they noticed their

situation.

“ Amber .. “

“ Key .. “

They end up chuckled at each other because of that.

“ You first. “

“ No, ladies first. “

 

Amber let out a soft chuckled when Key decides to yield in this matter because as fas as she know, Key isn't that type of guy

especially whenever he's with her and more shockingly he did admit that she's a girl for the first time. She really want to make

the atmosphere more alive by teasing him but she just decides to talk something more serious since that was more important

right now.

 

“ I want to say .. I'm sorry. “

She took a glance at him before continue her words.

“ Everything that happens was all my fault moreover I don't have any reason to defends myself either and I was more sorry

for took the advantage on your poor condition, for my own happiness. So, yeah ... I'm sorry Key. “

 

She tilted her head at his direction, trying to finds any glimpse of forgiveness from him but only end up stunned when he

reached for her right hand, caressing it gently while his eyes fixated on her', staring at her with love and care but at the same

time, she can feel, there's some guilt and anxiety in his eyes. It was beautiful yet hurtful at the same time for Amber. He went

closer to her, without breaking the gaze nor do his grips on her hand.

 

“ It was because of love .. and there's nothing for you to be sorry for. It was me .. I'm the one who feels sorry to you. Your love

is something that I can't feel when I'm with Yoona and I'm really grateful to have it. Every seconds of my time that I had spends

with you was something that I appreciates the most. You're someone that I adores the most, the person that become the reason

for my heart to missed for a few beats and it was a pleasure to share the love with you and that makes me to feels sorry for

because I can't continue to feel this amazing love for more. Our love ... just cannot be continued. “

 

Her heart aches but she knows he was no better from her in fact he was more suffered than her. He was stuck in the middle

and was having the hardest time out of them.

 

“ I've told you once and I'll tell you one more time. It was impossible for my heart to stop beating for you. So, don't you ever

think that I made this decision because I had stop loving you. It was hard for me Amber but I have to do it. I was belongs to

Yoona, and I don't have a heart to change that. I .. I couldn't break her heart. Call me a coward for not be able to fight for our

love .. I don't care but please .. I don't want you to hate me. I can't imagine of my days with your resentment. “

Said Key with full of his heart, hoping for her to understand his situation.

 

Not even once he took his eyes away from him just to showed her how sincere and sorry he is towards her.

 

“ I'm sorry for makes things hard for you. This wasn't going to happened if I didn't start the lies. “

She took a moment to stares at his brown orbs before gave him a faint smiles.

“ But, to tell you the truth .. I wasn't regret it either and you know it well what's the reason right ? “

Key nodded with a smile.

“ You can stop worrying about me from now on. I was prepared for this since the beginning. So, don't feel bad about it. “

“ Amber .. “

“ I'm hurt .. I can't lied to you about that but at the same time I'm happy with the fact that I was still in your heart. “

Key heaved a big sighed after that. He was still battling with his minds whether to turning back from his decision or not.

“ I wish I had more courage to correct things. “

“ Maybe this is the right thing to do. Maybe, we're not meant to be with each other. “

 

Surprisingly, Amber was more calm in facing this situation compared to Key but the fact is, it is not easy as one thinks. She

merely wants to assured him that she accept the fact that they both cannot be together.

 

“ Yoona unnie deserves you more than I am. It's written in your fate. “

He didn't say more and just pulled her for an embraced.

“ I'm sorry ... “
