“ Luna. “

 

 

Amber was surprised to see Luna already dozed off with her head landed on her study desk. She just shook her head and

was about to wake her up but then her eyes caught on the small notes that scattered on the desk. It was actually the love

notes that Luna made for Jonghyun. She then the younger one's hair gently while reading every each of the love

notes.

 

* I wish I was brave enough as you. *

 

 

She then gathered all the papers and placed it inside the box which full with other love notes that Luna made.

 

“ Luna, wake up. “

 

She just fidgeted a bit and didn't bother to open her eyes. Amber just let her sleep like that. She then took the blanket from

the bed and covered Luna with it.

 

 

Amber didn't feel like sleeping after that so she decides to go out but of course after she got the permission from Victoria

since Victoria become quite protective over her since the last incidence where she's suddenly missed in action. She put the

sweater on before went off with her bike.

She really didn't plan on where to go on that night and just wander around the town until her mind suddenly remembered

about the cafe that she had been to the other night. She parks her bike right in front the cafe before walked in.

 

“ Annyeonghaesaeyeo. “

Both of the staff and Amber herself bowed to each other.

Amber sat on the same place that she did last time, where there are few book shelf situated behind her.

She took one of it and read it while waiting for her drink.

 

 

“ Caramel Latte for you. “

She tilted her head and smiled genuinely at the ajusshi who served her drink.

“ Kamsahamnida. “

“ You seems familiar to me. Aren't you the student that came to my cafe last time ? “

Amber was surprised when the ajusshi able to recognized her even when she's in her usual boyish outfit.

“ Dae. I was your last costumer on that time. I wonder how did you manage to recognized with me looking totally

different today. “

“ I didn't at first, but your voice did ring a bell. And also your face. Anyway, enjoy your latte. “

The ajusshi leaved her and headed to the counter.

 

 

While Amber still waiting for her drink to cool down,

“ This cafe is the best. I've been here for many times already. “

 

* Key ? *

 

 

She tilted her head and surprisingly she found Key inside the cafe with Yoona at his side. Even she knew about their

relationship she still cannot help but to feel shocked whenever she happen to saw both of them together. Amber quickly

change her place to the opposite chair where she had her back facing Key.

 

* What is he doing here ? Aish !! Can't he find other place than this ? *

 

 

“ Ajusshi, over here. “

 

* Did he think he's in the market right now ? Why did he have to shouts like that ? *

 

 

“ Owh, hi Key. It's been awhile since you come here. “

“ Yeah, well, I'm kinda busy lately. “

 

 

* Yeah right ! Busy with his girlfriend. Wait ! He must be a regular customer, that's why the owner knows him right ? *

 

“ And who is this pretty girl with you ? “

“ She's pretty right .. hehe .. Yoona, my fiancee. “

 

 

Amber chocked after hears that, she can feel the burning sensation on her poor tongue because of the hot drink.

 

* Fiancee ? He's got to be kidding me ? *

 

 

“ Key ! Aniyo, he's just joking. I'm his girlfriend. “

“ It's still the same to me. “

“ Haha, you guys looks perfect with each other. So what do you need for today ? “

Amber had no choice but to wait until Key and Yoona finish with their little date to avoid being caught up by the both of

them. Even though both of them sat few tables away from Amber but that doesn't stop Amber to hears every conversation

that they had. It was really tough for her but all that she can do is to just endure it, try not to make any scene anymore.

 

 

“ I really wish I can spend the school break with you. “

“ Me too. But we can always call each other. Don't you ever try to flirt with other girl over there. Got that ? “

“ Yes, Ma'am ! I'm going to miss you so much. “

Key leaned forwards to kiss Yoona but she stops him.

“ Not here Key. People are watching. “

“ Nobody is here. Please just a peck. “

 

* Hello !! I'm here ! Can't you see ? Stupid Key !! *

 

 

“ Later ok ? “

“ Arasso. “

 

 

After about 15 minutes then finally Key and Yoona decided to go back home. Amber took a glance over her shoulder and

saw both of them were walking out of the cafe. She quickly get up and made the payment before dashed towards her ride,

but careful enough not to make the couple to realize it.

 

 

At first, Amber just want to quickly go off the place but when she looked back at the couple, she started to feel hesitant.

She just keep her eyes on the couple who's now walking along the side walk, hand in hand.

“ Let's stay here for awhile ok ? “

Key just nodded and give Yoona a back hug.

Both of them were now standing right in the middle of the small bridge at the park nearby the cafe.

“ When will we let them know about this ? “ Yoona asked.

“ Anytime that you want. I wonder why did we keep this as a secret at the first place anyway ? “

“ Maybe because we're still not sure about our feelings towards each other back then. “

“ So, does it mean that you're really sure with your feelings to me now ? “

Yoona let out a chuckled.

“ Kim Kibum. I thought you know my feelings well. “

“ I knew it, I just want to make sure of it. “

Yoona just playing with Key's finger when suddenly Key chuckled.

“ What ? “

“ I just remembered something. You owe me a kiss. “

Yoona eyes widened when she heard that but she just ignored it, tried to pissed Key a little bit.

“ When did I owe you such thing ? “

“ Yah ! Don't you remembered ? You told me to give it after we went out of the cafe. “

“ Did I ? Eung, I can't remember it at all. “

“ Haha .. I'm not going to fall with your trick. I'm waiting. “

 

She let out a chuckled before turned herself to face him and she was welcomed with Key's victory smiles. She just shook

her head before leaned herself closer to Key. When she was close enough, “ I love you. “ and pressed her lips gently on his.

Both of them were so into their moment that they didn't realized someone has been watching them all along.

 

 

* Amber ! You're a true babo ! Why did you always let yourself hurt ? *

 

As much as she want to walked off those hurtful sight that welcomed her, her feet won't just do what her mind says and

end up witnessed the Key and Yoona's moment together. Amber had been crying for countless time because of Key and

tonight she did it once again. She really hate herself for unable to move on.

Amber didn't went home straight away after that but went to somewhere else. It was some kind of a garden that actually

not most people knew about its existence, but tonight, it seems like only Amber were the one who occupied the place. She

stood right at her usual spot where she can see the beautiful night view of Seoul City. She took out her iPod player and

plucked in the earphone in her ears. She hit on the playlist button and choose the exact song that she really want to hear

for tonight, none other than her track no. 21, Afraid Of Love, by Bobby Kim.

Amber hugged her knee even tighter while letting her head resting on it and just let the tears to flow for how much that it

want, she doesn't care. All that she know is she just want every each of the emotions that she felt right now will be able to

vanish from her heart. She know, that's the only way that she can ease her heart.

She just hope that he was here to witness everything that she had been through, he was there to comfort her even if just

as a friend, she won't mind it, as long it was him. She know that he's the only one who can make herself feel better

although he's the one who cause the tears to fall down at the first place. It was some kind of magical to Amber as she able

to gained herself back whenever he was there with her. But she also know that she can only hope and cannot ask for

more.

Her vision slightly felt blurred as she rode back to her house and she was sure enough it was the effect of her long crying

just now. Her phone rang just as she parks her bike and her eyes widened when she saw the caller ID but she doesn't

bother to take that call either. She just went through quite a lot today so she don't want to make her night harder than it

already is.

 

 

“ Yah ! You evil tomboy ! “

She was startled by his voice but she just ignored him and headed her way to the door, leaving him dumbfounded.

“ Are you deaf or something ? I'm calling you. “

He able to hold her wrist to stops her.

“ I'm sleepy. “

She answered him weakly.

“ You .. just intentionally don't want to pick up my call right ? “

“ Yes ! Can I go now ? “

Not even once she looked back at him.

“ Not until I'm done with the interrogation. Where were you ? “

“ None of your business. “

“ It's 2 in the morning right now. “

Key still held onto her hand which made Amber to feel uneasy so she swatted his hand gently.

“ So what ? Why do you care ? “

“ Didn't I warned you not to make me worried and guess what, you just did it once again. “

 

 

Amber just rolled her eyes and continue to made her steps which really made Key to boiling inside.

He thought it was really rude for Amber to just walked away when he's still not done with her.

 

“ What the .. ??! “

 

 

He angrily walked towards Amber and quickly grabs on her wrist, turned her to face him and lastly he pinned her to the

wall with both of his hands securely holding her hands.

 

“ What's wrong with you woman ?! You know that you're damn rude to me just now. “

Key throw his Diva tantrum right on her face and that just made Amber to stunned looking at him.

She tried to hold herself from tearing up once again but she fails as her eyes easily get watery and Key was quick enough

to realized that.

 

“ Are you crying ? “

She nodded lightly tried to keep her gazed away from him.

 

 

He felt really guilty when he saw the tears slowly falling down on her face. Slowly he let go of her hands.

 

* Did I upset her that much ? But, what did I do anyway ? *

 

 

Key hesitantly her hair trying to comfort her. He was battling in his minds whether he should give her a hug or

not since suddenly he felt guilty with the thought that he will hug another girl other than his own girlfriend. He don't

know why but he feels like it's just wrong.

 

 

Amber, on the other side were waiting for his hug that she really long for. She really want to feel his warm at the time like

this just like what he used to do when he upsets her at the amusement park long time ago. She really didn't expect that

she will burst up crying in front of him tonight. He just made her to recalled back the hurtful moments that she happen to

saw between Yoona and him.

 

 

“ You .. you can .. go home now. “

She said as she thought Key wasn't supposed to witnessed this at the first place.

“ But, what about you ? “

“ I'll be fine. Just .. go. “

 

Key just watched her walking away, looking at how weak she is to use her legs.

 

* This just don't feels right ! She needs me. *

 

 

With that, Key immediately walked towards her and wrapped his arms around her, he's giving her a back hug.

 

“ K-Key .. “

“ I don't know what made you cry but all I know is you need someone to comfort you right now. And this is not the right

time for you to complain if you don't like the person that's currently comforting you. Whether you like it or not, just face

it that Kim Kibum is trying to comfort you. Got that ? “

 

 

Amber didn't say a word and just let him to hug her like that. Like what she thought earlier, Key is the only person who

can made her heart at ease when she was down and also he's the one who can make her heart easily raced crazily.

 

 

With his back leaned on the wall, he feels a lot comfortable hugging Amber right now and so do her, who's had a light

smile plastered on her face and she was really glad with the back hug as that made Key to can't see any of her expression

that she had right now.

 

“ Feeling better ? “

 

She just wished Key won't say anything and keep on hugging her but even though it was hard, she had to end this no

matter what. She just answered him with a nod.

 

“ Do you need a longer hug ? “

 

Automatically her head nodded to his question which then she regretted it so much when she heard him chuckling at her.

* Babo !! Why did you nod to that ? That was so embarrassing ! *

 

 

When she realized Key won't stop giggling at her, she quickly detached his hands from her waist but then Key pulled her

back towards him but this time they were facing each other. Key wrapped his arms firmly around her,

 

“ Didn't you said that you need a longer hug ? I'm giving you .. “

 

Amber just landed her head on his chest before wrapping her arms around him and she was smiling from ear to ear

because of that.

 

 

“ Why did always I'm the one who caught you crying ? “

“ I wonder why. “

“ I must have done something bad at my past life that God gave this as my punishment. “

“ Hey ! What was that supposed to mean ? I didn't ask you to be here with me. “

“ You didn't, but you want me to be here with you. Look at how are you enjoying my hug right now .. tsk .. tsk .. “

 

 

Amber felt her face heating up as Key like that.

She just lost of words because everything that Key said was definitely the truth.

 

“ Speechless ? I knew it !! “

“ J-Just go now. “

She pushed his body away from her which made him bewildered.

“ What ? That's it ? You don't have anything to argue back with me ? “

“ Nope ! “

“ So, it's true that you need me ? “

“ Yeah .. whatever ! “

“ Mwo ? Why did you always ruined the fun ? You should argue back with me and not just bluntly said it was true. “

“ Do you have problem with that ? Don't you want to go back to your house ? If you notice, it's already 3.30 in the

morning. “

“ I thought you didn't care about the time since you always went back late. “

“ I just felt really weird with the fact that you're hugging me at this hour. “

“ Yah ! Who need it at the first place. “

Key pointed his hand at her but Amber just make her poker face to him.

“ Whatever ! Be that way ! I'm going ! I sacrificed my beauty sleep for nothing ! “

Amber just do a merong at Key who's currently stomping back to his house.

 

 

Key wasn't mad, he just pulled an act just to lighten back Amber's mood and it does works. He was actually smiling along

his way towards his house with the fact that he able to comfort Amber just now. He really feels happy for that although

he was hoping that Amber could at least tell him what's been bothering her these day, but he know maybe Amber just

wasn't ready yet to openly share her problem with him. Anyway, he was really glad that Amber let him to be the one who

can at least comforts her. He then become surprised with the call that he get after that,

 

“ Yes ? “

“ Thank you. Bye. Good night Key ! “

She just hung up after that which made Key to chuckled at her cuteness.

“ Babo ! She just wasted her credit for this ? She can just thanked me while we're talking just now. “
