Sulli was on her way towards the class with only Krystal and Luna by her sides since Taemin already informed her that he's gonna be late for school without knowing what's the real reason for his lateness. She just stride towards her seat once she was there, feeling slightly worried for Taemin who is still didn't show up while the clock shown that it will to 8 in less than 10 minutes.

 

“ What took him so long ? “

She mumbled with her eyes wandering around the school hallway, looking for her one and only best friend.

“ I should give him a call. “ She just want to remind him that he only have about 5 minutes to make it to the class.

 

Just when the line is still ringing in her ears, “ You should come ... “

Her eyes immediately shot towards where the voice had comes from. 

 

“ I'm not sure Taem .. Is it really fine ? “

Slowly, she put the phone down, back inside her bag while her eyes still fixed on that certain person.

“ Why won't it ? It's not like they're some kind of strangers to you. “

“ Alright then. “

“ Cool. I'll let them know. “

She nodded before give a light wave just before she headed towards her seat while he just stayed there, watching her walking away until she settled down on her place.

 

Once he turned away, “ No wonder I felt slightly creep up just now ... “ He said while smirking at Sulli who's been watching him since then.

He took his seat at her left, “ Morning Sulli ... “

“ I tried to reach you just now ... “

“ You do ? Let me see .. “

He took out his phone from his bag before showed it to her where a ' 1 Missed Called ' shown on the screen, “ Why did you called ? It's in my bag .. I can't hear it I guess. “

“ And you made it into a Silent Mode ? “ Surprisingly, she noticed that tiny symbol on the screen too.

“ Owh .. right. Must be accidentally turned into that. So, what's up ? “

“ Nothing .. just want to know where you at. “ Said Sulli before took a quick glance at her right, “ Were she with you ? “

' She ' that she meant was referred to Minzy and Taemin gave a nod as his answer.

“ How ? “

“ I met her on my way ... “

He doesn't look convincing in her eyes and he could tell on the way she's staring at him, “ Coincidently .. “

“ Right. “ She nodded in understand, “ You could just tell me that you're going with her ... “

“ It's not like what you think .. Really .. “

“ Whatever. I'm just worried for you. So it will be easier if you just tell me right away. “

She sounded angry in his ears and eventually made him to feel worried inside.

 

* Is it that bad ? Did she felt that worried for me ? *

 

She couldn't help it but to feel slightly pissed with the fact that he just ditched his own best friend for another girl, a soon to be his girlfriend to be exact.

* Aish ! Minzy is my friend too. I shouldn't think it that way. *

 

“ Ssul .. “

“ Just forget about that. Sorry. “

He smiled in relief after that when he sees she's smiling at him.

 

 

Along their lesson, Sulli can't help but to feels quite distracted with Taemin who keep on taking a side glances towards her, correction, she knows it was for Minzy. But it feels like those glances are meant for her.

“ Yah, stop doing that. I can't concentrate. “

She give a nudge before whispered to him while he just chuckled at her.

“ Doing what ? “ He asked just to make her feel more annoyed.

“ Wait until I give your name to Mrs Jo. “

“ Ooo .. I'm scared. “

“ That's it. You're dead. “

Just when she about to complain to the teacher, the school's bell rang,

“ Guess it's my lucky day. Hehe. “ Muttered Taemin happily while messing up her hairs.

“ Yah ! My hair ! “

Sulli was busy fixing up her hair when suddenly Luna popped out from her back, “ Ready ? I'm hungry. “

“ Almost... Done. “

“ Wait. Someone is gonna to join us today. “

“ Who ? “ Sulli asked but was ignored by Taemin who just walked passed by her and lead his way towards Minzy's table.

“ Let's go ? “

She heard him says that to Minzy who just nodded at him.

“ What did you girls waiting for ? Come on. I'm hungry. I bet Amber noona already waiting there. “

Her trance was broken with his sudden shouts just now, “ Right. Coming. “

Krystal and Luna already catching up with Taemin while Sulli followed them slowly from behind, dragging her heavy steps with her.

* I feel like lost my appetite today ... *

Well, not exactly true because right now Sulli is the one who's enjoying the meal the most out of them.

 

“ You seems like haven't eat for a week. “ Amber uttered looking oddly at Sulli.

“ Tell me that you're not pregnant. “ Said Taemin looking at her stomach before turned back his gaze at her eyes where then he met with her stern glare.

“ I am not. I'm just ... hungry. “

“ Weird. You are not the one who have a big appetite as far as I know. “

“ Now you know. “

She just continue eating, trying her best to ignored Taemin's gaze who's staring at her weirdly since then.

 

The truth is, she just distracted herself from Taemin and Minzy who seems like having fun with each other by making herself busy with the food. Taemin is right, she was never the one who have a big appetite but today she just felt it just the only way that she could figure out. Yes, she is indeed jealous towards Minzy who gets almost all of Taemin's attention but she don't want to make it obvious to others though it already does.

 

Krystal and Amber already exchange glances with each other while Luna kept her gaze at Sulli since then. The only person who's oblivious about this is Taemin. Of course they will noticed. Sulli doesn't speak a word to Taemin since they stepped at the garden for their lunch and that's not normal for her if you are asking. Luna took a glance at Amber and mouthed, ' She's jealous ? ' while Amber just replied with a quick nod. ' Wae ? ' She asked again and Amber mouthed, ' Molla.'

The three of them dragged Sulli along with them towards the washroom after that before their lunch end, “ We'll meet you at the class Taem. “

Said Luna before pushed Sulli towards the ladies.

“ I didn't feel like going in. Why are you dragging me with you ? “ Sulli asked in confused.

“ Did you like Taemin ? “

“ Woah ! What was that ? “

“ Answer us. “

“ I'm not. I've told you many times ... “

“ No. Think about it again. Not a tiny bit ? “

“ What's wrong with you girls ? “ She asked again slightly terrified with their questions.

“ But those glances that you gave. It only meant one thing .. “ Krystal said looking at Sulli, “ That you were jealous. “

“ Huh ? “ Sulli was totally clueless of what they were talking about.

“ Back at the lunch time. You were looking at Taemin differently. “

“ Yah ! You guys were observing me ? “

“ The point is .. You were obviously jealous at him and Minzy. “

“ I'm not. “ 

That doesn't sounds convincing to them, “ Alright. You caught me there. I'm jealous of them but only because he ignored me back there. “

“ Just that ? Are you sure because I could feel it was something more than that. “

“ I can't believe this. You still think that I like him in that way ? “

“ Only because it shows us that you were in love with him. “

“ For the last time. I didn't like Taemin that way. Gosh ! I'm done with you girls. I'm out of here. “

 

Sulli was frustrated at that moment and decides to just walked away but she didn't know what's the real reason for her to get so frustrated. Her heart felt so uncomfortable as if it being squashed by a rock.

* What's happening to me ? *

The girls who was surprised by her action quickly followed her from behind, “ Ssul .. wait up. “ Luna tried to catching up with her.

“ Why so fast Ssul ? “ Krystal followed afterwards and able to stops her by grab on her wrist.

“ What's wrong Ssul ? “ She asked Sulli who just looked down on the floor.

“ Did we upset you that much ? “ Amber took turn to asked before turned to Luna who's suddenly let out a gasped.

“ Ssul .. are you .. c-crying ? “

Both Krystal and Amber was surprised with what they heard and quickly tilted Sulli's face up so that they can get a better view.

“ Sulli ... “

“ I don't even know why did I'm crying .... “

She cried out loud this time, hugging Amber who's been standing at her side.

The homeroom teacher and even the whole class had been informed that Sulli need to be excused from the lesson because she is unwell and that news doesn't sounds pleasing in Taemin's ears. In fact, he is dead worried by now, * She looks fine just now .. *

 

He took a glance at Luna, trying to get her attention but it was useless since Luna just kept her gaze at the teacher who's teaching at the moment , while his other hope which is Krystal were so into their lesson, and even busy taking notes.

* Darn ! How should I know what had happened to her then ? *

 

He decided to try the last resort. Tearing a piece of paper from his note book, writing something really fast on it before throw it towards Luna. She was startled by the thing that had hit on her hand. Quickly she hided the crumpled paper before the teacher noticed it. When the teacher didn't look, she hurriedly read the note.

 

 

What happened to Sulli ??

- Taemin -

 

 

Luna just want to ignored the note but when she looked at Taemin's worried face she felt slightly guilty and decides to just replied his note and throw it back to him.

 

Nothing bad. Just a light headache.

Don't worry. She's fine.

- Luna -

 

 

Though he was told to not feel worry for Sulli he just can't. He couldn't concentrate with the lesson, not at times like this. There's one thing that can only make him feel at ease, and he's gonna do it right now, “ Mrs Lee, may I go to the toilet ? “

“ Sure. “

Just like a flash of light, he took the cue to dashed out of the class. Luna and Krystal saw this and they were face palmed themselves because they knew the exact place that he is heading to right now.

“ Didn't we agree not to tell him unnie ? “

“ I know .. but he looks so pitiful. He will go there even if we didn't tell him anyway. “

Apparently their conversation has been caught by the teacher, “ Ms Jung, Ms Park .. Should we continue with the lesson ? “

The School's Clinic

 

He knew just the right place to go and luckily he wasn't wrong. Sulli was there, lying on the bed with  the back of her arm covering part of her face. Slowly, he made his steps further and stops right next to her bed. He didn't wake her up, too afraid if that would only makes her headache worsen than it already is. So he just took a seat and watch her from the side.

 

* Luna had lied to me. She doesn't look fine. *

He pouted with the fact that Luna just want to ease his worries by told a lie. Sulli doesn't looks that ill, but he just knew that something was wrong with her and he felt sad because he couldn't figure out what's the thing. He just noticed that she looks awful, she is frowning and to him it doesn't suits her at all. Her beautiful face has been covered up by that frown face.

 

Little that he knew, Sulli was totally aware of his presence but decided to just pretend that she didn't by faking a sleep. Of course she would by the time she caught a familiar fragrance around her. The all time favorite ' Giorgio Armani Acqua ' that only Lee Taemin would use though she must admit that she likes that scents on him very much. Now, back to the story, she don't want him to see her at this condition, where she gets a puffy eyes. He will knew right away that she just done with crying and she don't know how to answer him if he ask the reason because she, herself also didn't sure of it either. So the best way is to just faked a sleep while covering her eyes with the back of her arms, placing on top of her face besides trying her best to control her breath which become shallow out of sudden. * At least he's still cared for me .. That's .. a good thing I guess ... * Deep inside she knew that her heart was jolted with happiness with his concerns towards her and she glad that it still there in him.

 

3 hours has passed and it's not a surprise that both Sulli and Taemin had fallen asleep after that. With Taemin head landed on Sulli's bed while Sulli's arm was now no where on her face anymore, both were sleeping soundly in the clinic. At first the nurse was shocked to see there's a boy next to Sulli but decided not to bother since he already fall asleep.

 

“ Owh, has the class ends ? “ She asked when Luna, Krystal and Amber steps inside the clinic.

“ Dae. We are here to bring Jinri back home. “

“ She's still sleeping. Owh, her friend is here too ... “

The nurse lead the way to Sulli's bed.

“ Owh, both of them are sleeping. “

“ Should we wake them up ? “

“ Let's leave them for a moment. “

“ Sometimes I wonder who did Taemin like the most ? “

“ Yeah, even Sulli. It's hard to figure out her real feelings. “

“ Shouldn't love is simple ? “

“ Not really .. well, it is, only if that person have the courage to have it for his/her own. “

The nurse just listens to the girls' conversation with confusion on her face but soon to figured out by her own once she noticed who did they referred to which eventually makes her to smile at it.

 

 

[ Flashback ]

 

Amber dragged Sulli away from the hallway when she noticed they were being the center of attention to the student who walked passed by them. She lead her towards the music room which was empty at the moment, of course Luna and Krystal were following them from behind.

 

“ Someone, give her some tissue. “ Said Amber when she noticed part of her uniform were already wet with Sulli's tears.

Luna took out a pack of tissue that she always carries and gave it to Sulli.

“ Thanks unnie. “ She took it with her trembled hand.

“ Do you want to talk about it Ssul ? “

“ I .. don't know what just happened. “

“ Slowly .. we are here to listen. “

“ Suddenly, I felt ... upset .. “

“ Of what exactly ? “

“ I don't know ... “

“ Taemin probably ? “

Krystal uttered which caught Sulli's attention before hesitantly she nodded to it.

“ Maybe ... I'm not sure. “

“ Is it because he constantly spending his time with Minzy and less with you ? “

 

It's been almost a week now and within the week Sulli could see the changes in Taemin. Like what had Luna said, he had spends most of his time with Minzy and not with his best friend anymore and that bothered Sulli the most. She hate to admit it but it seems like her best friend had go farther away from her. What makes her upset the most is that he didn't kept his promise of staying by her sides no matter what. He just forget about her when he is with Minzy.

 

“ Ssul .. you can't act this way. Of course he had to be with her almost every time. He is currently courting her. You can't blame him on that. He is trying his best to shows his sincerity towards Minzy. He got no choice but to left you out sometimes ... temporarily of course. “

“ I know .. but still .. I don't know why did I feel like want him only for me. I will easily get jealous when suddenly other girl get his attention. “

“ Of course you will. He's been with you for almost 5 years now and out of sudden it's change. But you will also act the same if you are at his place. Believe me. “

“ But .. the worst part is ... I just don't feel right about Minzy. “

“ Huh ? “

“ He asked me once ... my opinion about Minzy and I just froze there .. nothing come out from my mouth ... “

“ Sulli ... “

“ My heart suddenly aches hearing he said her name ... Why is that unnie ? “

Amber didn't know how to answer her although she already had the answer in her mind. She just don't want to make the girl more confused with her situation which is obviously unfamiliar to her.

“ Let's just leave that for later ok. “

“ Huh ? “

“ We already late for class. “

“ But ... “

“ We'll talk about this again. You had enough for a day. “

“ A-Alright. “

“ Now, what excuses that we gonna to give to the saeng ? “ Krystal asked looking at Luna and Amber.

“ I don't want to walk in the class with puffy eyes. “ Sulli mumbled while pointing at her eyes.

“ Problem solved. “ Said Amber which made the girls' to looked at her.

“ Dae ? “

“ Leave it to me. Hehe. “

 

So, it was all Amber's idea to fake Sulli's sudden sickness to the teacher so that they have an excuse to be given when the teacher ask for their lateness and it obviously works on them, with the evidence of Lee Taemin's worries over his best friend. Poor him for being part of the people who get fooled by the girls. Well, at least, they got something from it. Sulli got to know that her best friend doesn't completely leave her aside. He still showed his cares for her. But of course, lied to the teacher was not a right thing to do at the first place but since they have no other choice, we can let it slide.

 

[ End Of Flashback ]

 

“ You're awake ? “

“ Huh ? What time is it ? “

“ It's already pass by 5. “

“ Really ? Oh my I'm over slept. “

She turned to her side, to look for her phone but the sight that welcomed her has made her smiled.

“ Was he here all along ? “

The nurse just nodded before continue to pack her stuff and that made Sulli to realized something.

“ Owh .. I'm sorry. I'll be heading back right now. Sorry for staying here long. “

“ Oh no .. no .. That's fine. I was about to wake you up just now but you woke up by yourself. “

“ I better call them. “

Sulli mumbled by herself while dialing a number on her phone.

“ Unnie ... where are you ? Let's go back. “

“ We're home Sulli ... “

“ Mwo ? You leave me ?! “

Her sudden shrieked had made Taemin to startled a little bit but that doesn't make him woke up from his sleep.

“ Why are you leaving me ... with him ? “

This time she spoke in whispers trying not to bother the sleeping Taemin next to her.

“ I just thought you need a quality time with him .. Isn't that a good idea ? “

“ No. “

“ Now what's wrong with it ? Why did you sound so awkward with him ? “

“ I think I am .. you know .. after I cried because of him for out of reason .. I just don't know what to do. “

“ Whatever it is .. you need to go back now ... with him. “

“ Alright. Guess I have no other choice left. “

“ Great. See you later. “

“ Yeah .. see you. Bye. “

Her gaze turned towards him once the line dead.

“ Taemin .. “ She shook his shoulder but there's no sign of he might getting up.

She shook once again but this time with more effort, “ Taeminnie ... Wake up. “

“ Sulli ? “

“ Let's go home. “

“ I'm sleepy. Let's sleep some more. “

“ Babo. We are in the school clinic. “

He rubbed his sleepy eyes before slowly turning his gaze around the place, making him jolted in surprised.

 

 

“ Stop it. I'm fine. “

She swatted his hand from her forehead while laughing at his worried face.

“ I'm just checking you up. Are you sure you don't have any fever ? No pain anywhere ? “

“ Aish .. How many times should I say this to you ... I'm fine Lee Taemin. “

“ Really ? Really ... really ? “

She nodded still chuckling at him.

“ What are you laughing at ? I'm dead worried for you if you noticed. “

“ Obviously ... it shown. Sorry for that. I can't help but to laugh at your worried face. It's funny. “

He didn't laugh along with her like he used to whenever she mocked him but keep on staring at her face.

“ Is there something on my face ? “

“ I like your smiling face better than your frowning face. I always hate that. You look ugly with that. “

She didn't say a thing but just continue to flash a smile.

“ Tell me what's wrong Ssul ? “

That made herself to stop walking. She didn't thought that Taemin will noticed this.

“ There's ... “

“ Don't tell me that there's nothing wrong with you. I'm tired of that. Please, I'm your best friend .. and I hate it when you kept it by yourself. “

“ I don't know ... I feel like .. “

“ Like ? “

“ You're starting to neglecting me. “

“ I did not. “

“ You did to. You ditch me for Minzy. “

“ Hey, ditch is a strong word Sulli and I did not neglected you. “

“ Then explain why did I always found out that you were with Minzy all the time, like .. everyday ? “

“ What ? Are you jealous of Minzy because of the attention that I gave her ? “

Both of them wasn't expected that to came out but neither of them doesn't felt it's wrong either.

“ Yes I am. So fix that out Lee Taemin. My heart aches because of you two. “

“ What am I supposed to do ? Tell me ! “

F(x)'s House

 

The loud slammed of the door had woken the sleepy Amber who's at the moment have her head rested on Key's lap. Key who was in shocked as well, turned to looked at the culprit who causes the loud noise that had woken up his princess,

“ Are you trying to break the door Choi Sulli ? My baby were startled because of you. “

He threw his diva tantrum before turned back to check on his girl who's right now already sat straight next to him.

“ Sulli ? “

Amber realized the frown face that was plastered on Sulli's face but before she can ask further, the younger one quickly went away, stomping her feet towards her room.

“ Something is not right. “ Murmured Amber while glancing at Key.

“ It's not my fault. I'm just pissed since she disturbing your sleep. “

Amber heaved a sigh, “ It's not that oppa. It was something else, and I've got a feelings that it is related with Taemin. “

He shot a confused stares upon hearing his maknae's name.

“ Taemin ? “

 

 

Shinee's House

 

Meanwhile, at the boys' house, “ What's happening up there ? “

“ I don't know. He just dashed towards his room once he get back. “

Jonghyun and Minho were currently having their eyes fixated on Taemin's room, wondering of the reason behind the slammed on the door. But, before the startled that they were having earlier manage to settle down,

“ DAMN IT !! “

 

They were totally jolted with another surprised with Taemin's sudden shouts and not just because of that, their eyes has widened in shocked due to the loud sounds, that was obviously coming from that room. And as if it's a cue for them to burst into Taemin's room when the sounds that they heard earlier didn't seems like going to stop.

 

“ What's going on in here ? “

 

Before their eyes, everything was not in the place, books were scattered on the floor, the blanket were hanging by the edge of the bed and a picture frame was rested on the bed, upside down. Their eyes that at first were traveling around the messy room has eventually falls on the lad that just sat by the window, while hugging his knee closer to his chest, with his head hung low.

 

“ T-Taemin ... “

“ Why is she acting this way ? “

Taemin suddenly muttered which cause the hyungs to be in confusion and worried looking at him in that state.

He finally looked up, meeting the hyungs eyes, “ Why is that Choi Sulli acting as if she's the only one who's hurting ? “

He let it out, all that he felt, his anger, his sorrow, it's all been thrown out.

“ She doesn't know anything Taemin. You must remember that. “ Key's sudden voice has caught the attention of all of them.
