A Year After

 

 

Victoria was staring at her phone for about an hour already but still there's no calls from him. She was like that since a week

ago because she didn't received any news from him since that. She then looked at the laptop to check for any incoming mails in

her inbox but she was left disappointed when there's not even a single from him.

 

She was so worried about it. It's not like she didn't try to call him but it was him who didn't take her call. She even asked the boys

about it but what she received is only ' He was busy for the exam ' from both of them. But deep inside her she know it was

something more than just being a busy student.

 

She decided to call So Eun after that. Yeah, their relationship become better after she left Barcelona and So Eun was so glad to

have Victoria as her friend more like as a sister.

 

 

“ Hello .. Unnie !!! “

So Eun was screaming excitedly on the other line.

“ Aigoo .. I'm gonna be deaf if you keep on doing that .. hihi. “

“ I miss you. Don't you wanna come to Barcelona again to meet me ? “

“ Haha .. why don't you comeback to Korea instead of me going there. “

“ I want to .. badly .. but I guess you have to wait for another year till I get back. “

“ Arasso. I'll introduce you to my friends when that day come ok ? “

“ Hehe .. yes .. Unnie .. you're not calling me for nothing right ? “

“ Hehe .. you know me well. I just wanna ask about Onew. “

“ Huh ? What about him ? “

“ Is he really busy these days ? “

“ Eung .. our exam are getting nearer. “

“ But So Eun-ah .. I'm dead worried about him. He's not even picking up my calls nor reply to my messages. It's been a week

now. “

“ Owh .. don't worry. He's fine over here. “

“ Are you with him right now ? “

“ Right now ? Nope .. I'm with Kim Bum oppa .. hehe “

“ Kim Bum ? Owh .. your handsome boyfriend ? “

“ Eung .. hehe .. “

“ Ok then .. send my regards to him. I'll hang up now. I have a lot of works actually but I make some time for you .. hihi. “

“ Aww .. how sweet .. keke .. ok .. by unnie. “

 

 

She tried to stop think about Onew for a moment and continued to do her works.

 

“ Victoria unnie ! “

“ Owh you shocked me. “

She was shocked when suddenly Sooyoung burst into her room.

“ Hey ! Don't do that again. “

“ Sorry .. hehe .. I just want to pass this to you. “

She handed a bouquet of flowers to her.

“ Who gave me this ? “

“ I don't know. I don't even able to ask his name. I met him at the lobby and he ask my help to give this to you. “

“ Really ? Hmm .. there's no name either. “

“ Maybe one of your secret admire ? “

“ I don't think I have one. “

“ Duh ! That's why it's called secret admire ..hihi .. I'll go now. I'm sure Changmin oppa are waiting for me. “

She just watched Sooyoung leaved her room before looked back the bouquet.

“ I wonder who is it from ? “

She just put the bouquet aside and just do her works.

“ Unnie ! Where are you ? “

“ I'm at the restaurant right now. Aren't you're the one who asked me to buy the chicken for you just now ? “

“ I know .. but you have to come back home fast after you done with that. “

“ Why ? “

“ Because there's a guy in our house .. waiting for you. “

“ What ? “

“ Who is he ? “

“ I don't know. “

“ Don't you ask his name ? “

“ I did but he refused to answer till he see you. “

“ Aish .. didn't I tell you not to bring any stranger in house ? What if he's some kind of robbers or psycho ? “

“ Unnie .. he was way far from it. He looks too kind to me. “

“ Yah ! Bad people didn't have to tell you that he's bad. Anyway .. are you alone ? “

“ No .. with the girls and the boys. “

“ Great. Glad that you have some back up if he meant to harm you. Just wait a little more I'll be back. “

Victoria rushed back to her house because she was worried about her dongsaengs' safety.

“ Who is that guy ? Is he my friend ? “

She walked into the house soon after she parks her car.

“ You guys are alright ? “

“ Haha .. didn't I told you that we're fine. I even told you that he doesn't looks like a bad guy. “

Sulli was laughing at how worried she is.

“ Aish .. so where is he ? “

“ He's at your room now. “

“ What ? “

“ You let a stranger to get into my room ? “

“ He said he knows you well .. so .. “

Victoria just shook her head in disbelieved and headed towards the room after that.

 

She slowly turned the door knob and took a peek at her room. She saw the guy who was right now had his back facing her.

He is wearing a blue checkered shirt with a black jeans. The girls are right, he doesn't look harmful to her. He was right now

looking at her photo on the wall. She gathered her courage and walked into the room,

 

“ Excuse me .. are you looking for me ? “

She asked as she's approaching him.

 

She was standing at the right side of the bed while he stood at the left side of the bed. That guy then turned to looked at her with

a wide grinned. She was stunned for a moment before reached out for the Pororo on her bed and threw it to him which hit right

on his chest.

 

“ Ouch ! What was that ? “

Instead of answering it, she just took another small pillow and throw it to him but luckily he able to catch it.

“ Why are you throwing stuff to me ? Aren't you glad to meet me ? You're supposed to give me a big hug by this time and not

threw things at me. “

“ Why should I hug a selfish guy like you ? Why should I be glad to meet a boyfriend who neglected his own girlfriend ? “

“ Aww .. my Honey is mad at me I guess. “

He walked approaching her but Victoria quickly turned her body, don't even want to looked at him.

“ Honey .. look at me. “

She just ignored him.

He then turned her to face him but she turned herself back.

“ I miss you .. don't do this to me. “

“ Well I don't miss you at all. “

She do a merong and pushed him away, caused him to fell on the bed.

 

Victoria give a death glare to him before walked away but he managed to pulled her towards him and made her lie down on the

bed next to him. He then wrapped both of his arms around her which cause her to struggled the whole time.

 

“ Yah ! Let me go ! “

“ No. I want to hug you. I really miss you, so I don't want to let you go even though you hit me as may times as you want, I still

don't care. “

That made Victoria to stop hitting him and stared at his face.

“ I hate you ! “

“ I love you ! “

“ You're a bad boyfriend. “

“ You're a good girlfriend. “

“ Onew ! “

“ Victoria ! “

Both of them then chuckled at each other.

“ What are we doing right now ? “

“ Let me see .. hugging ? “

Victoria let out another chuckle to him.

“ You're not mad anymore right ? “

She just shook her head.

“ Why are you here ? I thought you're busy with your exam ? “

“ Isn't it obvious ? I was here for you. “

“ What about your exam then ? “

“ Hehe .. the truth is there's no such thing as an exam. I just made it up. “

“ What ? So they're also into this? “

She was referring to So Eun and the boys.

“ Yup. And also our dongsaengs here. “

“ Mwo ? But why ? “

“ I just want to test you a bit. Wanna see whether you're going to miss me or not if I'm not contacting you. “

She give a light smacked on his head.

“ Thanks a lot for worrying me. “

“ If you worried it means that you really love me. “

“ Did you know how I was so worried, waiting for your calls all week ? “

“ I know and I'm sorry. I just want to tease you a bit. “

“ I even thought that you might have someone else already. “

“ Don't you trust me ? “

“ I do trust you .. that's why I put that thought away. “

“ Hehe .. anyway .. do you like the flowers ? “

“ That was you ? “

He nodded.

“ And Sooyoung was pulling a great act just now. “

“ Don't be mad at her. I told her not to tell you. “

“ Aish .. just let me go now. “

“ No .. let's stay like this for a moment. I told you right ? I miss you. “

 

She smiled at him and let him to hugged her while staring at each other's eyes. Suddenly Onew had this urge to kiss her so he

get himself closer to her. Victoria know what he's gonna do so she just let him and closed her eyes.

His lips was only few centimeters from her when,

 

“ Are you guys .. WOAH !! “

Both of them were startled by that and caused Onew to fell down on the floor because Victoria accidentally pushed him away.

“ Ouch ! Honey ! “

“ Sorry ! That Dino made me startled. “

“ Hehe .. sorry guys. I came at a wrong time I guess. “

“ You think ? “

Onew tried to get himself up with Victoria's help.

“ What do you want ? You just ruined it. “

Onew said with a disappointment while Victoria just chuckled at it tried to hide her embarrassment.

“ We are hungry already. We were waiting for you like for an ages down there. “

“ Arasso. We'll be down in a moment. “

“ Make it fast. “

They let Jonghyun to walked off first.

“ I should just lock the door if I know that gonna happen. “

“ Stop whining and let's go down now. “

“ Not until I get what I want just now. “

“ Later ok ? “

“ No. I waited enough for a year and I missed it a lot. “

“ Aigoo .. you're so cute you know that ? “

“ Beobeo !! “ He puffed his cheek.

Victoria just smiled and put her arms around his neck before pulled him into kiss that she was also missed.

 

 

Onew took his school break as his chance to meet his one and only love and here is he right now, embracing his girl hoping that

it would cure his longing for her. Onew had a year more to finished his studies at Barcelona and sometimes he couldn't help but

to feels bad for Victoria who's patiently waiting for him even though she already assured him that she's willing to do so and it

was all because of her love for him.

 

Victoria can't stop from worrying about Onew when he was away from her but she was glad that there's always people that she

trusts to take a good care of him which is her friends including So Eun who she took as her own dongsaeng. Both of them was

already used to the long distanced relationship although it was hard at first but they managed to cope it after day by day.

All they need to do is to just keep on having faith and loving each other.

“ Do you have to took about 10 minutes to go down ? “

Krystal asked with a smirked on her face.

“ I'm sure you guys were having your moment before come here right ? “

Jonghyun joined Krystal to teased the Ontoria.

“ Yah ! Stop it ! Just eat now. “

“ Look what noona got for you hyung. Chicken .. hehe “

“ No I got that for Sulli. “

“ Well .. I asked you to buy it for Onew oppa actually .. hehe “

Sulli and Taemin give each other a high five while the rest just laughed at them.

“ You got a huge back up huh ? “

“ Well what can I do ? They love me so much. “

“ So where are we after this ? “

Minho asked the rest their plan.

Onew took a quick glance at Amber who seems so silence since the moment he stepped into the house.

“ I'm planning on visiting Key. “

“ I guess that's a good idea since you didn't see him for awhile. “

“ I feel bad. I should be here at that time. “

“ No hyung .. We're at fault too for not letting you know about it earlier. We just don't want to you to worried since you're busy

with your project at that time. “

Jonghyun patted his back to comfort him.

Summary :  

Onew had secretly love Victoria for about 6 years

but things didn't turned out as he expected on the night he made his confession.

What the reasons behind her rejection ?

First, she was surprised and she was hoping for some time to think about his sudden confession.

Second, she become mad when Onew decides to leaved her and went to Barcelona.

Victoria let the anger to controlled herself  on that night so that Onew will feels guilty

for hurting her feelings.

Little that she didn't know, there's always a love kind of feelings inside her heart for Onew.

And she only realized it when he's away from her.

She was fortunate to be able to meet Onew at Barcelona and she took the opportunity that she had

to correct things between Onew and herself.

 

Both of them are happy with each other although they're in a long distance relationship.

But, their longing will be end soon since Onew only had another year left till graduate.
