“ Umma, Amber unnie messed up the kitchen ! “

“ Unnie. why did you being covered by flour ? “

The four of them were staring at Amber who's currently stood frozen in front of them.

“ Err .. Welcome home girls .. hehe “

 

 

“ I can't believe this .. we only left for only about couple of hours. “

Victoria still nagging at Amber.

“ Are you sure you did this because seems like it was caused by a hurricane. “

Sulli were mocking her unnie which then she received a light smack from Amber by the spatula that she's holding.

“ Hyung ! “

She just do a merong to the younger one which cause the rest of the girls to chuckle.

“ Mind to explain Amber ? “

“ Fine. I just want to bake something for Key since he was alone in the house right now. “

 

That's right, Minho and Jonghyun were in their school and they are not going back at home until evening. Onew already went

back to Barcelona few days ago while Taemin, he was currently at his parents' house since yesterday which obviously left out

Key alone in the house.

 

“ But, I don't see any evidence of cooking happening in here. It seems like a food fight to me. “

Luna blurted out while laughing at Amber.

“ I ain't cleaning this. “

Krystal already made her way towards her room.

“ Sorry unnie, but I'm pretty tired today. “

Sulli followed her from behind which cause Amber to looked at them in bewildered.

“ I can't believe that they're my dongsaengs. “

She mumbled annoyingly before shifting her gaze at Luna and Victoria.

“ Umma ... Luna .. help me please .. “

She asked cutely with her puppy eyes but seems like it didn't work for both of them as Victoria just shook her head and

walked away, and Luna, well she was a little bit kinder than Victoria.

“ I'll help you with the dishes. “

“ Huh ? What about the floor ? The sink ? The table ? “

She pointed at the messes that she's created.

“ Want it or not ? “

Luna was blackmailing her which caused Amber to immediately agreed to it. It was better than no help at all.

“ Call me when you're done ok. “

“ But, what should I do now ? “

“ Why don't you clean this place first before you start over with the cook. “

“ Good idea. “

Luna just chuckle looking at Amber who's right now cleaning the kitchen.

“ So, what actually did you want to make for him ? “

“ Cupcakes. “

“ Alright. I hope you know what you're doing. I'll be in my room ok. “

“ Don't worry .. I got it all under cover .. hehe “

She showed a piece of paper which Luna believed it was the cupcakes recipes which obviously taken from the Internet.

 

 

After about two hours, “ OMG ! IT'S SO PRETTY !! “

 

She was admiring her own handmade cupcakes in front of her eyes. She made the chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting and

a little bit of pink sprinkles on top of it since Key loves Pink which obviously everybody aware of it. She put the cupcakes nicely

into a box that she bought earlier before putting it aside and continue to cleaned up the kitchen. Once she's done with the

cleaning, she dashed towards her room to take a shower and get ready once she's done with the bath.

 

“ I wonder why he didn't call me or even messaging me today. “

She heaved a sighed when she thinks about that.

“ Maybe, he's asleep. “

“ Oh, well, I'm sure he will like my surprise .. hehe ! “

 

“ Thanks Luna. “

She gave a bear hug to Luna who's about to start washing the dishes for Amber which was luckily not much.

“ You owe me unnie. “

“ I know, that's why I leaved those for you. “

She pointed at the extra cupcakes that was nicely arranged in a plate on top of the table.

 

Luna gulped when she saw the food since she was not confident at all with Amber's cooking. Remember last time when all the

girls were having a stomach ache because of Amber's food ? They were suffered because of the diarrhea on that time. So,

Luna was afraid the same incidence might befall her again.

 

“ Make sure you eat those ok. Tell the girls too. I'll be going now. Bye. “

She was skipping happily towards the boys' house but her track was stopped when she noticed something near by the house.

 

“ Whose car is this ? “

She looked at the white mini cooper with a furrowed brows.

“ Maybe, someone parks it here. Oh, well. “

 

She continues her tracks by walking towards the door. She waited for about few seconds before the door being opened by

her boyfriend.

“ Hey, what brings you here ? “

He asked in a smile.

“ I'm here because ... uhh .. “

 

She spotted a Grey stiletto right at the entrance before shifted back her gaze on Key who's been smiling like an idiot at her.

 

“ Is someone here ? With you ? “

She asked hesitantly with a suspicious tone.

“ You are so gonna like this .. hehe “

Said Key before he dragged Amber towards the living room.

 

Amber was stunned once she was there when she saw the person in front of her.

She was so surprised to see, “ Yoona unnie ? “

Yoona just smiled at her before walked towards Amber and give a big hugged.

“ What's with your reaction dongsaeng ? Don't you glad to see me ? “

“ I am .. I just .. err .. surprised. “

“ Hehe .. sorry for not letting you know. I was planning on visiting you girls after this but you caught me first. Actually, I have

a break for a week and I'll be heading back to Jeju after that. “

“ Owh .. I see .. “

“ Sorry if I'm coming to see Key first before you .. “

Yoona took a glance at Key before she leaned closer to Amber and said, “ I just miss my boyfriend so much. “

It was soft enough and only Amber could hears those while Key just looked at both of them suspiciously.

“ Yah .. what's with the whispering ? “

He pulled both of them away from each other.

“ So, why are you here ? “

Key asked while looking at her in curiosity.

“ Huh ? Why .. I am here ? Err .. “

She tried to recalled back her reasons to be in that house but seems like her brain was jammed once she saw Yoona.

“ What's that ? “

Key spotted the box that she's been holding to.

“ Owh .. right .. here .. “

Immediately she handed the box to him. Key couldn't even manage to take a look on the thing when Amber start to speak

again, “ I just want to give you this. So, I guess .. I'll be going now. “

“ Wait ! Why ? Are you not going to stay ? “

He asked before reached out for her hand and squeezed it gently.

Amber have to detached his hands off her since Yoona was there looking at them.

“ Err .. I got something else to do with the girls. Anyway, Yoona unnie is here right ? Spend your time with her. “

“ Mwo ? “

“ Ok .. I'll heading out. Bye unnie. “

She quickly bid a goodbye to Yoona.

“ I'll come over your house afterwards. “

Amber just nodded to her before lead her way towards the door followed by Key from behind.

“ Baby .. “

Key stops her before she walked away.

“ Is everything alright ? “

“ Yeah ! “

“ I guess .. I'll see you later ? “

She just nodded with a smile and made her steps after that.

 

 

“ What's that ? “

Yoona asked as soon as Key walked back in the house.

“ I don't know. “

Gently he open up the box and the smiles automatically formed in his face once he saw what's in it.

“ Cupcakes. “

He uttered shortly while taking out one of it to show it to Yoona.

“ And it's pink .. haha “

He chuckled with the thought that Amber gave him his favorite color.

“ Let's try some. “

He gave Yoona one of it while taking another for himself.

“ Cheers. “

 

Both of them do a little cheers before shoving the cake into their mouth. Both of them happen to looked at each other after

they took a bite of it. Their expression was indescribable while their mouth still munching the food. Key couldn't take it anymore

and he just have to spits the cake out of his mouth while Yoona was kind enough to swallow it even though it's really hard for

her.

 

“ What is this ? It taste so ... urghh ! It was bitter yet not well cooked ? “

He looked at Yoona who's already dropping down the cupcake on top of the table.

“ But, it looks so pretty. “

“ Where did she bought this thing anyway ? “

He didn't have a clue at all that Amber was the one who made that.

“ I'll better put this away before someone might get a serious stomach ache because of this. “

He put the box on top of the kitchen counter and decided to get rid of it after Yoona went off.

“ What I'm trying to do here ? “

 

She hit her head lightly for many times trying to get everything that messing up her minds to vanish. She feels so awkward

when she met Yoona just now but that's not the reason for her to excused herself from them. The truth is, she just want the two

of them to spends their time together because she knows that Yoona were missing him so badly. She knows there are some

possibilities that Yoona might spilled something that unnecessary for Key to hears. Something that will ruined her relationship

with him. Something that probably will took Key away from her life and yet, she couldn't figure out why is she's still letting it

happen even though she clearly realized those fact.

 

Everything were mixed up. Part of herself were being selfish and want to keep Key with her but part of another keep on telling

her to stops with what she's doing.

 

“ I wonder what are they doing right now ? “

 

There's another thing that keep bugging her minds. Yes, it was her jealousy towards Yoona and Key. They seems to clicked with

each other just now and looks a lot comfortable with each other compare to the past days which slightly made her to feels

uncomfortable. Of course, as a girlfriend she will feels that way.

 

* But, Yoona unnie might feels the same when she saw Key being so sweet to me just now. *

Her eyes flutter opens when she felt the sudden cold breezes touched her body.

“ Huh ? “

She looked around the places before took a glance at her watch.

“ Aishh !! I've fallen asleep at this place ? “

She then realized that the sky are starting to get dark.

“ I wonder if Key .. huh ?! “

Her eyes widened when she noticed there are about 20 missed calls and 10 messages and all of those are from Key.

“ I am so a dead meat. “

Immediately she get on her feet but just when she's about to walked off from that place,

“ Why did you always made me worried ? “

 

“ Are you mad ? “

“ Can't you tell by looking at my face ? “

“ I didn't do it on purpose. I had fallen asleep and my phone were set to the silent mode. “

“ So, what's the use of having a phone with you ? You will always set it to the silent mode. And I know why. You purposely did

that so that we can't reach you, so that you have an excuse to give later right ? “

 

Thought what he says was right since that's what she's been doing usually but right now, it was different. The phone were

turned to different mode accidentally when she's trying to browse her phone and she's totally forget to set the mode back to

normal.

 

“ I'm sorry. “

That's the only words that came out from .

She want to defended herself but she's afraid that might make Key to be more furious at her.

Key just glared at her who's been looking down on her shoes since the time he gave his tantrum.

“ Thank God I was able to remember this place. “

He continues when she didn't responds and still keeping her head hung low.

“ You should hug me by this moment. “

He said while looking away.

She tilted her head and looked at his face. She examined his expression first before hesitantly putting her hands around his body.

“ Please stop being mad at me. “

Key then ruffled her hairs before wrapping both of his hands around her.

“ Then, stop doing things that will make me worry. “

“ I can't promise that. “

“ Then, so do I. “

Both of them just chuckle at their words before pulled away from the hug.

 

“ Tell me what's been bothering you and I don't want to hear a ' Nothing ' as your answer. “

 

He had to warned since he will always left disappointed with her answers. She's been keeping a lot of her problems by herself

and Key was absolutely hate that idea. Amber just decides to tell the truth since he insist but of course she's not going to tell the

whole thing.

 

“ I was kinda jealous of you two. “

She said shyly while looking away.

“ Who ? Yoona and I ? “

She nodded which then she received a chuckled from Key.

 

* I knew it. I shouldn't spills that part out. Aissh !! *

 

“ That's all ? “

“ Eung. “

“ Well, that's cute. “

“ So, .. errm .. what did you guys do after I left you ? “

She asked hesitantly tried not to sounds like a busybody.

“ Just having some chit chat .. that's all. “

“ About what ? “

“ Why are you so curious ? Come on .. I know you're not this kind of person. “

“ Yeah .. I'm not. Sorry for asking much. “ She felt embarrassed with herself.

“ You're right. I guess we are close with each other. “

Amber's eyes turned to looked at him when she hears that.

“ I saw our picture on her wallpaper and I can't help but to felt weird about it. I even get this idea that she might have a crush

on me .. hehe ! “

Key just giggles at his own statement while Amber were already felt unease once they brought Yoona as the topic.

 

If Key's phone hadn't broke because of the accident, he might right now already be with Yoona since every evidence of his

relationship with Yoona were inside there which means their pictures and the sweet messages that both of them gave to each

other which will eventually help him to regain his memory.

 

And maybe, Amber didn't have to get herself involve in this mess at the first place. But like what her friends had told her,

there's always a reason behind everything that happen in their life and maybe God purposely gave this chance for Amber to

be loved by Key.

 

“ So, what else that you did ? “

“ Owh .. we ate the cupcakes. “

“ Really ? How's .. “

“ OMG ! Amber ! Where did you get that thing ? It taste horrible. I couldn't even swallow the first bite. I spitted it out. Which

bakery that you went ? Whoever that eat those cupcakes will surely gonna end up lying down in the hospital. “

He didn't realized that his words has hurts Amber's feelings, terribly.

“ What .. did you .. said ? “

Her voice started shaken because right now she were holding back her emotion.

“ I said .. urrh .. “

He was surprised to see the changes in Amber's face. She looked annoyed from his perspective.

“ What's wrong ? “

“ Mwo ? It's taste horrible ? Yah ! I know that I'm not a great cook like you but that doesn't mean you can insults me like that. “

“ Huh ? What are you saying ? What did you have to do with this ? Owh .. Amber, by any chance .. “

“ Yes. I made those cupcakes by myself. “

He was stunned looking at Amber and didn't know what to say to her next.

He can't believe he had insulted his own girlfriend.

“ It was my first time baking and I knew, it won't taste good but I didn't expect you will gave such harsh comments to me. “

“ Amber .. I .. “

“ I'm not finish Key. I thought I will received at least a thanks from you but from what I heard just now, it was far enough from

my hope. “

“ Amber .. listen to me .. I didn't know that .. “

“ Whatever ! I'm off. “

 

She was so furious with Key and decides to just leaved from that place. Key immediately ran after her but he quickly backs away

when he received a death glare from Amber. He just watched Amber went off the place with her bike in frustration.

 

“ Darn ! How should I know she's the one whose making those when she doesn't even tell me about it at the first place. “

 

“ Now, what should I do ? “

He waited in front of her room for about an hour already but Amber still being a stubborn head. She could hears his voice

begging for her forgiveness but she just ignored it.

 

“ It was so hard to bake those and he easily insulted my cooking. “

 

“ Stupid Key !! “

She buried her face on the pillow with one of her hand punching it continuously.

 

“ Baby, I'm sorry. “

 

That's the last thing that she heard from him and she was curious why does he stops. After awhile, she walked towards the door

and slowly turned the door knob before peeking out the room by the door. She could sees clearly that Key were being dragged

away by Sulli and Victoria, with Victoria's hand cupping his mouth towards the main door and she was having fun with the

sights that welcomed her.

 

“ Omo .. poor that Mr Diva. Hehe ! “

“ You should have gave your sympathy to our ears too unnie. His voice is killing us ! “

Krystal suddenly popped out from the next room which eventually made Amber to startled

“ Aish this ice princess. You're scaring me you know that ? “

“ Nope. “

She retorts nonchalantly before walked into her room back.

“ You !! “

Once again she was startled but this time it was because of Victoria.

She's straighten her back when she sees the leader walked towards her with an annoyed expression.

“ Whatever that happen between you two make sure to settle that A.S.A.P ! Got that ?! I will make sure to break his bone if he

come here and making noises once again. “

“ Just forgive him unnie. You will be happy that way. In fact everyone will. “

Sulli spoke with her lazy tone before walked into her room followed by Victoria.

Amber noticed that Luna were peeking through her door after that, “ What's wrong with you two ? “

“ Cupcakes. “

“ Mwo ? “

“ He insulted my cupcakes ! “

“ That's it ? Aissh ! I can't believe you guys ! The same old Keyber !! “

She was about to get back into her room when suddenly she remembered of something,

“ Luna, what do you think of my cupcakes ? Key said it was horrible ! “

“ Can I tell you the truth ? “

“ Yes ! “

“ Don't be mad ok ? “

“ I promise ! “

“ It was bitter and .. “

“ It must be because of the extra chocolates. So, it's not that bad right ? “

“ It was unnie. It was not well cooked. “

“ Huh ? What ?! “

“ Don't you taste it by yourself first before send it to him ? “

Amber just shook her head.

“ I couldn't eat it unnie.. it's better for you to taste it by yourself if you're still curious. “

Luna quickly close her door to avoid anymore questions from Amber.

Amber spitted the cake out of after she took a bite of it.

“ Why does it taste like this ??!! “

She even gurgle with a cup of water after that because like what Key and Luna says, it does taste bad.

“ He was right. It was horrible ! Aissh ! I shouldn't have to get angry at him if I know it taste like this. “

“ But, at least, he should pretend that it was good to ease my heart. “

“ What did I put in it actually ? Why does it taste so bitter ? “

She take a look at the left over cooking chocolates inside the fridge and were jaw dropped when she read the labeled.

“ 100 % DARK CHOCOLATE ??!! “

She had mistook the chocolates when she's at the market since she was in hurry on that time.

“ I AM SUCH A BABO !! “

 

“ POOR KEY !! WHAT DID I DO ? “

“ What's wrong with you ? “

Minho asked once he spotted Key walked like a zombie towards the living room.

“ Amber is mad at me over some cupcakes. “

He couldn't help but to laughed at Key and lucky for him Key was not in the mood to nag at him.

“ Then, why are you still here ? You should be with her right now. “

“ For your information, I just being kicked out by the girls' because making too much noises in their house. “

That just made Minho to laughed at him even more.

“ I want to help you Key but I just don't know how. “

“ Aisshh ! I shouldn't insulted her cupcakes at the first place. “

“ Wait ! Did you mean the one on the kitchen counter ? “

Key just nodded to it.

“ It does taste weird to me. “

“ You ate those ? “

“ Yup but only a little bit. It does taste bad but at least she's putting her effort right ? She even gave a sweet touch on it. “

“ You mean the decoration ? Yeah ! It's really pretty but the taste is just blahhh !! “

“ That and the note too. “

Minho was about to walked away when Key stops him.

“ Wait ! Minho ! What note ? “

Minho's brows furrowed looking at Key.

“ Her note. Don't you read it ? “

“ WHAT ?! “

Key quickly rushed towards the kitchen to get the cupcakes leaving Minho dumbfounded looking at him.

 

He open up the box and looking thoroughly the cupcakes until finally he found the small note that was hidden behind one of

the cupcake. He took it out before read it.

Minho leaved him but of course after he make sure that Key was all fine.
