Year 2010

 

 

It's been almost a year now and within that year, Key and Amber decided to accepted each other presence but not in the form of

friendship and their friends cannot do anything about it as both of them were so stubborn but at least, they're happy with Key

and Amber's improvement in the relationship. Both of them were still not in a good terms but at least not until they hate each

other badly.

 

Just as been mentioned above, they didn't called themselves as friends neither do enemies, but both of them are more like an

' Annoying Buddies ' or some says ' Frienemies ' since it's in between friends and enemies. It's complicated but only they can

understand it. They will tease, mock or annoy each other until they feel the satisfaction and their friends right now were hardly

care about them but sometimes they will interfere with Keyber's matter just in the case both of them were over the limit.

f(x)'s House

 

 

Key kept on looking at the clock on the wall with his hands still working on their dinner, together with the help of Onew

and Victoria.

 

“ So where is she again ? “

He asked Victoria with his eyes shifted to the door way.

“ Who ? “

“ That tomboy. Who else ? “

“ And you're asking because .. ? “

“ If you noticed, the clock shows 7pm now and she is still not going back. “

“ Looks like someone is worried over here. “

Victoria chuckled at Onew's words that caused him to received a glare from Key and Victoria continue,

“ I really don't know where she's at right now. “

 

Key just let his curiosity pass since he's afraid if he ask for more, both Onew and Victoria might think it the wrong way.

There's tiny part in Key's heart were filled with his care for Amber. Even if they're not in a good terms, Key can't help but to also

care for her not as a friend or more than a friend but maybe he already used to have her around.

 

 

The boys were hanging out in the girls' house on that night and they decided to stay a bit late since they don't have school for

the next day. They have about 2 movies marathon after they're done with the games that they'd played. The last movie was a

thriller and everyone knows that Key had a love-hate relationship with that kind of movie. But today, instead of just bare

watching it, he just decided to take a stroll at the park.

 

“ Anyone with me ? “

He asked before headed his way out and didn't even received a single nod or shook from his friends since all of them were so into

the movie at the moment.

 

“ Fine. I'll go by myself then. “

 

Slightly pouted, he made his way towards the park while enjoying the night breezes. The truth is, Key was not in the mood on

the moment since Amber are not around for him to pick a fight.

 

“ It's kinda cold. I need a hot drink. “

 

He just passed by the park and keep on walking until he reached a convenient store nearby their neighborhood. He took a cup

of hot chocolates before made the payment. Just when he thought his night gonna be all gloomy, his eyes captured something

outside the store. His smiles automatically formed when he's looking at it.

 

“ So Baby Ducati are here .. it means the owner might be here too. “

 

He searched for that person and shockingly he spotted her inside the convenient store, while eating a ramen nearby the glass

window but she's not alone, her friend which is his' too were there next to her.

“ I'm sleepy .. so please make it fast. “

“ This ramen is so hot and you're expecting me to finish it fast ? “

“ Fine. Just wake me up when you're done. “

“ Hey ! Don't sleep yet. Talk to me. I'm so bored right now. “

“ Amber, I've already used up my energy with the punishment that coach Yun gave me at the school and I don't have anything

left for you. “

“ But you still have the energy to come here. “

“ I was here only for a bottle of milk but you're the one who dragged me to be with you. “

He was glaring at Amber who's still enjoying her Ramen.

“ Say .. aaah ! “

Amber tried to persuade him by offering the ramen to him.

“ I'm not in the mood. “

“ Really? It's really .. really .. delicious .. yummy .. and smells good too. “

He then given in and just open wide his mouth for her to feed him.

“ Nice right ? “

“ The best meal to have in a cold night. “

He shows a thumb up.

 

“ A-yo, Zico ! “

Both of them were startled by that voice.

They turned to looked at the person and Amber had this ' What is he doing here ' looks on her face when she saw Key, who was

standing next to her with a smirked.

 

“ Hyung ! Thank God that you're here. Please save me from this kid. “

Zico was pointing at Amber after he rushed towards Key.

“ What did you guys do in here ? A date maybe ? “

Key uttered in chuckled but Amber just ignored him and continue to eat.

“ Since you're here, why don't you just accompany her ? I really need my sleep hyung. “

Zico was pleaded with his puppy eyes until he received a nod from Key which at the same time made Amber to surprised with it.

“ Thank you. Bye Am .. Bye hyung. “

He quickly left both of them which made Amber looked dumbfounded.

 

Key was about to take his seat next to Amber when, “ Uh-Uh !! Don't you ever think about it. “

“ Is this seat has your name on it ? No right ? “

He just sat on that chair with his eyes still fixated on Amber.

“ How cruel of you to forced that kid to be here for you. “

“ I really want to eat this ramen with peace so if you're here to make me annoy or something, just leave. “

“ Jeez .. I'm here for this hot chocolates not you. “

“ Great. Then finish it fast and leave. “

“ I really want to but what will Zico thought of me later on ? I already agreed to him to accompany you here, so I guess I will

just stay here with you. “

“ Tell me that you're sick right now. “

Amber looked at him weirdly.

“ Just eat your food. “

 

 

“ Tell me this is your dinner ? “

“ Supper. Don't you see the time ? “

“ Yeah .. I realized it clearly that it stated 12 midnight. So where were you the whole time ? “

Key quickly sipped his drinks when he realized he had slipped that part out.

 

He's holding back himself the whole time and guess he can't contain it anymore. He was filled with curiosity since the moment

he saw her just now.

 

“ Like I will tell you that. “

 

Amber just rolled her eyes and Key was not even surprised to heard that but what he did after that really made Amber to be in

shocked.

 

“ YAHHHH !! “

 

She was screaming because the pinched on her cheeks that Key gave. She then repay it by smacking his back for many times.

 

“ Ouch !! Yah ! That's hurts ! Stop it !! “

“ Why did you pinched my cheeks ? “

“ Why didn't you answered me properly ? “

 

Both of them keep on glaring at each other with Amber rubbing her already reddened cheeks because of the pinched just now

and Key who is rubbing his back because of the pain.

 

“ I feel like burning inside me when you're here. “

Amber uttered those annoyingly before headed her way towards the ice cream containers at the back.

She take a quick look on it but seems like none of it clicked with her taste on that night.

“ I'll just have something from other place. “

 

Shockingly, when she turned to look at her place, Key was already gone along with her jacket and even her bike's keys.

 

“ HEY !! “

 

She immediately walked out when she noticed Key was already standing next to her bike while showing off the keys on his

hands.

 

“ Looking for this ? “

Key showed the keys once again.

“ Obviously ! “

Key hide the keys behind his back when Amber tried to snatched it from him.

“ Give me those. “

“ You know something ? It was my dream to have a ride with this Ducati of yours. “

“ And your point is ? “

“ I'm thinking of tonight .. maybe ? “

“ Huh ? No. No way. I won't ever let you step your feet on it. “

 

Key just ignored her death glare and hop on the bike which made Amber to become furious. She keep on pulling Key's body to

made him get off from her bike but it was useless since Key was being stubborn himself.

 

“ Get off ! “

“ Hop on ! “

“ What ? “

“ Let's go back together or you'll end up walking back home since I controlled the bike now. “

Key was smiled evilly at her which made Amber even more annoyed.

“ Yah ! That's my baby that you're talking about. “

“ Well, what can I do. I have already dominated your baby. So make your decision fast in 3 seconds. “

“ Come on. “

“ 3 “

“ You can't be serious ? “

“ 2 “

“ Get off now ! “

“ 1 .. Bye tomboy. See you at home. “

He started the engine and made his away which made Amber stunned but luckily she's back to her realization,

“ YAH ! COME BACK ! I'M GOING WITH YOU ! “

That made Key to abruptly stops the bike and turned to looked at Amber who's running after him .

“ I will so gonna kill you when we get back home. “

“ Like I will get scare because of that. Just get on. “

“ But .. I don't want to go back now. I still want my ice cream. “

 

Amber acted a little childishly in front of Key which made Key to looked at her weirdly but deep inside him was having fun

seeing her like that.

Both of them were now sat on the stairs with their eyes enjoying the night view in front of them but Key was yawning for

countless time with Amber at his side enjoying her ice cream.

 

“ I'm sleepy. “ He whined at her.

“ Then go back now. “

“ Alright if that's what you want. “

Key get himself up, “ I hope you can find a cab to go back later on. “

* Why should I get a cab when I had my ... HUH ?! OMO ! *

She quickly pulled him and made him to sat back at his place.

“ Wae ? “ Key asked her in a smirked.

“ Yah ! You got my keys. “

“ So ? “

“ Just wait until I finish then we can go back home together. “

Amber heaved a big sighed after she uttered those.

She still can't believe that she had to went through her night with that annoying person.

“ You're a weirdo. Why would you craving for an ice cream in this cold night ? “

Key was rubbing his hands together tried to warmed himself up.

“ I told you. I was burning when you're here. “

Amber was just making some nonsense reason just to annoyed him.

“ Haha .. so you were like cooling yourself down with ice cream ? “

“ Kinda. “

“ Is it yummy ? “

Key started to feel like want the ice cream when he saw Amber ate it deliciously.

“ Mmmm .. yummy ! “

“ Give me that. “

“ Mwo ? Go get it for yourself. Why do you want mine ? “

“ If you noticed, the ice cream ajusshi had just gone back. “

Amber just ignored him with a wide victory smile plastered on her face.

“ Yah ! You made me craving for that. “

Still, she didn't even care for what he says and just keep on shoving the ice cream into .

“ Aish ! Seriously .. “

Key loss his tempered and just snatched the ice cream cup from her hand.

“ Yah ! What are you doing ? “

Amber was dumbfounded looking at Key but he just gave his famous evil smile at her which really creep her out.

“ Thanks for the ice cream. “

With that Key scooped the ice cream with the spoon and shoved it into his mouth.

“ Yah ! That's mine. You took mine. Give me back. How dare you ate my ice cream ?! “

Key just ignored Amber who's keep on pulling his shirt, smacked his back and even ruined his hair to made him stops.

“ Here you go. “

He handed the cup and quickly made his way towards the bike while his hands still working on fixing his already messed hair. 

 

He was about 3 steps away when, “ KIM KIBUM ! YOU'RE DEAD !! “

 

Key immediately speed up and ran towards the bike while laughing at Amber who was shouting the whole time with

“ STOP THERE YOU IDIOT “

“ I'M GONNA BREAK YOUR BONE “

“ WHY DID YOU ATE ALL OF IT ? “

” KIM KIBUM YOU'RE AN EVIL DIVA !! “ repeatedly.

 

He then quickly hop on the bike and start the engine, he knows Amber won't ever dare to touch him if he got her Baby Ducati.

Amber was about to give a smack on him but then Key made her stops with,

“ Try to beat me if you dare. “

“ That's not fair. You cannot threaten me with my Baby. “

“ Owh .. I just did. “

 

Amber felt like her body temperature risen once she saw Key's victory smile. She happen to saw an empty can drink nearby her

and said, “ This is Key !! “ and kicked it really hard until it flown away to the road.

 

She felt the satisfaction, it feel like she really did kicked Key with that. Since she cannot kick him for real, she just had no choice

but to just released her anger at that innocent can.

 

Key who was the whole time watching her, feels the goosebumps all over his body since he's kinda feel scared with it, well he

was imagining that the can is the real him so when Amber gave her kicks he felt like he's the one who's getting kicked. He

cleared his throat when Amber glared at him with ' I won't let you go that easily next time.'

 

He was battling with his minds whether to let Amber to have her bike back or not and decided to stick with it since he felt it was

more safer that way.

 

“ S-should we go back then ? “

He was stuttered but tried not to make it obvious for her.

“ Great. I was tired with you around me. “

She was about to get on the bike when suddenly she remembered about something.

“ What are you waiting for ? Get on ! “

“ Wait for while. “

 

Key was looking at her with confusion when he saw Amber headed her way towards the road. Then he saw Amber picked up

the can that being kicked by her just now and walked back towards Key but then she stops her feet in front of the rubbish bin,

 

“ Can-shi, I'm sorry for just now. I'm just pissed with that Diva. Ok .. rest in peace in there. Bye .. bye. “

She throw the can into the rubbish bin after bid a goodbye to it and headed her way to Key who was giggling at her.

“ What ? “

“ Just get on now. I don't wanna see anymore of your crazy sides. “

Amber just rolled her eyes.

They reached to their house safely although along the way Key was suffered because of Amber's nags at how slow he was

rode the bike.

 

“ Seriously I feel like gonna end up sleeping just now. “

She said as she get off her bike.

“ Yah .. yah ! Stop nagging .. we're safely arrived because of me. “

“ You do realized that is a super bike right not a scooter. “

“ Aish .. I had get enough with you. I'm off to my house now. “

“ Haha .. now you know how people get annoyed easily with your nags. “

Key just rolled his eyes and about to made his way when Amber stops him.

“ Hey. I want my keys back. “

“ Why do you want me ? “

“ Babo. Not you .. my bike's keys. “

Key just realized that he was holding on it.

“ Here. “

 

He put the keys on his palm to let Amber take it by herself but when she was about to take it, Key quickly throw the keys to her

back and it hit directly the vase nearby them.

 

“ YAH ! WHAT WAS THAT ?! “

Key already ran towards his house when Amber busy yelled at him.

“ HAHA .. GOODNIGHT TOMBOY ! “

“ The victory is mine once again !! Hehe “

He made his victory pose when he reached the house to let Amber see it just to make her even annoyed.

It was a year after Amber and Key met.

And still, things didn't turned out better for both of them.

Though there're frienemies, it doesn't stop Key to care for his own frienemy.

Key is so kind right ? Hehe
