Before Jonghyun could even finish his words, the maknae gave a tap on his shoulder.

He turned to looked at him where he then pointed at a direction.

“ She's over there. “

 

 

Jonghyun's body felt weaken with the sight that welcomed his eyes. One by one of the gang started to made their way towards

Amber leaving Jonghyun still in frail looking at Amber from a far. Amber's cloth were covered with blood and she looks so awful

on that moment. His eyes still fixated on Amber who's in Victoria's embraced.

 

“ O-oppa .. “

 

With that she quickly ran towards Jonghyun. He pulled her into a warm embrace just hoping it will calm the younger one.

 

“ I .. I could have save him .. “

“ Shhh .. “

“ If I was fast enough .. he won't be here by right .. “

She was non-stop crying on his shoulder.

“ Everything is gonna be alright. “

 

He assured her although he, himself don't know whether he should believe to what he said or not. He noticed the girls were

swarming at a corner which makes him realized that Yoona were also there, looking no better from Amber.

All of them can heaved a relief after about 4 hours when the doctor finally announced that Key was in a stable state.

 

“ Amber, you should go back first. You too, Yoona. “

“ Huh ? No .. I want to stay. “

She protested to Minho's idea.

“ It's not like I forbid you to be here. I just want you to freshen up yourself. You've been through a lot today. “

Amber run her eyes along her body where she can see all the blood stained on her shirt.

“ Arasso. “

“ Let's go. I'll send you back noona. “

Taemin offered while Sulli decided to tag along with him.

“ I'll accompany you Yoona. “

Victoria offered Yoona a ride home.

Amber just sat on the floor once she get into her room instead of heading her way to the bathroom. She made herself laid on the

floor, crouching like a kid while closing her eyes tightly.

 

* I wish this was just a dream. *

 

But her eyes get teary once she open up her eyes where she still can see the stained on her shirt through the mirror not far from

her. She cupped and cry as much as she want after that.

All of them just watched the nurses to monitor Key's condition until they're done with it.

 

“ I'm sorry but I think it's better for only one or two person to stay in this room. “

She said to Jonghyun and he just nodded.

“ We'll be out in a moment. “

Minho assured the nurse before she went out of the room.

“ Eomeonim, Abeoji .. we'll be waiting outside. Just call us if you need anything. “

Jonghyun said to both of Key's parents who's seating at either side of Key's bed.

 

 

 

“ Owh .. you guys are here .. “

Minho spotted the three of them already waiting outside the room.

“ So, how was Key hyung ? “

“ He still hadn't awake but he's stable. Owh .. his parents are here already. “

“ C-can I .. “

Amber pointed at his room while Luna just nodded to her.

But before she can manage to make a step towards the door,

“ Minho-ah, how's Key ? “

She turned to looked at Yoona who already making her way towards them.

“ Is he alright ? Nothing bad happen to him right ? “

“ Yeah .. don't worry. He's fine .. I guess .. “ Minho answered her.

“ I'm going to check him out. “

With that Yoona just dashed towards the room leaving Amber in stunned.

 

* What am I kidding. She is his girlfriend. *

 

“ Amber .. aren't you said .. “

“ Huh ? That's ok. I'll do it later. “

Jonghyun asked the girls to go back home first since it's pretty late already and Taemin decided to tag along since he also got

school to attend tomorrow leaving Minho, Yoona, Key's parents and Jonghyun himself at the hospital. But after sometimes, both

of Key parents also decides to go back and comeback visiting their son tomorrow morning which then followed by Yoona,

well she actually insisted on staying with Key but both Minho and Jonghyun thought that she have been through a lot for today

and persuade her to take her rest for a night.

 

 

 

Amber's POV

 

“ Urgh ! This is so frustrating ! “

 

I felt frustrated since I get home with the fact that I didn't able to see Key in his room. First, it's because of Yoona unnie,

well I can't blame her for this. I'm the one who felt awkward when she's around so I decided to just walk into the room after

she's done with visiting him but I didn't expect that she will be in that room for that long.

Second, is just when I thought I had a chance on visiting him, the nurse suddenly ordered us to let him to rest and just allowed 

two person to be in that room, which obviously meant for both Mr and Mrs Kim. And the third one is when I really thought the

luck were on my sides when I spotted both of his parents walked out of the room for awhile, so as been planned,

I'm making my steps towards his room but unfortunately being stops by Jonghyun oppa. Why ?

Because he insists us to go back early since we had a class tomorrow. 

 

 

Aish ! That Dino Jjong. He ruined everything. If I know all of this will happen to me, I will just do what Luna says and dashed

into his room even if Yoona unnie were still inside. I know that I can always visit him tomorrow but my heart won't be at peace

if I didn't look at his condition with my own eyes.

 

 

“ Owh ! I wish he was fine. “

 

I walked back and forth with my eyes still fixated on the clock which shown almost 11 pm.

“ Aaa .. I just hope oppa won't see me. It's would be great if he's asleep. “

I mumbled nervously while waiting for the lift to reach to the ninth floor.

I took a peek when I reached at the floor, “ Clear ! “

 

 

Quietly I walked along the hallway until I found his room. Slowly I turned the door knob and took a peek inside the room

where I saw nobody else besides Key who's still on his bed, lying peacefully there.

 

* Thank God oppa is not here. *

 

With that I quickly went inside and close the door behind me.

 

* I wonder where the heck is he right now ? *

 

I can feel the chills on my spine while approaching him.

 

“ H-Hi .. Key .. “

I said to him although he's not in the condition to greet me back.

My eyes run along the bandages on his hands and his head.

“ Is it hurt ? “

 

“ Key .. you can hear me right ? No ? Doesn't matter .. I'll just accompany you for tonight ok ? Since those two friends of yours

are nowhere to be found. “

 

I run my fingers gently on his forehead, touching the bandages with my trembled fingers.

 

“ Do you wanna know something Key ? “

I asked with my fingers his hairs.

“ You really made me scared today. “

 

“ I'm scared Key .. I really am .. I really afraid of losing you. “

 

“ I lost you to Yoona unnie but I don't want to lose you from my life forever .. “

I could feel the tears started to pooling in my eyes but I tried holding it back.

 

“ Why didn't you stop when I called your name ? If not .. “

 

“ I'm sure you won't be here right now if you listen to me .. “

“ It was my fault too .. If I was quick enough .. I'm sure I will be able to save you .. “

 

“ Key .. the doctor says that you won't awake in this short time .. “

“ But I know you're stronger than what they thought right ? You're the Almighty Key .. you're capable of anything .. I want you

to fight with it .. and wake up as soon as you can .. “

“ I already missed your nag in just a day .. so please listen to me and wake up fast. “

Jonghyun heaved a big sighed when he noticed Amber were asleep next to Key.

Minho were surprised looking at Amber.

“ Shhh .. she'll awake with your voice. “

Jonghyun give a glare to Minho. Jonghyun signed Minho to follow him out of the room and he does.

 

“ Why is she's here ? “

He asked as soon as they stepped out of the room.

“ She just worried for him .. I guess .. “

“ We are talking about Amber and Key here .. “

“ Hey, they still got their humanity within them .. doesn't mean if they're not in a good terms they will just abandoned each

other .. I'm sure she does care about Key deep inside her and it obviously shown .. “

“ Yeah .. you're absolutely right about that. “

Jonghyun then noticed that Minho keep on smiling after that.

“ What's with that smile ? “

“ Wanna know something funny ? “

Jonghyun raised his eyebrows looking at Minho.

“ I had this silly thought that Amber were in love with Key .. hehe “

That caught Jonghyun's attention, fully.

“ Haha .. nothing .. it's just I noticed that her hand were interlocked with Key just now .. so that's why .. “

He smiled dorkily at his hyung while Jonghyun just smiled along with him.

 

* I wonder how will you react to the truth ? *

Although Jonghyun's question sounds weird in Minho's ears but that doesn't stop him from give his thought.

“ I'm sure they will if .. “

He leaved his words hang in the midway.

“ So it means .. they will be 0% of chances between them now ? “

“ Maybe .. yeah .. since I know Key too well .. and he is someone who will devote his heart for the person that he love .. and that

person is obviously Yoona .. He won't see anyone else besides the girl that he love. “

“ Why did you asked anyway ? Are you some kind of KeyBer's shipper ? “

Minho asked while laughing at him.

“ Well, you can say it that way but I'm not YoonKey's anti's anyway .. I shipped both of them, well with a little bit love for one

of them actually. “

Amber was awake with the sudden vibration coming from her pocket which is was her phone.

She sat straight on the chair when she heard Victoria's voice on the other line.

She took a peek on her watched and her eyes widened when, “ 6.40 ? “

“ Yes ! Now tell me .. where are you right now ? “

“ What ? What are you doing there ? “

“ Whatever ! Just go back home fast and get ready to school. “

She quickly get up from the seat to walked away but startled when she felt her hand were attached to something and it was

She chuckled before make her hand free from him.

Amber was surprised to see Jonghyun already waiting for her at the door way with Minho at his side, still in his dreamland.

He looked at her seriously.

“ Huh ? Like right now ? I mean .. I got a school .. “

She walked away from him after that.

She was startled by that.

She just shrugged it off before quickly ran towards the elevator since she was sure enough that Jonghyun still keeping his eyes

“ Hey .. I heard from Taemin .. Is he alright ? “

Zico asked as soon as Amber stepped into the class.

He just nodded to her, still waiting for her answer.

“ Well, he's stable .. but he's in .. “

It just really hard for Amber to utter the last word since she thought it was a pretty strong word.

“ What is it ? “

“ Coma .. he's in coma. “

She said it which made Zico and also Myungsoo who happen to hear to their conversation to be in shocked.

“ For real ? Gosh ! “

“ Hey, Zico .. let's pay him a visit today. “

Myungsoo suggested which then he received a light nod from Zico.

 

 

Amber's minds was obviously at somewhere else and Myungsoo easily realized that so he will always give a nudge when the

teacher happen to look at Amber just so that she won't get into trouble. When recess come, Amber didn't feel like having her

lunch and just decided to stay in the class with Myungsoo, Dongjun, Zico and Sohee since they were really curious about Key.

So, Amber had no choice but to spends her recess time with her explanation about Key although deep inside her she was really

uncomfortable talking about it since it will remind her back about the incidence that happen right in front of her eyes.

 

 

“ Aren't you traumatize by that ? “

Sohee asked in concern.

She retorts smilingly to assure that she was alright.

Yeah right, that's explained for the tears that she had wasted for him for about almost 3 hours in her room yesterday.

She was surprised to see Victoria waiting at her car nearby the school gate and worse, she was with,

She do as been told and get into the car but once again she was surprised too see Luna already at the backseat.

“ Are you giving us a ride home ? But there's no room for Krys, Sulli and Taem. “

She asked clueless looking at Victoria.

Victoria already inform the rest to have their dinner without her, Amber and Luna and even asked them to go to the hospital

first.

“ Didn't I tell you this morning ? We need to talk. “

“ Yeah .. I remembered that clearly that ' WE ' need to talk but I didn't expect that ' WE ' also were involved Luna and

Vic unnie. “

 

Amber stressed out the word ' We ' to Jonghyun with a glare since she was sure enough that Jonghyun already told them about

she's visiting Key at that late night.

He simply retorts which made Amber to annoyed while Luna just stay silent at her side, enjoying the view outside the car.

She took a bite of her food and glances at each of her friends who's been staring at her.

 

“ Come on, I'm trying to eat here. “

“ Ok .. I'm sure you will be mad if I told you I'm in the hospital last night. “

Jonghyun smirked at her who's already stunned looking at her friends.

Victoria cut her before she even manage to finish her words.

“ That's enough Amber .. you've been keeping this all by yourself and it's the time for you to let it out. That way, you won't be

hurt, at least .. not as much as what you endure all these years. “

Amber just frozen there trying to keeping her gaze away from her friends.

“ Guess what unnie .. I'm hurt once again .. “

She's trying her best to holding back her tears.

“ It's really hurt looking at him like that .. It's better to feel hurt looking at him and Yoona unnie together rather than facing his

lifeless body every single day .. “

The girls quickly went towards Amber to comfort her while Jonghyun just heaved a big sighed looking at Amber.

Jonghyun popped out from Amber's back with two ice cream on his hands.

“ ICE CREAM !! YAY ! “

As been expected that would easily cheer her up.

“ Only two ? Where's ours ? “

Victoria asked slightly pouted at him.

“ This one is specially for my honey .. “

Jonghyun handed to ice cream to Luna which made Victoria to drooling looking at it.

“ Yah ! Kim Jonghyun ! How could you left me out .. “

She's pouted even more.

“ Sorry noona but I only have two hands to hold onto it .. so I decided to bought it for Amber since she need it the most and

another one of course for my beautiful girl over here .. I even sacrificed mine for them you know that ? “

“ Aww ! Oppa is so sweet ! “

Both Amber and Luna said in unison.

“ It would be great if Onew is here .. I'm sure he will teach you some lesson for abandoned your noona .. “

She said while clenching her fist.

Jonghyun mocked her which made Victoria to boiled up.

Amber offered her ice cream to Victoria which she gladly took.

Jonghyun asked with his already open mouth, waiting for Luna to shoved the ice cream into it.

Amber just smiled looking at Jongna who's being so sweet to each other.
