Some of the students were right now making themselves busy inside the auditorium by preparing the stage along with the hall itself for the upcoming event which is going to be held in just a week more. At one corner can be seen that Amber was so busy helping Zico hanging up the banner to the wall, while next to them was Taemin with Sehun and Myungsoo, checking up the sound systems and Sulli and Luna was seen right opposite to where the three of them had stood, where both of them were the one who is in-charge in the fine decorations like the flowers, balloons and other similar to it but of course they won't do it all by themselves. Suzy, Krystal, Jiyoung, Hyuna, Sohee and Minzy was also there to give their help.

 

Sulli felt a nudge by her arm that eventually made her to turned to her left where Luna already smiling like a dork at her. “ Hmm ? “

“ Look at your front. “

She did as been told and only shifted her eyes back to her works.

“ That's it ? No reaction ? “

“ What ? It just Taemin .. “

“ I know it's Taemin but can't you see ? “

“ What ? “

“ He's been doing this for awhile you know .. “

“ Doing what unnie ? “

“ Stealing glances .. at .. you .. “

She emphasizes the word ' You ' to her which only Sulli replied with a ' So ? ' kind of stares.

“ Don't you think it's weird ? “

“ Nope. “

“ Am I the only one who's sensitive about this ? “

Luna heaved a sigh of frustration looking at Sulli who's acted nonchalantly towards this issue.

“ You were influenced by your love novels unnie .. you're making weird thoughts because of it .. “

“ I am not .. I'm sure .. “

Her words was cut in the middle when she hears her named being called by Amber, who's been waving her hands to get her attention.

“ Luna .. a little help over here .. “

“ Be right back. “

Sulli just nodded before continue giving her attention towards the works but it was only lasts  for a few seconds when she, herself felt distracted with the stares that she felt was meant for her on that moment. She tilted her head up, “ Yah ! Do your work ! “

He was startled and immediately ran his gazed away and back to his work.

 

Luna was wrong. She wasn't the only one who's sensitive about this but Sulli too. In fact, she definitely the one who felt it the most in this issue. For the past few days, no, couple of weeks ago, Taemin had persistently did the same things to her. Taking or as been said by Luna, ' Stealing ' glances at her.

 

At first, she just ignored him but later to found out that it was kind of annoying for her when the boy keep doing the same and more frequently and sometimes, it felt like he will glancing at her one minute after another. She had caught him off guard for the countless times but that doesn't made the boy to stop this habit of his. She even asked him about this and all that he says was  “ I'm bored .. don't mind me. “ And believe it or not, she had explained on how irritated she felt whenever he did that but it seems like her words had never stays in his head.

 

“ Is there something wrong with my face that he keep on looking at it ? “ She wonder about this like everyday.

 

“ And you're turning out more like Taemin right now .. “

She was jolted by the voice.

“ Thanks for startled me like that. “ Said Sulli sarcastically to Luna who just let out a small chuckle by her sides.

“ As I'm saying .. your focus was no more to your work Giant Baby. “

“ I was bored .. don't mind me. “

* She was right, I'm turning more like him .. *

“ So, killing your boredom by staring at Taemin ? An interesting way if you're asking me ... “

“ Fine. I'm spacing out just now not that I'm staring at him. “

“ Thinking of what ? Or who maybe ? “

“ Both. His weird habit and himself. “

Sulli started to feel uneasy and immediately checking on herself.

She nodded excitedly looking at Luna who's been holding back her laughter.

Sulli heaved a sighed of frustration hearing to Luna's thought.

“ Obviously .. everyone's aware of that. “

“ No Ssul .. not that. I'm talking about a like-love kind of feelings towards a girl .. “

Her eyes blinked repeatedly in confusion, while her brain were working out trying to catch every words that been uttered by Luna and when it's done, it ended up with her jaw dropped opened.

“ UNNIE !!! “

Her shrieked was heard in the whole auditorium, too annoyed with the older one to even care that everybody were staring at her.

“ Guess ... Not ? “ Luna stuck her tongue out cutely.

“ Aish ! I can't believe you ... “

“ Choi Jinri ! Park Sunyoung ! Don't make me put both of you in the detention for causing chaos in here. “

Mrs Jo said, looking at the both of them with her infamous glares.

“ Sorry .. “ The both of them apologized in unison.

 

 

“ That was so out of blue ! How can she even think of that ?! “ She mumbled all by herself while walking down the hallway.

“ There is no way that Lee Taemin might ... “

“ Yes ? “

“ Omo ! “

She turned to her back in surprised when she realized who's the owner of the voice.

“ Yah ! Stop appearing like a ghost ! “

“ Tsk .. you're the one who's spacing out. I've called you for so many times but you are so into your own world to even care that my throat is paining for calling out your name. “

“ What do you want ? “

“ Nothing. I'm just bored and I saw you went out so I decided to follow. “

“ Follow me to here ? “ She pointed at the girl's washroom signage which only made the boy to feels embarrassed.

“  Jeez .. I thought you were heading somewhere else .. “

He pouted, trying to letting her know what's on his minds and Sulli, who had known him for such a long time only let out a chuckle to his words.

“ I'll be back. Just wait here. “

They were right now resting themselves at the school's rooftop, “ I bet Mrs Jo will looking for us by this time. “ She broke the silence.

“ I've got things under control. “

She turned to looked at him with questions shown on her face.

“ Kai and Chunji will take care of that. “

 

She didn't ask further and don't even think to have a care on whatsoever that he had planned. It's not that they always skips the class and for her, once in a while is still acceptable. In fact, it couldn't be consider as skipping the class either because they were not in any lesson, they were just spending their day decorating the auditorium for the upcoming event, that's all. So yeah, the were definitely out of any troubles.

 

“ Hey Taem ... “

“ Hmm ? “

“ Do you like me ? “

“ Yes. “

Her eyes shots open, wide opened while staring at his face who looks so calm looking back at her.

“ Did you hear me properly or not ? Do you like me ? “

“ I heard you and already answered you. What else ? “

She calmed herself down first while trying to put all the nonsense thoughts off her minds.

“ You mean .. as a friend right ? “

He nodded and let out a chuckled seconds after that when he realized what had she meant by the question.

“ Why so sudden ? “

“ Huh ? “

“ The question .. Why ? Do you expect some other answer ? Like .. “

“ No ! It's not that ! I'm so glad to hear that from you. Just a certain person made me came out with this question. “

His brows furrowed with a confusion written all over his face.

“ Just ignore that. “

“ Owh ... Hey, Ssul .. can I ask something ? “

“ Sure. “

“ You know, I've been wondering about this for quite some time ... “

He took a quick glance at her, “ How do we know if we are .. err .. in love ? “

 

 

“ I know I shouldn't ask you this .. aish ! “ He uttered annoyingly to Sulli who's been laughing her heart out since then.

 

Her face was flushed due to the effect from the laughing. She kept on covering so that her laughter will stop but ended up burst out laughing again and again whenever she caught a glimpse of Taemin's annoyed face. The thought of Taemin had thrown a serious question to her only made the situation even worse.

 

“ Come on, it's not funny Sulli. “

“ Owh .. it .. is Taemin .. haha “

“ Fine, I'm done with you. “

Taemin already get on his feet, ready to make his steps away from Sulli when suddenly she grab his hand, “ Are you going to leave me here ? Alone ? “

Instead of answering her, he just stood silent there while looking away from her.

“ Ok. I'm sorry. I shouldn't laugh like that. “

She shook his hand trying to get his attention, “ Taeminnie ... I'm sorry. “

She pleaded with her aegyo that never failed to made him smiled.

“ I see you're smiling there ... “

Taemin knew that he couldn't held it any longer and just turned to looked at her, “ Just be glad that your aegyo hasn't lost it's power yet. “

She pulled him back sit next to her upon hearing him saying those.

“ And it will never be. “

 

“ Why so sudden Taem ? “

“ I'm just curious. “

“ Why are you asking me ? You knew that I never had those experience right ? “

“ I don't know ... I just felt comfortable talking about this with you than others. “

He then turned to looked at her who's smiling at him apologetically as if saying that she couldn't help him in this.

“ Gwaenchana, just ignore that. “

Silence took controlled the atmosphere after that, with both of them staring at sky which was once bright but slowly changes it's color to a shed of mixtures of oranges and red.

“ It's getting dusk .. “ Taemin muttered but none of them move a single muscle.

“ Should we go back now ? “

He asked once again but still no responds from her.

“ Hey, Ssul ? “

“ Taem .. about your question just now .. “

His attention right now were completely on her.

“ By any chance, do you fall for someone ? “

Slowly she turned to looked at him, “ Do you “

Taemin just looked at her with a poker face and answered, “ I'm not. “

“ Who is the girl ? “

“ Nobody Ssul. It was just  a stupid curiosity .. not more than that. “

 

That doesn't sounds convincing in Sulli's ears though Taemin pulled a really great act in front of her, she just knew that something was up with him if he suddenly asked those. He might fooled others but not Sulli, not his own best friend. She can see through him and she was sure of her thought.

 

“ I can't give you much help in this but I can try. “

“ I thought I told you to just ignore it. “

She knew that Taemin was not ready to openly talk about this with her and she don't want to put any pressure on him either, but she thought, maybe she can still give a little help. She don't want her best friend to face this problem by his own.

“ Chill, I just want to help with your curiosity .. that's all. Wanna hear me out ? “

There's a bit of nervousness shown on Taemin's face and that's only made Sulli to become even more sure about her assumptions.

“ S-sure .. whatever. “

“ There's one book that I've read and it talks about love. “

“ Don't tell me .. Luna's right ? “

“ Who else .. anyway, it stated that you won't feel ok when that person is far away, you smile when you hear her voice, when you look at her, you don't see other people around you, you only see her ... “

She took a quick glance at him and smiled when she caught how serious he is listening to her.

“ You'll easily get the feeling of missing her even though you had just met her and most importantly, your heart is beating crazily for that person. “

She can see from the corner of her eyes, that right now, Taemin was in a deep thought, though he was appears looking at her, his minds was off to somewhere else.

She noticed how his hand slowly went up to the left side of his chest, and stop exactly at where the heart was situated.

At that moment, Sulli felt happy with what she saw but at the same time, she also felt quite sad with the fact that her best friend had might be found his soul mate. She felt afraid of the consequences that Taemin might neglected her just like how the gang had done once they found the love. She shook the thought off immediately because she trusted him more than anyone and she knew that he will never left her behind. He will always stays with her no matter what.

 

“ Let's go. “

Her dazed was broken when she felt a hand tapping her shoulder which was  Taemin's of course.

“ Where ? “

“ Home. It's almost 5.30 .. let's go. “

He reached out his hand for her and she gladly  took it.

“ What's with the smiles ? “ She asked while heading downstairs when she caught his smiles.

“ My curiosity had lessen and thanks to you .. “
