“ What took you so long ? “ Sulli asked annoyingly looking at Taemin who just gave her a wide grin.

“ I happened to bumped into Zico hyung outside the cafe just now. “

“ Speaking of Zico oppa .. he's here. “

 

Taemin turned to his back to looked at where did Sulli pointed at and as she mentioned, it was Zico who's headed towards a table not far from them. He gave both of them a light hand wave before proceeded to take his seat.

 

“ Who is that girl ? “ Sulli asked when she realized Zico was not alone.

“ Jiyul noona. “

“ You know her ? “

“ Nope but I met her already. Zico hyung introduced her to me just now. “

“ They seems close to each other. “

“ Of course they are. They are a lover anyway. “

“ Mwo ? “

“ Zico hyung introduced her as his girlfriend. “

“ Woah .. He has one ? I thought he loves to hang out with L and Dongjun oppa only. “

“ Yeah. I was surprised too. Anyway, he is a great guy and that girl seems happy to be with him, looking at the way she smiled whenever she looked at him. I mean, I've known hyung for quite awhile and I know he is serious whenever it comes to a relationship. I would gave my approval if you and him were a couple. You know how I care towards you right ? And you also know I won't randomly approve just any guy for you right ? That's how good my impression towards him. Too bad he already with someone else. “

 

Without him realizing it, his words already touched the heart of the girl in front of him. She knew that her best friend was always care about her but his words just now only made she to adored him more than ever. She was so happy that she even think to give him a bear hug but she holding it back since there's a lot of people around them, so, she only sticked with the wide grin on her face for him to know that he has lighten up her mood by saying those.

 

“ What's with the smiles ? “ He asked with a chuckled, slightly creep out with the way she looked at him.

“ I'm just happy to know that my best friend always cares about me. “

“ Well, you acts the same to me. “ He shyly replied her.

“ Why don't you just choose a boyfriend for me ? I won't reject him for sure .. hehe. “

 

Sulli was obviously joking with her words but it didn't sounds like a joke in Taemin's ears, instead, it sounds more like an idea for his brain.

 

“ What do you mean ? “

“ What I meant is, I won't reject the guy that you choose since I know you will only choose the best for me.. hehe “

Sulli was still in her joking mood while Taemin at the other side were trying to process his minds to look for anything that related to her words.

“ Of course I can choose the best guy for you. I've known you for a long time and I know what kind of guy that you like. “

Sulli already stop giggling and looked at Taemin oddly.

“ And you also knew what kind of girl that I like, that suits with me the most. “

“ Taemin ... “ She tried to get his attention but Taemin was so into talking to himself that slightly made Sulli to get worried.

“ That's it ! “

“ Owh ! You startled me Minnie !! What's wrong with you ? “

She asked in panting, due to the shocked that she received from Taemin's shrieked just now.

“ I have an idea ! “

“ What ? I was joking about that Taemin. “

“ I know but I'm not. “

“ Seriously ? Choose a boyfriend and girlfriend for each other ? Are you nuts ? “

“ For the up tenth time .. I'm not. I'm serious. This is a great solution Ssul. “

“ Ok, fine. Let's say we did dated the person that we choose for each other but do you think we can fall in love with that person ? It's impossible. “

“ It's easy. We've known each other for a long time. We knew each other's secrets, likes and dislikes. We clearly knew what kind of person that we adored. That's explained the part that we will like our date that we choose for each other later on because we only gonna give each other the best date ever, the date that we knew suits with each other's taste. “

“ It didn't makes sense Taem. I mean .. though we knew each other's taste, it won't guarantee that we will choose the right person. “

“ Fine. I admit that this idea was crazy but there's no harm for trying it right ? At least, it can solve our problem. And who know, we might end up with a lover. “

 

Obviously, Sulli wasn't like his idea and it shown on her face but then she just choose to give a consideration when she realized how serious he is towards his idea.

Cafeteria

“ These two persons are crazy. “

“ And you just know ? “

Krystal and Luna just shook their head when they saw how determine both Sulli and Taemin in their mission. A mission to find each other a partner.

“ Unnie, over here. “ Krystal waved her hand trying to get Amber's attention from a far.

“ Hey, sorry I'm late. I'm kinda stuck with Seunghyun. “

“ I've bought your lunch already. “

“ Thanks Luna. “

Amber is still oblivious with what's happening around her until Luna pointed it out.

“ Unnie, look at those two. “

She turned to looked at it and was surprised to see Taemin and Sulli were seating at the next table and not with them.

“ What's wrong with them ? Why are they sitting far away from us ? “

“ They said something about the mission thing. “

“ What mission ? “

“ Huh ? You don't know ? “

Amber shook her head as a no.

“ They promised to find each other a boyfriend and girlfriend. “

“ Mwo ? You mean by Sulli choose one for Taemin and he did the same to Sulli ? “

“ It's crazy right ? “

“ Yeah, how can it possibly works ? Can they like the person that being chosen ? I mean, it took me about a couple of months to really likes Minho oppa. “

“ Krys, I guess they were just gonna try it out. You know, go for a date and things like that. “

“ Well, for me it's better for them to just date each other than wasting their time by finding the one. “

Both Luna and Krystal laughed at what had Amber says.

 

 

At Taelli's table, “ Here's the list. “

They exchanged the paper which contain the names of the person that they personally thought would suits the best with each other.

“ Only three ? “ Sulli raised an eyebrow looking at Taemin who smiling like an idiot while his eyes browsing the list.

It shown that he's satisfied with her list. “ And I've got 10 ? Wow ! “

“ Yah ! Why there are only three persons for me ? “

“ That's the best out of the best. “

“ You're too strict about this. We promised to loosen up a bit right ? “

“ I am. That's why you got three than nothing. “

Sulli mouthed an ' unbelievable ' to him while he just replied with a merong.

“ Sehun, Kai and Myungsoo ? L oppa ? Scratch that out Taemin because he still not over with Amber unnie. “

 

Taemin took the paper from her hand and did as been told. He took a pen and scratch that name on the list which only made Sulli's eyes to get widened in surprised.

 

“ Yah .. I was just saying. “

“ I just did what you want me to ... “

“ I know, but .. Aish ! L oppa is back on the list. Who knows if I've got a luck with him. How about you ? Do you like the girls ? “

“ Well, I'm choosing only 5 of them. There's too many anyway. “

He gave back the paper to Sulli for her to choose the 5 person.

She took about few minutes to make it done and handed it back to Taemin.

“ Eh ? I told you 5. Why did you cut 7 of them ? “

“ It's fair for us. You've got 3 and so do I. “

 

Taemin can't help but to chuckled at her childishness but at the same time he's kinda glad that list has shorten since it's gonna gave him a headache if he have to date all 10 of them.

 

“ Suzy, Min ah and Jiyoung. “

“ Let's hope this will work out. “

Classroom

After a really serious discussion with each other, both Sulli and Taemin had came into a decision to choose only one out of the three names on the list and that lucky persons would be,

 

“ Are you crazy ? “

Both of them shrieked in unison at Taemin and Sulli's crazy idea while Taelli just nodded their head in excitement.

“ We thought that both of you were the finest candidates to be our date. “

Sulli uttered happily while Taemin just nodded to whatsoever that she says.

“ Ssul, I know I told you to find yourself a boyfriend and Taemin a girlfriend but I never thought that you will paired us up ? I mean .. Taem, we are friends and it's weird. “

“ You gave them this idea ? “

“ No, I just told them to find themselves a partner not pairing us up with them. “

“ Yah ! What's got into you Taem ? Sulli and I ? Together ? I mean, no offense Ssul. “

“ Did you just said that you don't like Sulli ? You don't find Sulli attractive ? “

Taemin asked slightly lost his tempered when he heard that coming out from him.

“ Woah ! Chill Taem. I didn't mean it that way. Sulli is fine .. really fine. It's just like she said, we are chingus and it's gonna be so awkward together. “

“ And you, what's wrong with Taeminnie ? “

“ Well, your Taeminnie is good in any way. It's just I don't see him as a guy Ssul. We've been friends for almost 5 years and in just a blink of eyes you wanna change that part ? It's not easy Ssul. “

“ Alright, we got what you mean but can at least we try it out. I mean, all of us were single and it's no harm right. We can have fun at the same time. Who knows if we might end up together. “

“ Seriously, I'm asking you Ssul, do you actually have a feeling towards me ? “

Sulli's eyes widened when that question being throw to her.

“ Yah ! No ! Never ! It's all his idea. “ She nudge Taemin who's chuckling at her sides.

“ See, you also felt the same. That's how I felt for your crazy idea. “

“ Should I throw the same question to you Taem ? “

The girl shot a glare which only cause Taemin to stop laughing.

“ Fine. Who cares if we don't have feelings for each other. Let's just work this date out. Like I said earlier, who knows if we really might end up together. “

“ Owh, please .. please .. go out with Minnie. “

“ Yeah, you'll have fun with Sulli. I guarantee. “

 

 

After School

“ See you on Saturday. “

“ Remember, 11 am. We'll be waiting for you guys. “

The two persons just shook their head watching Sulli and Taemin walked away from them.

“ I can't believe we agreed to their crazy minds. “

“ I can't believe we are going to have a date with them. “

“ Have it ever crossed in your mind to have Sulli as your date ? “

“ Nope. What about you ? How about Taemin ? “

“ No. Never. Then, why did you said yes just now ? You're the one who agreed on it first. “

“ Seriously, don't you noticed how Taemin looked at me. As if he's going to eat me alive if I give one more reason to not to date his best friend. Sulli is attractive, but I don't see her as a girl. “

“ Yup, same with me. I'm sure Sulli is going to throw a tantrum if I said no to Taemin. “

“ Why don't they just date each other ? I mean, no one understand them better than their own best friend. “

“ I guess, it's harder that way since they were bounded to the vows of best friend. “

“ I guess, I'll be seeing you on Saturday along with them. “

“ Yeah, but remember what they said, we have to take this date seriously. “

“ Oh well, like Taemin said, who knows I might end up with Sulli. “

“ And who knows I might end up with Taemin. “

Both of them happened to made an eye contact with each other.

“ NOT ! Haha ! “ And laughed themselves out loud with their words since they find it silly.

“ It's quite hard since we always hang out with them. “

“ We just have to set our mind differently. “

“ Ok. So, what are you going to wear on that day ? “

“ What do you mean ? Just a simple tee, what else. “

“ No. You have to look nice Minnie. Don't you see how Key oppa dressed himself on his first date ? Or Minho oppa ? “

“ Key hyung always dressed up whenever he's out. “

“ I know, but he look totally different on his first date. “

“ Say, why don't you come over to my house and help me with it. “

6.30 pm

Taemin's jaw dropped once Sulli came out from the bathroom with her cute flowery mini dress on, she looks stunning and cute in his eyes but that doesn't mean he likes what she's wearing. Well, he have to admit that he did like it but if it meant for others especially guys out there to see, he will straightly gave a big ' X ' to her.

 

“ Why ? “

“ Aren't that dress was too short ? “

It's not that short. He just exaggerating things a bit.

“ That's why it's called a mini dress Taemin. “

“ Change. It's a no-no from me. “

“ But, you're the one who pick this one earlier. “

“ I didn't thought it will be so short. “

Taemin was never too protective over Sulli but when he does, she knew that it was for her own good.

“ Fine. I'll change to the other one. “

 

He kept his gazed at her until she's disappeared from his sight. It was a really beautiful sight for him to see her in that cute mini dress but the thought of gaining the interest of the erts eyes out there making him automatically become furious. He wasn't gonna act so protective over her if it was not because of the incidence that happens few years ago.

 

It happened once before where Sulli was being disturbed by some erted gangsters due to her short outfit but gladly he was there at the right time to helped her out though those guys almost kick him alive, but both of them was also safe with the help of the patrol. That's the reason of why he become quite protective over her. It reminded him about the tears and how frightened she is on that moment and from that on, he promised to always keep her safe. But sometimes he can't help but to let her wore things like that since she was stubborn but he finds other way to keep her safe which is by making sure that she's not alone when she in those seductive outfit.

 

* Seductive ? No ! It just short not seductive. *

 

“ Please say that this is the one. “

 

Her voice happened to broke his dazed and only to made his eyes to shifted towards her. His eyes runs along her body and by the way he's smiling, Sulli knew that she doesn't have to try more outfit after this.

 

“ This looks nice. “ He said as his eyes settled back at her face.

“ Thank God ! “

 

She heaved a big sighed before dashed back into the bathroom to change back to her tee, leaving Taemin all alone out there, smiling by himself as he recalled back how lovely she looks on that outfit.

It was a black mini dress, well, not that mini since the skirt almost reached her knee, and it have a polka dots prints at the top part which blends really well with Sulli's milky skin and her messy bun.

 

 

 

Taemin's Room

“ Don't you ever think to wear that. Every girl's fantasy is to see her date looking stunning on their first meeting. You know, like Hyun Bin, in the Secret Garden. “

“ We're not in a drama Ssul. Don't get so into that. I'm not gonna appears like Hyun Bin no matter how hard I tried. “

“ Who says ? You're handsome and cute and you're gonna look so much awesome than Hyun Bin, well, of course with a little bit of my help as your wardrobe consultant. “

Her words made his stomach to feels tickles and end up let out a chuckle.

“ Whatever. Just choose it fast. I'm hungry. I can smells Vic noona's food from here. “

 

She runs her fingers along his clothes that was nicely hanged inside the closet, and her hand automatically stop right at one particular outfit. She took out the gray long sleeve with a V neck cut along with a pair of black jeans.

 

“ Try this on. “

“ I wonder where did the Hyun Bin part go ? “

He asked when he noticed the outfit wasn't resembles any form of Hyun Bin's style in the ' Secret Garden '.

“ Just, go. “ She pushed him towards the bathroom and eagerly waiting for him to come out with those cloth on.

“ I'm done ! “

Upon hearing his voice, she immediately walked up towards the bathroom's door while waiting for it to be open.

“ What do you ... “

“ Perfect ! “

“ Ok. That was easy. “

“ Wait, come here. “

 

She pulled him closer to her body and starting to fixing his messy hairs. While she was busy with his hairs, he who was in front of her was busy staring at every features of her face. It was rare for him to see her this up close and he felt satisfied when he able to witness it by himself of how beautiful his best friend is.

 

“ What are you smiling at ? “ She happened to caught a glimpse of him smiling.

“ You know what ? “

“ What ? “ She asked with her eyes still fixated at his hairs.

“ We looked like a newlywed couple. “ He uttered which causing Sulli to shot a weird glare at him.

“ You know, you, fixing my hair while I just stood here looking at your face. “

“ And who says that I was so into drama ? You did too. “

“ Haha .. whatever. Are you done yet ? “

“ Yes. Now, take a look of yourself. You look so cool now. “

He turned to the mirror and just flashed a smile at Sulli who he saw from the reflection of the mirror.

“ You did a great job. Thanks. “

“ Just be glad that I didn't eat your food Taemin. “

Jonghyun said while munching his meat as he spotted Taemin coming down from the stairs with Sulli at his sides.

“ Sorry we didn't wait for you Taem, Ssul. This Dino kept whining about his stomach. “

Victoria uttered after both Taemin and Sulli settled on their seat.

“ Nah, it's ok unnie. The food looks delicious .. as always. “

They started to dig on their rice after that.

“ So, I heard that you're going out for a date Taem. “ Minho asked with a smirked on his face.

“ And I wonder where did you heard this from ? “

Taemin took a meaningful glance at Krystal who just stuck out her tongue cutely at him before he continue to answer the question.

“ I'm not going alone. Sulli is in it too. “

“ Mwo ? Like .. going out together ? Like a date ? Both of you together ? “

Key asked in disbelieve while Sulli and Taemin just laughed it off.

“ No. Us together ? Seriously, oppa ... Of course we have our own date. “

“ But, why so sudden ? “

“ We just felt like it. It is wrong ? “

 

Taemin tried his hardest not to blow their true reason of their sudden decision for going out on a date as that is what they had agreed on. They just want to keep it by themselves.

 

“ No. “

Key replied shortly though he want to say more but he just shrugged it off once he caught the glance that Amber gave him, as if she's signed him to just keep his mouth shut.

“ So, who are those lucky persons anyway ? “

Victoria asked with the curiosity shown in her eyes while Taemin and Sulli just gave a smile as their replied.
