And being the gentleman as he already is, he let the girl to walked in first.

“ Are you sure this movie is nice ? “

“ Might be. I heard it from Kai few days ago. “

 

Not a brilliant decision to watch ' Premium Rush ' on the first place but it was still a wise decision to make since he don't want to make it so obvious by watching a romantic film which will eventually made the girl to feel awkward, as been thought by him. He just don't want to ruin their mood of hanging out together as been thought by Sulli while in his minds, it was of course like a date. He just need to take it easy and not rushing on things.

 

 

[ Flashback ]

 

Taemin just watched as the picture being held by Sehun, looking at it lovingly.

“ It must be a surprise to you ? “

“ Definitely a surprise. “

He chuckled but still hasn't get his eyes away from the picture.

“ How long has it .. you know ? “

“ I don't know, almost a year ? “

He just nodded tried to act cool in front of him. Never had crossed in his minds that the lad next to him will fall for his own best friend.

“ I remembered this picture. It's during the school festival right ? “

“ Yup and the only picture that she stood next to me. “

 

He snatched the picture gently from Sehun's hand and look at it carefully. There, as been said by him, Sulli and Sehun was stood next to each other with Taemin and Kai at his right side and the girls at Sulli's left side. But that wasn't just it, it was something else which Taemin thought might be the core reason for him to keep the picture with him. He noticed how her hand awkwardly cling around his arm, and he was no better, making those peace sign with an awkward smile.

 

“ Why didn't you tell her ? “

“ I don't know. Not ready I guess. “

“ You've keep it well don't you think. “

“ Is that a compliment ? “

Taemin just laugh at his words.

“ So, what do you think of this ? “

“ Of what ? “

“ Of my crush on Sulli of course. “

“ Oh, that. I don't know. It's your feelings. What it have to do with me ? “

“ I don't know, maybe because of your protectiveness over her. “

“ First, that should be called as cares and second, even if I don't like it, I can't just stop your feelings for her right ? But I can stop her from seeing you..haha. “

“ See, that's what I meant. “

“ Haha. I'm just joking. I don't see any harm if you like her. But as you know, it's really hard for me to approve just any guy even if he is my own friend. Go on if you want to confess I won't mind but if she happen to like you back, I might need to keep my eyes on you for awhile before give my approval. It's her first and I really don't want her to get hurt. “

“ I get what you mean. “

“ Glad you do. “

“ I guess I won't be courting her until you give the green light ? “

“ Any way that you want. I don't mind. “

“ You keep on saying that you don't mind but the truth is you care about each of the thing that I might do later for her. Are you sure you just care for her as a friend ? “

“ Whatever. I'm tired of repeating the same thing. “

“ I hope you won't change that. “

“ Definitely not gonna change. So, what makes you like her ? “

“ She's ... adorable. “

“ Right. Anything else ? “

“ I think my life won't be bored if I'm with her. “

“ I think I shouldn't asked this question at the first place. You're creeping me up with your smiles. Eh ? What time is it ? “

“ Almost 10.30. “

“ Great. No wonder I felt hungry. I gotta go. Sulli is waiting for me at the cafeteria. “

“ Alright. See you at the class. “

 

* It must be really great if I'm Taemin. I can always have Sulli by my sides. *

 

[ End Of Flashback ]

 

 

“ I wonder where did he put his brain ? “

Thought Taemin as he watched both of them headed into the room which was specialize for the ' Premium Rush ' movie.

“ I should have told him about Sulli's adoration of the chick-flick at the first place. “

He stayed for a while, thinking of what to do next and decided to just go back home.

 

 

 

Night

 

“ Still not reply to my messages. He is so dead. “

Sulli hissed under her breath while browsing her phone and left disappointed and irritated at the same time when she found nothing.

“ Your food. “ He put the tray down on the table before handed her the food.

“ Thanks. “ She muttered in a smile before take a bite on her hamburger.

“ So, how's today ? “

“ It's fun. Thanks. I don't know what to do if I didn't met you. It's all Taemin's fault. “

“ It's kinda a good thing that he's not here. “

“ Dae ? “

“ I mean, to think about it, we had never hang out together as is only the two of us right ? “

“ Yeah, you're right and hanging out with you was not that bad either. “

“ Glad that you like it. So, where are we next ? “

Sulli looked at her watched and was surprised to see the clock almost to 10.

“ I think, we should head back home after this. It's almost 10. “

Though he is disappointed, “ Alright. I don't want to get scolded for letting you get back home late at night. “

Sulli just laugh at him because she thought he was referring to Victoria while the lad actually talks about Taemin.

“ Maybe, we can go out at some other time ? “

He was hesitant at first but decides to just gather up all of his courage and ask her.

“ That would be nice Sehun and maybe, this time Taemin and the rest can join us. “

 

Sehun was mentally hitting his head for even thinks that Sulli might get what he meant. He should have known that she was not going to left out her best friend and that slightly irks him at the fact that Taemin is always her priority no matter what. Even though, she had mentions that she have a great time spending her day with him alone.

Sehun insisted to send Sulli back to her house although she had assured that she was fine with taking the bus.

“ You don't really have to you know. Your house is far away from mine. “

“ It's not like I'm walking there or what. “

“ I know but ... “ She still felt bad about burdening him for sending her back.

“ I was technically responsible for your safety Sulli since we are technically going out together. I'm not gonna to let you go back alone by bus. It's already late and many things could happen in between. “

“ Thank you once again. You are so kind Sehun. “

Hearing those compliment coming out from eventually making him to jolted in happiness.

“ Oh, look who's waiting for you. “

Said Sehun when he spotted the familiar figure that were standing right in front of her house, when they almost reach the place.

“ Just the right person I wanna see. “ Sulli uttered smirking at Sehun who just shook his head at her.

As they reached, quickly Taemin approaching them, helping Sulli to open the door.

“ Welcome home. “ He uttered cheerfully though in the inside he was battling with his fears of Sulli's nags later on.

Sulli didn't said a word and just glare at Taemin who obviously trying his best to avoid making any eye contacts with her.

“ I'll see you guys at school tomorrow. “

Sehun's voice happened to broke the tensed in between them and Taemin hurriedly wave a goodbye to him and so do Sulli.

“ Thanks Sehun. See you. “

The last thing that she uttered before Sehun drove away from their neighborhood.

“ I'll be heading back too ... “

“ YOU !! “

 

 

“ What's the chaos down here ? “ Victoria quickly ran downstairs when she heard a loud noise from there.

“ It's him. “ Sulli pointed at Taemin who just stood there looking at Victoria.

“ Why is he here ? “

“ She dragged me in. “

“ Sulli ... “

“ He didn't show up, leaved me alone at the mall like a fool. “

“ You're not alone. Sehun is with you. “

“ Which was supposed to be you at the first place. “

“ Alright. Both of you, cut it out. We are trying to sleep if you notice ? Whatever that happened between you two, better to settle it nicely and when I mean nice is by not making too much noises like shouting to each other and whatsoever. Got that ? “

Victoria threw each one of them a fierce glare before walked back towards her room.

“ Tsk, like I don't know that she was on phone with Onew oppa. “

Sulli said in annoyance before turned back to look at Taemin.

“ Explain. “

“ I told you I had to go to my parents house. “

“ No I mean explain the part of not letting me know about it at the first place and also the part of not reply to my messages as well and not picking up my calls too. “

“ I left my phone in the car. “

“ Do you think I'm gonna believe that ? “

“ I don't know what to tell anymore. I've said it all. “

She heaved a frustration sighs before lead her way towards the couch, letting her body sank onto it.

Taemin follows her seconds after that and plopped himself next to her, “ Hey, I'm sorry. Forgive me ? “

She looked at him and turned to looked away seconds after that when he threw his infamous puppy eyes.

“ That won't work for tonight. “ Said Sulli sternly, trying her best not to fall for that.

Taemin just have to add more aegyo and there she's smiling looking at him.

“ I hate it when you did that. “

“ I love it when you hate it .. haha. “

“ Babo. I won't forgive you if this happen again. Got that ? “

“ Yes madam !! “

 

 

Sulli gave one of the hot chocolates that she made to Taemin before sipping her'.

“ So, Sehun huh ? “

“ What's with your smile ? “

“ Did something happened between you two ? “ Taemin tried his best to look clueless in front of her.

“ What's with your question ? We just hang out. “

“ Hang out ? That's all ? “

“ Tell me, what exactly you had in your minds right now ? “

“ Nothing, I mean .. nothing. “

“ Right, now let me drink this hot chocolates peacefully. “

He nodded but then, “ Are you sure he didn't tell you anything ? “

“ Tell me what ? “

“ Err .. that .. nothing. “

* Sehun, why are you so slow in this ? *

“ Did you know something that I don't know ? “

“ No. “

“ Because you're acting weird Lee Taemin. “

“ I'm not. I'm just teasing you that's all. “

“ I'll let it slide. “

“ Nothing .. really. “

“ I believe you. “

* So, mission no.1 .. FAILED ! *

 

 

 

Day After

 

“ I thought I said to use it wisely ? “

“ What is it Taem ? “

“ Why didn't you tell her ? “

“ I don't want to rush things and she might be surprise of it. “

“ Of course she will, but don't you think it will be easier ? At least, she will look at you differently, and not just as a friend anymore. She might consider it as well. “

“ Why do I sense that you're the one who's excited over it ? “

“ I'm not excited. I'm just pissed with the fact that you choose to not reveal your feelings to her when you were given the chance. “

“ Alright. I'm just not ready ok. I'm afraid with her rejection. “

“ Just forget all of those and tell her. What is it so hard ? “

“ I told you. It's really hard. “

“ Just say ... SULLI ! I LOVE YOU ! “

 

He just spilled it with full of emotion but to his horror he just said it out loud, making the whole class to be in silence and gave their whole attention towards Taemin who just stood frozen in front Sehun who was no better than him.

 

But what makes him to be in more embarrassed is when, “ Mworago ? “

The girl, technically the girl who had her name been mentioned just now, starting to questions him with a peculiar stares.

“ A-ha .. I .. Help me here. “

 

He gave a nudge to Sehun's arm, with a pleading eyes, asking for his help. He had never been so nervous before whenever he had to face Sulli but this time, he don't know why the stares that she threw making him to be in an uneasiness.

 

“ Err .. we .. we just have a bet. “

Sehun able to think of a lie though he had cleared his throat for couple of times to utter those.

“ Yeah, a bet and .. go on .. “ Taemin trying to help him but his minds was blank a moment.

“ Who-whoever that can said ' Sulli ! I love you ! ' out loud can get err .. “ He gave a quick glance at Taemin, signals him that he's out of idea.

“ A free meal for a whole week. Yeah, that's it. “

He said it in one shot looking so relieve at Sulli before added, “ And Sulli, I won. “

Sulli who was at first was full with confusion had finally shook her head as well as cracking a laugh before muttered, “ Babo. “

 

The duo can finally heaved a sigh of relief when Sulli turned back to the front and headed towards her seat.

“ You guys can continue with what you were doing. “

Taemin assured the classmates and he could hear some were giggling at him and Sehun.

“ That was close. “

“ Yeah, I nearly spilled the fact that you're the one who's  in love with her and not me. “

“ Your fault for being over excited. “

“ I'm trying to help you man. No thank you at all. I'm done with you. “

Playfully, he pushed Sehun's body slightly before walked back to his seat leaving Sehun laughing at him.

“ That was the weirdest bet I've ever heard. “ Sulli asserted once Taemin took his seat.

“ Huh ? Oh, yeah. Weird. “

 

He still didn't get over with his embarrassment and keep on fanning himself after that, leaving Sulli to looked at him in worried when she noticed his face gets flushed.

 

“ Are you sick ? “ Asked Sulli while feeling his temperature.

“ No. I'm fine .. Just, quite hot in here. Haha. “

“ Hot ? Errm, drink this then. “ She handed him her leftover drink.

He gladly took it and drank it in one-shot. “ Thanks. “

But then Taemin noticed that he's being watched so he turned to his right where he found Luna were smiling mischievously at him.

“ What ? “

“ I really thought that you were confessing to Sulli just now. “

“ Yah ! “

“ Too bad that it was not. Hmm, looks like we put too much hope on Taelli, right Krystal ? “

“ Right. Let's just wait for them to be real. “

“ Yah ! “ And this time it's Sulli who took the turn to get annoyed.

“ Those two are so unbelievable. “ She murmured under her breath, giving each one of them a stern glares.

“ I hate it when they said that. “

She mumbled to herself and Taemin who happened to heard that just staring at her in an unexplainable expression.

He realized that he could feel his feelings is mixed up and it's hardly understand of which feelings is it. Whether he hate it or like it ? He don't know which one would it be.
