Onew was strolling around the park near by his apartment when suddenly he saw a familiar petite figure, so he tip toed silently

behind her but just he's about to scare her, she suddenly turned to her back and cause her camera to hit on Onew's face.

 

“ Ouch !! “

“ Omo .. Sorry .. sorry .. I didn't mean .. Onew ? “

“ Hehe .. Hi ! And that's really hurt. “

She chuckled at Onew's dorkiness. “ What are you doing here ? “

“ I live around here. “

“ Oh really ? Hold on .. let me take a look. “

She tip toed to take a closer look on his face and there's a red mark visible on it.

“ You're going to have a bruise over there. Sorry Onew. I didn't know that you're right behind me. “

“ Aaah .. It's ok. My bad actually. “

“ Huh ? “

“ Never mind about this .. I'll give a hot compression to it later. “

“ Owh .. I just remembered something. “

She pulled him to sit at the near by bench and take out something from her bag. “ Lucky I have this with me. “

She take out a napkin from her bag and also a thermos and poured a bit of the hot water onto the napkin.

“ Ouch .. It's hot. “

She let it cool down a bit and pat Onew's face with it when it's warmed.

“ Thanks .. I can do myself. “

She handed the napkin and let Onew to do it himself.

“ So, you bring hot water with you all along ? “

“ Hehe .. yeah .. I love hot drink at this kind of weather. “

“ Why don't you just buy it somewhere because It's kinda dangerous to carry a hot water with you. Even if you used the

thermos. “

“ This way is more cheaper. You can save your money. “

That made Onew to remembered about Victoria and him when they were young.

 

 

[ Flashback ]

 

“ Noona .. look what I have for you. “ Onew showed a plate of rice with some side dishes to Victoria.

“ I didn't asked you to buy it for me. “

“ I know .. I just did because I want to. “

“ Why ? “

“ Huh ? Err .. “

“ I look pity in front of you right ? I always ate bread or sometimes I just ate packed lunch that I brought from home. Your food

is way better than mine since I only had anchovies and egg rolls for my lunch. “

“ Noona .. I .. “ Onew felt slightly guilty since he felt that he already offended Victoria.

Victoria had never born in a wealthy family and that's why she always tried her best to save some money by cutting out her

lunch. Sometimes she even didn't take her lunch and that's made him worry for her.

“ Hehe .. Don't worry I know your good intention. So I'll take this. “

She took the plate and just let Onew to watch her eating.

“ You want some of these ? It's pretty a lot anyway. “

“ It's ok. I can buy mine. “

“ But sharing is caring. Eat with me ok ? Aaah .. here you go .. your favorite chicken. “

Onew chuckled and just open up his mouth waiting for her to shove the food inside it.

“ Yummy ! “ He give his famous eye smile to her.

“ Onew .. do you want to learn on how to save your money ? It's going to be so useful since I kinda noticed that you're always

wasting your money on things that you don't even need. “

Onew chocked hearing that. “ What you mean ? I do buy things that I need. “

“ Yeah right ? Do you really need that skate board ? Or .. the new shoes ? And I just saw your new MP3. I thought you just

bought the last one last two week ? “

“ Ok .. I get it. I'm wasting a lot of my parents' money .. so ? “

“ I know that you're from a wealthy family but let me tell you something, It's going to be a lot fun using your own than your

parents' .. it's also will make you appreciate your parents' effort all this while. “ He just listened to her.

He had never thought of that and she made him to realized it at the first time.

So after that day, Victoria said that she will make their lunch from home and tried to cut everything that he don't need.

And since that, Onew had change to better and it's all because of Victoria.

 

[ End Of Flashback ]

 

 

“ Onew .. are you listening ? Hello ! “

“ Huh? Owh .. sorry .. I just thought of something. Anyway .. what chu doing here all alone ? “

“ Well something about my assignment. “

“ Do you need help ? I was kinda bored actually. “

“ Really ? I would love to. Thanks. “

“ Where were you ? “ Junhyung asked.

“ I'm at the park. “

“ With a girl .. hehe “ Doojoon smirked at him once he uttered those.

“ Huh ? Onew .. I can't believe you're this fast ? Who is he talking about huh ? “ Junhyung take his turned to .

“ Don't think too much. She just my friend. I've met her at the campus once. “

“ Friend ? Really ? Because what I saw just now didn't say it that way .. keke “

Doojoon still having fun which made Junhyung to become even more curious.

“ Tell me .. what did you see ? “

“ Onew was back hugged her. “

“ WHAT ?? ! “

“ Yah ! Doojoon ! “

“ What ? I just said what my eyes saw. “

“ It's nothing even close to that. “

Onew doesn't seem able to convinced them with that since they stared at him suspiciously.

“ Yah ! Really ! I was just helping her out. I just teach her on how to take a good shot for her assignment. “

“ By back hugging her ? “

“ I wasn't aware of that actually and when I does I quickly moved away. Anyway why did I mind to explain this to you ? “

“ Because you afraid that we gonna report this to Vic noona .. haha “

“ Tell whatever that you want to her. She won't care even a little. “

“ Haha .. we're just teasing you. Don't be too serious dude. “

“ I'm not. Hey .. do you guys wanna meet her ? “

“ Great ! Now you're talking .. hehe “

“ I'll bring her to the studio tomorrow so .. be there by noon. “

“ We'll be there. For sure .. haha “

Next Day

 

“ Who are these guys again ? “

“ My childhood friends. Owh .. there they are. “

Onew waved at Junhyung and Doojoon who's kinda looked pissed with him.

“ What took you so long ? “

“ We're late ? It's only 12.05 .. “

“ Owh .. we forgot .. we're early .. hehe “

“ Babo ! “

Just then Doojoon already have his eyes to So Eun who's smiled shyly at him.

“ Yah ! You're scarring her. “ Onew smacked his back which made him startled.

“ So Eun .. this is Junhyung and Doojoon. “

“ Annyeonghaesaeyeo .. It's nice meeting both of you. “

“ The pleasure is ours .. So Eun-shi. “ Junhyung bowed to her.

“ So what made you came here ? “ Doojoon asked trying to start the conversation with her.

“ Onew had told me about the exhibition and I'm dying to see his works. So here I am. Anyway I can learn something from

him too. “

“ Yeah .. he's the best. You should really check out the photos. It was amazing. “

Doojoon give a thumb up to Onew who's slightly embarrassed with it.

“ So which one is the one ? “

“ I'm sure you can guess it by yourself. “ Junhyung showed her the way followed by Onew and Doojoon from behind.

They passed by few pictures on the wall and she stopped when a picture caught her eyes.

“ Is it this one ? “ She asked them.

“ See .. I told you .. you can figure it out by yourself. “

“ Who wouldn't ? This is so beautiful even the person is beautiful. “

She smiled at him before take a closer look at the picture.

“ Your technique is really good. I wish I can captured one like this too someday. “

“ I'm sure you will. “ Doojoon do a fighting to her which made her chuckled.

“ He's right .. just our Onew is quite genius himself that's why he able to do this in a short time. “

Junhyung patted his back which made Onew to looked at him with his touched expression.

“ That was creepy so stop doing that ! “ Junhyung pushed him away which made Onew to laughed.

The three of them become closer to So Eun since that meeting.

They just feels like So Eun is one of their childhood friend too since she's quite cool in person and always cared for each of them.

 

So Eun and Onew were having their tea break at the garden.

“ Here you go .. your tea. “ She handed him a cup of tea that she made by herself.

“ Aren't you saving enough ? I'm sure your piggy bank were full with money now. You can just break it in anytime .. hehe “

He blow the hot tea while staring at her.

“ Hello ! I'm not a rich kid remember ? “

“ Aish .. I'm just teasing you. Owh .. it's already 5 ? Where are these guys ? “ Onew said after he checked the time at his phone.

“ They're gonna be here in awhile. “

Both of them just enjoyed the drink until suddenly So Eun started back their conversation with,

“ Don't you wanna talk about her ? “

“ Who ? “

“ The one on your wallpaper and from the picture inside your wallet. “

She chuckled when she noticed his face become slightly pink maybe because of embarrassment.

“ Come on .. I've become your friend for about a month now. “

He heaved a big sighed. “ She's my best friend. “

“ That's it ? Best friend ? Why do I feel hard to believe in that ? “

She smirked at him which made him to become restless.

“ You love her right ? “

Onew hesitantly nodded his head.

“ So .. what's the problem ? Why don't you look happy whenever you looked at it ? “

“ I don't know. It feels like our relationship has become slightly awkward after the day that I confessed my feelings to her. “

“ Why did you said that ? “

“ She's turned me down. “

“ Owh sorry. “

“ Nah .. I'm already fine with that .. just .. I really feels uneasy right now. Sometimes I feel like she also had the same feeling

towards me but I know that's impossible since she's rejected me right ? I hate myself for having that kind of thought in my mind.

But she's the one who made me think that way. “

“ Did she do something ? Are you avoiding her cuz you sounds like that. “

“ Yeah I did lately .. sometimes she become a little bit more caring, loving, cheesy .. and .. “

“ Ok .. I get it. Hmm .. maybe .. she did fall for you. “

“ No way ! I heard her clearly that I'm just her best friend and not more than that. “

“ Ok .. I really want to help you but I don't know how. All that I can say right now is just to work on your friendship. That's the

best. Don't avoid her cuz it will hurt her feelings and yours too. Maybe she didn't aware that she already made you feel

uncomfortable with whatever that she did. You just lost your love so don't let your friendship gone too. Maybe she just missed

you a lot and that's why she shows her affection to you. “

“ Woah ! I didn't know you're this good. “

“ Well .. I'm starting to become a genius like you too .. keke “

“ Thanks anyway. I feel a lot better now after I let my worries out. “

“ What's a friend for right ? Hmm .. It's gonna be really great if she come to the exhibition and see your work by her own eyes. “

“ No way ! I won't allow her to come near my photos. “

“ Why ? “

“ Are you crazy ? That was so embarrassing. What she will think about that later ? “

“ Maybe she's gonna cry ? Hehe ! “

“ Whatever ! I just can't imagine if she was here with us on that day. “

Onew already had goosebumps all over his body just to think about it.

I just want to clarify Onew and So Eun's relationship in this story .. hehe .. 

And sorry if there's no Ontoria's moment in here, but there are Junew .. hahaha .. 

I just love their friendship ( in reality )

and can't help but to put some of their moment in this story.
