Sulli just gave a nod as the answer to Taemin.

Finally she's given in only to received a big laughed of victory from Taemin.

 

She was kinda irritated with the fact that Taemin still have a time to make fun of her while their problem was still remains as a problem. She tried to think of something to get him back when she noticed Taemin won't stop mocking her and fortunately she got one which she thought was quite a strong point for her to knock him down.

“ Remember that noona of yours ? “

That eventually made Taemin to stop laughing and his eyes widened looking at Sulli.

“ Y-yah ! Stop it Ssul ... “

The 13 years old Lee Taemin walked towards the hall as everyone's eyes fixed on him. He started to get nervous with the stares that he got from the people surrounding him. It's not like this is the first time he gets this kind of attention and he still don't know why he can't get over it.

The words that he always heard from his parents' friends which slightly irritated his ears.

 

He's 13 now and he's expecting something more than just an adorable in other's eyes. He's expecting something like,

His eyes started to traveled around the hall, trying to find the one that just spoke.

Slowly he turned to his back only to have a confusion on his face as their eyes met.

His eyes narrowed as he trying to remember the face of the one that have been looking at him with a smile.

“ Noona ? Tiffany noona ! “

“ Yah ! Did you have to take so much time to remembered me ? “

He didn't say a word not even an apology and just ran towards her to give her a bear hung.

“ I miss you. “

“ Babo, that's why I'm here. I miss you too mushroom head. “

She ruffled his mushroom head only to cause her hand being swatted by him.

Hwang Miyoung or better known as Tiffany, was the one that Taemin took as his closest noona since he's an only child, the one that he considered as his sibling. But, it didn't last long as the feelings started to turned into something more than just a love between a brother to his sister.

 

It's all begin when Tiffany started to know this guy name Choi Siwon, whom she knows from her own parents as if they are trying to set her up with him. Taemin never felt happy when the two started to met as he feels like he's gonna lose her whenever she's with that Choi Siwon.

 

Being the naive child he is, he decided to seek for an advice from his fellow friend and only to received, “ You like her. “ as the answer. And being the simple-minded, he finally took Key's advice to just confessed to the one though it was completely been against by Onew who being the matured one on that time. Onew knew his feelings towards Tiffany was only a crush and not to be considered as something serious. He already tried to his best to clear that fact to Taemin but it was a failure since his immature diva dongsaeng keep on bugging the maknae's minds by confessing to Tiffany.
 

 

One day,

“ I like you. “

 

He speaks what has he decided but slightly disappointed with the fact that Tiffany just laughed it off, thinking that he's adorable while uttering those.

 

“ Thanks for speaks it up to me though I already know that fact. “

“ Really ? Do you like me too ? “

“ Eung .. of course I like you too. “

“ Really ? “

“ Really .. really .. but Taemin-ah .. I like you as my dongsaeng. “

His smiles slowly faded as those words coming out from Tiffany's mouth.

“ Dongsaeng ? Only ? “

Tiffany tried her best to pulled off a smile though she does felt hurt inside looking at the heartbroken one in front of her.

 

Few days after Taemin received the consultation from his friends, Onew decided to meet Tiffany and let her know about it. Something that Taemin doesn't know on that time. His intention was good. He don't want Tiffany to feel too surprised with the news when Taemin make his confession and aside the reason where he knew both Tiffany and Siwon shared same feelings towards each other. He wants her to prepare herself for the confrontation with Taemin.

 

“ Do you mad at me ? “

He shook his head, while keeping his gaze at his shoes, trying to prevent his tears to fall.

 

“ Taem, you're confused with your feelings. You only like me as your noona and not more than that. It's my fault actually, I've abandoned you since I met Siwon oppa and you were jealous over the attention that I gave him which then you take the jealousy as a love kind of feelings. But, it's not. Believe me. “

 

He tilted his head, making his eyes to met the smiling angel in front of him. His confused expression makes Tiffany to smiled some more.

 

“ Taemin-ah, you won't understand it for now but when you grow up, you will know what I'm saying is right. “

“ So, you don't want me to be your boyfriend ? “ He finally spoke with his already watery eyes.

Seems like his mind was too simple that makes Tiffany thinks whether he can absorbs her words just now or not.

“ You looks better as my dongsaeng. “

He just have to heaved a sighed.

 

 

One Month After

 

Tiffany have to move to the States next month due to her parents' business matter, so Taemin decided to introduced her to someone while she was still there, at Seoul. It was rare for Taemin to introduce any of his friends to Tiffany and she know he only did that when he takes that person as someone that is important in his life, just like Onew, Key and Minho.

 

 

“ She's cute Taemin. “

Taemin took a quick glance at the girl beside him before shifted his gaze towards Tiffany who's been smiling since she met her.

“ Unnie, you're so pretty. Taeminnie talks about you a lot. “

“ Taeminnie ? “ Tiffany looked at Taemin with a chuckled.

“ How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that ? “

“ I thought you like it ? “

“ I mean, not when in front of Fany noona. “

His whispers was heard by Tiffany but she just have to held her laughter.

“ Anyway, it's good to know that there is someone who can stay by Taemin's side while I'm away. Thanks Sulli. “

“ Aniyo, I'm more happy to have Taemin as my best friend. “

“ Hey, since when we had upgraded to that level ? “

“ Seems like Fany unnie puts her trust on me to take care of you, I decided to make you my best friend since that. “

 

It has been a month since the new girl named Sulli came into his class and as if she came at the right time when Taemin needs somebody to cheer himself back again. Sulli just fit the role completely. Her bright personality had made Taemin to slowly forgotten his sorrow of being rejected by Tiffany. It was weird that he had bounded to her that easily.

 

In just two weeks, he already put his trusts on her and didn't hesitate to shared his secret and problem with her especially when it comes to Tiffany. She didn't gave any much help either in solving his problem but she able to make the smiles on his face to formed in a short time whenever he felt down and Taemin don't think he needs more than that from her.

 

“ Your girlfriend's boyfriend is so handsome. “

She was referring to Tiffany and Siwon whose right now walking few steps away from them.

“ She's my noona, not my girlfriend. “

“ Since when it change ? I thought you still like her. “

“ I do but I think she's right. She suits more with the role of a sister than a girlfriend. “

“ So, you gave your approval ? “

“ I guess so. “

“ Fany unnie must be happy when she know this. What makes you change your mind towards Siwon oppa ? “

“ I don't know but I do feel touched when he decided to continue his study at States just so that he can take care of noona. “

Taemin nodded to her.

Both of them were startled when Siwon suddenly turned to looked at them.

Taemin helped the stuttered Sulli afterwards while Sulli just have to pulled her fake smiles.

 

His head shook with the weird thought that he had in his mind when his eyes fixed to the sight before him. Somehow, he does feel like it was indeed a beautiful sight when looking at Siwon and Tiffany together and it only made him to feels more embarrassed when his minds happened to recalled back his confession towards her. He didn't feel angry neither do jealous at this moment, in fact, he felt happy when someone like Choi Siwon were there beside his beloved noona, Fany noona.

 

“ Hello ! Earth to Taeminnie ! “

He was startled by the called but smiled as soon as he saw Sulli waving her hand in front of his face.

Double embarrassment for spacing out ! He thought.

She bid a goodbye to Onew who's heading his way towards his car before making her way towards her own class, her new class exactly.

She wandered around the hallway just to hope that she would findd that class that she has been looking for.

She heaved a sigh as her eyes still travels around and that's when she thought she had found an Angel. Her eyes blinked repeatedly with the sight before her. It was a guy which she thought was an Angel with the way the sun ray shone behind him, making him seems glowing in her eyes but luckily he don't have wings or else she might stick with that thought of her'. Everything around her seems to be in a slow motion as that person heading his way towards her. Her feet was glued on that spot while her eyes was glued on his eyes, his big round eyes and her heart thumps like crazy when she caught a glimpse of his smiles. 

 

 

“ Are you new ? “

She can't say a word thought she really want to.

“ You seems lost to me. You're a new student right ? “

Her dazed was broken when she felt the paper sheet that she's been holding onto were slowly taken by his.

“ Owh, you're in my class. “

The only word that was spitted out from her out and she regretted for saying that at the first place since it sounds like a shrieked to her.

“ Yes, follow me. I'm on my way actually. “

Her stomach tickled as she hears that.

As if Taemin was the one who's the freshie in the class instead of Sulli since she is the one who's done all the talking while Taemin just flashes his shy smile and nodded to her words.

The question that he's been dying to know the answer was finally be able to asked.

“ My father works for his dad. We were pretty much close to each other. The Lee is so kind to my family. “

Both of them were startled by that voice and only to found a petite girl with a straight black hair were smiling at them, while a girl with an icy glares were staring at them next to her.

Two Months After

 

“ I don't think he suits you Ssul. “

“ Waeyeo ? “

“ He is .. well .. old ? And he is our teacher and .. “

“ Age doesn't matter in love Taeminnie .. the most important thing is the chemistry and we have that. “

“ This is what you got for watching too much drama. Anyway, he teaches Science not Chemistry. “

“ We've been tried to but you won't listen to us. “

“ Taeminnie ! “

Krystal uttered with a chuckled and stops immediately when she caught the glare that he throw to her.

“ And you have to rub it on my face Lee Taemin. “

“ Hehe .. chill. I just want to cheer you up. “

“ Thanks but you made it worse. “

“ Alright. Stop it you two. Lee Taemin I assigned you in the operation of cheering up Choi Sulli after this since I'm quite busy. “

“ I have a practice this evening. “

They just sat on the bench looking at the ice rink which was full with people on that time.

Both of them entered the rink hand in hand hoping for their sad feeling will vanish once they stepped onto the icy floor.

Yup, it only took them a few seconds to forget about their sadness.

“ At least she made us to concentrate more in class. “
