Special Chapter Five: A Family's Love

Spring mornings where they run through the woods.
Summer nights stargazing and catching fireflies.
Autumn afternoons basking beneath the warm sun and sweeping off dead leafs.
And winter evenings sitting by the fire, talking about planets, constellations and galaxies.
That’s what Joohyun missed the most before he had kids, the little things that he used to do with Seungwan.
“So,” Sakura chimed in. “You miss your youth memories with mother?”
“Yeah, a lot.” said Joohyun. “So does my memories with Seulgi and Jisoo.”
His daughters may not be curious children, but sometimes curiosity would win over them, and they would ask their parents about their past from time to time.
“You can create the same memories with them again. Just because it’s all in the past doesn’t mean you can’t do it in the present.” Tsubaki remarked softly.
“I know, sweetheart.” Joohyun smiled. “It feels good to look back on the old days to remind ourselves that we did something worth to be remembered.”
Tsubaki smiled back, and nodded quietly.
Then she and Sakura retreated back to painting.
Every afternoon in the weekends, it was a routine for Tsubaki and Sakura to sit in the backyard alongside their father.
They would either play the guitar or continue their unfinished paintings, while Joohyun would watch them and sometimes help them with the paintings.
