Day 39

AMBER’S POV

After what happened yesterday, Doc Yoona still decided to push through with Krystal’s surgery tomorrow. She was saved by Changwook Hyung and the Gyeonggi Police Squad who took custody of Henry and brought him to the agency.

I learned from the detective that Henry almost lost his consciousness when Hyung had him in a choke hold, my former friend turning blue because of lack of air. It was Yoona unnie who stopped him and administered First Aid to Henry after the Police bounded his wrist with plastic cuffs.

When I saw him in the agency, I can’t help but feel pity over him. Vic also came with the executives of the entertainment agency looking into what happened. I told them even though Henry is a friend of mine, what he did is something I can’t leave like that. I filed a case against him together with Kang Daesung, his Manager, and assistant.

I had the chance to talk to him yesterday inside the interrogation room. He was high as when the police got there, he almost Doc Yoona if not for the girl being a brave one maybe he succeeded. The police told me that his drug test results confirmed that there is a high percentage of illegal substance in his blood and urine, same as his hair strands when they did the test for the . The also discovered a clutch bag with 5 sticks of it plus butts on the floor and packets, in the bathroom there was traces of the powder on the sink and a rolled up ₩1000 that he used to snort the powdery substance. I asked the police if there is any possibility that Henry will only get probation and rehabilitation if he is sentenced, they told me the Prosecution will surely push for a Prison stint since his crimes are multiple. Illegal possession of narcotics, Kidnapping, Attempted , plus his other DUI and ual Assault charges before that he was just given a slap on the wrist.

The crazy thing about Henry is, at first he was apologizing. Crying even in front of me. I didn’t dare let Krystal face him even if she is hellbent on wanting to see him and crush his balls especially when she learned he tried to touch her precious cousin. I don’t want her super stressed because of him. When I told him his sorry won’t take him out of jail and he should face all the charges against him that’s the time he went nuts and spitted words out of his mouth. He was cursing me for being a bad friend because of not helping him, even accused me of letting him rot in jail because I want him to be wiped out in the face of the Music Industry because he is a threat on my career.

Here I thought all along, all these years that we have been friends… what we have is just a healthy competition. Since he is in the Male Idol Category and me of course in the Female Category. I never knew he has that hidden anger and envy towards me. Our Agency doesn’t overlap our promotions in Music Shows because they know what will happen, not to be boastful but I always win in Music Shows and always gives my gratitude to my fans, the Agency, and the people who has helped me achieve it. Its hardwork that made me achieve these things I have now, this fame.

And its high time I get my vacation from all of this craziness, after what happened… it makes me more motivated on making my hiatus more earlier. I don’t have to prove anything now, I already surpassed what is expected from me.  

“Earthling… can I eat Ice Cream?~~” Krystal asked while looking at me like a cute puppy. I stared at her contemplating if she should or not while we are lying together on her hospital bed when Sooyeon and Yuri suddenly came barging inside the room holding a paper bag startling me.

“Soojung-ah! I got Ice Cream for you!!”

She looked at me pouting like a kid scrunching her nose because we were disturbed. Cute.. hahaha… She’s already in her pajamas because we are already preparing to sleep early, I’m scooting beside her on the narrow bed because she doesn’t want to sleep alone.

“Just a little Krys…”

“How little is a little Earthling?…”

“Yah! Its just Ice Cream! Let her eat!” Aww…~~ why does my sister in-law have such very heavy hands? I didn’t even expect that slap on my head!

“Unnie!!! Don’t hurt my wife!” Krystal reached for my head the part Sooyeon smacked me. “Does it hurt Earthling?”

“A little… but its okay…” I pouted at her. Soon, the two of us are pouting at each other like kids until both of us let out a laugh. Yuri unnie came to my side and patted my back whispering.

“She has her period that’s why she’s like that… please accept my apology on her behalf Yiyun. Soojungie…” my sister gave my wife a tight hug patting her head like a kid “Ready for tomorrow?”

“Yup, ready unnie.”

“We were going to sleep early when the two of you came Yuri unnie…” I whispered at my sister while Sooyeon approaches us holding the cup of Ice Cream for Krys, her favorite Vanilla flavor topped with fresh Blueberries.

I don’t know what’s with Sooyeon hehehe… maybe its really her period because she’s glaring at me. Yuri unnie said that Sooyeon is really sensitive when she’s having her period so better not contradict her or stop her on doing what she wants.

The sisters had a small talk about what happened yesterday, I only answer when Krystal will ask me or when Sooyeon will. My sister in-law is scary! But with Krystal she is so sweet and very attentive older sister. She’s even feeding her with the Ice Cream!

There is a reason why we were going to sleep early. It was Krystal’s idea and who am I to say NO. *winkwink* We didn’t expect the couple to visit this late because even our parents went home early and promised to come back tomorrow morning for support.

I know… I know… I told her that hanky panky is already not allowed before her surgery but I can’t just say No especially when she started my nape telling me about it after our parents left. We thought we’re already in the clear since her Mom said this couple will come tomorrow instead of today. I don’t know what changed their minds. I already have her bra under the pillow my goodness!

Krystal was taking secret glances at me, widening her eyes like saying something. I narrowed my eyes while looking at her trying to understand what she wants to say, she was pointing her lips to the pillows.

My gaze landed on the pillow beside her and saw her black bra peeking out under it. I immediately covered it with my arms grinning at my scary sister in-law. Come on… just go home!…

It was already past 10:00 in the evening and it seems the two of them are still staying. I tapped my sister’s shoulders who was already sleeping on the couch in the corner snoring. “Yuri unnie… hey… unnie..”

“Let her, Yiyun… she didn’t slept well last night. We will be staying here for tonight…” Krystal and I shared a look of defeat. Tsss… bummer.

I scratched my head while nodding at her “Okay… ummm…. where are you sleeping Sooyeon? You can lie here beside Yuri…”

“Oh, no. I’ll be sleeping here with Soojungie. You lie there with your sister…” What the heck!?

“Unnie!!” Aww… mission aborted (T--T)
