KRYSTAL’S POV

 

Hmmmm…

 

Why is my bolster pillow a bit hard?

 

And why does my pillow smells good and at the same time making my neck hurts?

 

I opened my eyes slowly and blinked it trying to familiarize myself on the surroundings. Where am I?

 

“Hmmm…” I heard a low groan and my head suddenly snapped my eyes landing on the sleeping face of my seat mate. How can I forget? I’m in a plane right now!

 

What shocked me is… I was hugging her arms to sleep which until now I am still hugging. Talk about being sleepy Krystal! Using a stranger’s arms as a pillow and her shoulders too!

 

But she is one fine stranger…

 

And after I step out of this plane and out of the airport, we will never see each other again so why not seize the moment and sleep in the arms of an idol looking person.

 

You really are crazy.

 

Then what is the essence of life if in one point, you didn’t do one crazy thing.

 

I can’t see her whole face because of the face mask covering but I can see her nose and it’s just right. No cosmetic surgery done… her eyelashes was a sight to behold. It was…. beautiful. My hand like it has a mind of it’s own tried to touch it but her eyes fluttered and it made me panic, afraid that she will caught me staring at her.

 

Out of panic, I buried my face on her arms pretending that I am still sleeping.

 

“ZzzzzZZZZ ngork~~zzzzzzzZZZzz…” that sounded okay, I don’t even know how I sound when I sleep. Just go back to sleep you…you… beautiful stranger!

 

The altitude is really making me crazy.

 

I heard a snicker from her and she pulled the blanket covering the two of us higher, tucking it on my chin.

 

“Cute.”

 

I just felt hotness creeping in on my cheeks and my heart fluttering with just one single word from her.

 

Closing my eyes, my lips formed a smile and fell asleep once again feeling comfortable hugging Amber Liu’s arms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was in a vast area with the rays of the golden sun shining down on me. Taking a deep breath, my eyes being fed by the beautiful scenery laid out for me. Millions of sunflowers blooming in the vast area waiting to be cut.

 

I ran on the Sunflower fields with a wide smile on my face feeling the wind and the sun. This is life… no worries, no sickness, no tragedies.

 

“Krystal!” I stopped and spun around to where the voice is coming.

 

Just a few meters away from me was a person i never thought I will dreamed of.

 

“Am--”

I suddenly opened my eyes and it landed on her face just an inch apart from me. “Krystal! You’re dreaming…” she whispered at me tapping my cheeks lightly. I broke my gaze on her and untangled my hands on her arms straightening on my seat. It was just a dream…

 

“I’m s-sorry…”

 

“It’s okay… you were saying something when I woke up and saw your eyebrows furrowing. Bad dream?” I nodded my head slowly at her then smiled.

 

“Sorry if I disturbed your sleep…”

 

“It’s okay… it was one of the best sleep I had these past few days…” she flashed that smile at me again and I swear I felt butterflies in my stomach. Aigooo Krystal…

 

Even Jongin didn’t made you feel like this.

 

Well she is more good looking than Jongin… and there’s something about her personality that lures me in.

 

You just slept on the flight and now you’re talking about things like that!

 

This will be the last time that dickhead’s name will be mentioned. Amber is someone incomparable to anyone.

 

She reached for my hair and tucked it behind my ear, a move I find lame when I watch it in movies. But when she was the one who did it, I think I just blushed.

I was just staring at her when she did it… my brain not believing what just happened. Why do I have a feeling she’s good at this? Making the hearts of girls around her flutter?

 

But she is nice…

 

She draped the blanket over me and smiled “Would you like something to eat? Wait! i’ll ask food for us, I’m actually s-starving!” she rambled at me looking so cute. She raised her hand to call the stewardess and ordered us food.

 

“Can we please have some… ahhh…” she turned to me and asked “What do you want Krystal?”

 

Oh.. she’s asking me what do I want. I cleared my throat and spoke in a soft voice “Ummm….cookie?” I saw the stewardess smiling at me and I nodded at her smiling too “Just Oatmeal Hazelnut cookies for me if you have and chocolate milk drink in a cup please.”

 

“Great! I’ll have Milk please and some Choco chip cookies too..”

 

“Come again sir… I didn’t understand?” I laughed inside when I saw the face of the stewardess finding it hard to understand what Amber said because of her face mask. I looked at her nameplate and saw that her name is Ailee... well Ailee, you are not alone. 

 

She took it off and I saw how the stewardess gulp when she saw Amber’s face and nodded eagerly on what my seat mate asked her to bring.

 

“Thank you Ailee!” she wore her facemask again and turned to me, not seeing how the stewardess’s face turned crimson red when she mentioned her name. Wow…. she really has this effect in people huh… not just in me…

 

Hold up! She had that effect in you?!

 

Yeah, no need to deny it. I admit… I got goosebumps just seeing her face earlier… I can’t help it, she’s a perfect combination of handsome and pretty. She really looks like an idol… I think I already saw her before but I don’t remember… anyways…

 

She’s not just a pretty face, she’s nice too! That’s more attractive than having a pretty face.

 

“Hey Amber…” I called her while blowing air in my hands to make it warm. The A/C in the airplane seems in a very cold mode at this hour.

 

“Yes?”

 

“What do you do? I mean… your profession.”

 

She took off her facemask and I saw how the side of her lips turned into a small smile and answered me “I’m a video game developer. I make video games, mobile games.” my eyes lit up on what she said. Bwoah!

 

“Really?! Wow… that’s cool!”

 

“My friends and I runs this small video game studio in Seoul, me and my team drafts and makes video games then we pitch it to game publishers. If they will love it, they will pay us and will publish our game. Yeah..like that.” so that’s why she looks like a nerd…

 

I mean… no offense. I actually like her style… very laid back. Skinny pants, hoodie, cap… ohhh… she got multiple earrings on her ears… y… nerd…

“What games have you made? I like playing mobile games too when I’m bored. I’m playing Cookie Run nowadays.”

 

“Have you played ‘Llama in Wonderland’?..” Llama in Wonderland?

 

I stared at her face trying to remember if I have played a game like that… Llama in Wonderland….

 

“Ah! Yeah that game! My sister was playing that game before, I also did but after Level 5 I got bored. It was really boring…” I saw how her face let out a funny aura, something between being embarrassed and amused then smiled shyly at me.

 

She scratched her nape before speaking “Actually, that game was the first game I made back then when I was still a sophomore in Hanyang where I studied…” my eyes went wide realizing the words I just said. . “I sold that game for 50,000 Dollars…”

 

50,000 Dollars…. meaning she sold it for 55,000,000,000+ Won… shucks.

 

“Hahaha… hahaha…” I look so stupid laughing to myself   ('-_-)

 

“But I agree with you, after Level 5 the game really gets boring. I’m planning to make a sequel of that game and make it more enjoyable to everyone, I’ll take into consideration your comment, Krystal…” she smiled and gave me another heart fluttering wink making me.. me.. look stupid again.
