APPEARANCE 💥 hyeonju isn't known to have curves, but she owns a fairly decent body frame. standing at 168cm and, the last time she weighed herself came out to be 52kg, just a little under the normal weight of height for her age. however, one thing to say about her, is that her visuals may or may not be your cup of tea. hyeonju has a smooth and healthy complexion with only a small tan and long now-dyed brown hair. hyeonju had previously dyed her hair a number of other colors before, like a light pink and even ombré gray, but she's since chosen to stick with natural colors for the time being as she doesn't want to completely damage her hair. her eyes are large and almond-shaped with semi-short eyelashes that only emphasize the shape of her eyes. the bridge of her nose only droops slightly, however, she owns up to a small button nose. her lips are plump with a natural tint of a peachy pink and also has cheekbones that are most evident when she smiles. as for her body, it's slender, athletic and firm in all the right places. hyeonju's most notable features, however, are her number of tattoos that are located on various parts of her body and her piercings.

STYLE 💥 because she has a job, she's forced to cover up her tattoos as it's deemed "inappropriate" and a "disturbance". so, she'll always wear long sleeve shirts and mainly jeans. hyeonju usually wears a coat or sweaters if the weather's extremely poor that day. when going to work, she'll wear the typical uniform which is always a good thing since her uniform consists of a long sleeve shirt and jeans. she regularly wears either boots or sneakers to pair with her outfit.
      💥 when she's not at work, she tends to wear whatever she wants, usually a style that's significantly different to when you see her at work and school. hyeonju loves to flaunt her tattoos and piercings, wearing short-sleeve shirts as often as she possibly can. she'll still wear jeans, many of it being ripped, and leggings when the weather isn't too cold, and continues to pair it with her usual boots or sneakers for her casual wear fashion. if it's too cold, raining or snowing, she'll tend to wear what she wears to school.

positive modest, hardworking, brilliant, alert obstinate, observant positive unambitious, enigmatic whimsical, phlegmatic, coarse, bad-tempered negative 💥 hyeonju is, what many call her, unique. despite being agravating and a little off-the-wall sometimes, she still somehow manages a steady life consisting of good grades and hardworking nature. back when she was in high school, people would always think she's unambitious and unmotivated to do projects or tasks in class. she even had moments where she just wouldn't attend class for the sole reason of not wanting to. however, that's not the whole story of hyeonju. in fact, she's extremely hardworking and intelligent. outside of the classroom, she'll always get her parts done and over with, and many of her partners caught on with that. in addition, she managed to not get kicked out of school by getting a's through tests/projects and homework, despite skipping out on classes and not study as much as the next person. some people call her too smart for her own good while others, well, can't look past her outer appearance and lack of motivation to do anything.
💥 hyeonju is someone you don't want to mess with. having a background of bullying and the lack of parental guidance shaped her to become unpredictable, you could say. she gets angered really quickly and she doesn't care much of what gender or how close you are to her. there was one instance where some boys were threatening to - word for word - "get her best friend in bed with them" and hyeonju just lost it, punching one of them in an instant. however, hyeonju isn't all that bad, but it happens frequently when you insult her/her loved ones or do anything to even start a war with her. in addition, she has been claimed to get and do what she wants no matter what and tends to get away with it. her tattoos throughout college? she got away with all of them by covering up. getting tattoos in the first place when her parents hated ink on skin? she got away with them and kept doing what she wanted. hyeonju herself doesn't know how she's able to get away with so much, but she assumes it's because she still maintained good grades and most teachers liked her presence. it's just students around her age hated her guts, only because she was an acclaimed bully/gangster, yet was also a "nerd" for getting the highest marks on numerous exams.

💥 hyeonju was born at 9am on december 29, 1992 in seoul, south korea. she was the only child of her parents, but was close to becoming the eldest of two. however, her mother had suffered a miscarriage within a month of finding out. a lot of the blame was put onto hyeonju by her mother, only because her mother was extremely stressed and fatigue from the one week where hyeonju had caught the chicken pox. her father, on the other hand, knew her mother was just acting up over the loss of her child, but, of course, was too afraid to speak up as her mother was practically the "ruler" of the house. on a positive note, her father was a operations management assistant director while her mother was a journalist for a local newspaper. overall, her family is classified as a middle-class family due to both her parents making a little over minimum-wage. 💥 as a child, hyeonju was always cold, ever since she was marked "the cause of her sibling's death". when she would meet up with her cousins for family reunions and parties her parents were invited to, hyeonju would always be by herself and reading rather than playing with dolls and house. whenever she would be forced to play with them, she would always lean towards the boy toys, which earned a bit of teasing from the other kids. but hyeonju would always rebuttal in an intellectual manner that's far too intelligent for her age group to fully comprehend. most of the time, these rebuttals would make kids cry to their parents and hyeonju would be left alone being scolded by her mother. 💥 once hyeonju made real friends, or friend persay, she was a freshman in college and it was over the fact that hyeonju had a book that one other kid liked and, surprisingly, the two bonded over that one book for the whole period. that kid's name was choi iseul and, luckily, they were still friends till this day. by this time, her parents had already left, leaving their family house empty with only hyeonju's belongings and a few fragile objects behind. although lonely and unaware of the dangers of staying in a basically unoccupied space, hyeonju would stay at iseul's apartment with her as her house would always cause chills down her spine. hyeonju hated that feeling and vowed to never go back there again. 💥 going back to when she was a little bit over the age of sixteen, hyeonju was framed for being a gangster in high school. however, she was most known to be a delinquent rather than a gangster, but her gangster persona stuck longer with her fellow peers. she skipped out on classes quite frequently and only appeared when she wanted to and when there were major exams. her high grades were the only reason the school kept her going up a grade, even despite her minimal class attendance. in addition, she would rarely study, unless it was for an exam or she had missed out on vital information, which a classmate of hers would always provide for her back when that classmate was "hyeonju's friend, but not on school grounds". another reason she never attended class was because she found the classroom to be a nuissance, hence why she would rather choose to do projects and homework outside of the classroom, usually in a library or her house. besides, her parents didn't care much at all for her attendance and the fact that she was intelligent. they tend to just let her be and would rarely bother her, waiting for the day hyeoju no longer needs their support. in school, hyeonju would often fight with other delinquents for the sole purpose of being bullied for being "an outcast" and often being "rejected by her parents", and she'd beat them singlehandedly. however, she'll only initiate the fight when people touch her property or taunting her to the point of irritation. 80% of the time, she's never the one starting the fight, hence why she's lived off her life with no suspensions and little detentions. hyeonju became very tempermental and was prone to starting/engaging in fights, all because her parents leaving her in the shadows and the amount of fights that occurred. 💥 after hyeonju graduated without her parents present, she came home that night to find out her parents had left. that was when hyeonju realized that they were just waiting for her to get into college and was truly a disgrace to her parents, especially her mother. this caused her to get a job and find a new place to stay. lucky enough, there was a restaurant downtown that allowed her to partake in cleaning. although hyeonju only made a little under minimum-wage, it was worth the wait as she was soon upgraded to a waitress position. the only problem was, however, her housing situation. because she didn't have enough money to buy or even rent her own place, she just continued to stay at her house until she found a suitable place. PRESENT 💥 now a college graduate, hyeonju still works in the same restaurant getting a bit over minimum-wage only because the restaurant is owned by her current boyfriend. a lot of people thought that hyeonju used him to get a raise and promotion, especially considering her background being completely different from her boyfriend's, but her parents actually loved hyeonju's presence, even hinting at the fact that they picture her "walking towards our son" (in short, a wedding). by this time as well, hyeonju had a good amount of her body inked with art, which a lot of people call her out for whenever she wears clothes that reveal them, but hyeonju loves it all and even hopes to get more in the future if she gets enough money to do so. but, for now, she's settling with six current tattoos. 💥 once hyeonju got together with her boyfriend, it was also around the time iseul had gotten engaged and planned to move in with her fiancé up in suwon. however, that meant that hyeonju had to find another place to live as she wants to save up enough money to get a decent place, which was difficult to do with an economy like this. however, she suddenly came across a flyer for the shared house, which, out of nowhere, landed in front of hyeonju when the wind picked up. of course, being the person she is, she decided to contact the owner for more housing information. once she received more information through the call, she decided to apply as iseul was going to move in with her fiancé in the next week. however, the application process was gruesome and long as she awaited a notice from the owner if she was accepted or not. so, for the meantime, her boyfriend allowed for her to stay with him for as long as it took and hyeonju was thankful for his kind gesture. DAILY SCHEDULE 6:30am usually wakes up in order to eat a light breakfast that consists of toast with butter, milk and sometimes even a muffin or two when she has enough time to buy/make them.
7:20am gets prepared for work (see work schedule) if she has work. if not, she'll go on small trip, which she tends to leave a note on the fridge for the other girls, unless she doesn't want them to know where she goes. 12:10pm usually she's back at the house around this time, unless she has lunch plans with her friend or boyfriend. 2:40pm if she made lunch plans with her friend or boyfriend, she'll be back around this time in order to rest. 7:10pm she tends to eat dinner around this time, either by herself or with the other girls. 8:50pm she takes 10-15 minute showers around this time and usually prepares her clothes for the next day. 10:00pm around this time is when she sleeps, but if it's a weekend or if there's a party, add about 4-5 hours to this. WORK SCHEDULE 6:30am usually wakes up in order to eat a light breakfast that consists of toast with butter, milk and sometimes even a
muffin or two when she has enough time to buy/make them.
7:20am gets prepared for work and, if she has more time to, she'll apply a bit of makeup that concists of bb cream, eyeliner and lipbalm. 8:00am heads for work around this time as it's only a thirty minute drive, if traffic permits. 9:00am work officially begins for her as this is the time when the restaurant opens. if she's early, she tends to chat with her coworkers, her boyfriend and sometimes the owners (her boyfriend's parents) or she'll read a bit before
she's called to work.
9:00pm she's usually there for 12 hours, until 9:00pm, which is closing time since there's only a small amount of waiters and waitresses working at the restaurant (3 waiters and 4 waitresses, total). she officially leaves around 9:20pm.
10:00pm she returns home and immediately jumps in the shower, only if the bathroom isn't occupied. she tends to have dinner after closing time at the restaurant, which is why she leaves at 9:20pm. if she isn't able to have dinner, she'll eat whatever's in the fridge before showering. 11:00pm she prepares for the next day after her shower and immediately heads to sleep. 💥 after meeting in college, the two became inseparable and vowed to be with each other every step of the way. iseul is hyeonju's support force, never once bringing her down to the point hyeonju had enough, unlike her friends in high school who backstabbed her completely. the two are practically sisters, and someone hyeonju had always called family after her parents abandoned ship on her. providing a roof to stay under for the time being and helping her get through college when she found it difficult, it's no wonder hyeonju always stuck to iseul for so long. but once iseul got engaged and has been living with her fiancé in suwon, hyeonju decided it was time to start living apart from her best friend in the shared house (until she got a letter back saying she could stay, she stayed with jaerim). although they parted ways, they still contact each other and video chat when they can, sometimes even visiting whenever iseul's schedule was free from her job as project manager and hyeonju's schedule as well.

💥 although jaerim may not be someone special, but to hyeonju, he's everything. the two met when hyeonju landed the job at the restaurant owned by jaerim's parents when she was eighteen and, coincidentally, jaerim had worked alongside her as a waiter while hyeonju was a bust girl. cleaning tables, cleaning dishes— jaerim saw how hardworking and dedicated she was for such a simple task as cleaning, so, thanks to him, she landed a job as a waitress. and, quickly after her promotion at the age of twenty, jaerim being twenty-one, the two began to date. no one really saw this coming, especially considering they rarely talked to each other for the past two years, but jaerim always had a thing going for her. they were complete opposites, but, hey opposites attract. jaerim has continuously been there for hyeonju and has vowed to do anything for her, he had even gone as far as getting a tattoo of her birthday (pretend it says "1 2 2 9 9 2" instead of the date it has on it) on his right wrist when he actually hates needles. jaerim loves everything about hyeonju and has always thought of marrying her in the near future as they've been dating for nearly two years. heck, they've even talked about it before, how they wish their lives would go with each other, but who knows, something might end up happening that breaks them up (hint hint).

BACKGROUND 💥 wooyoung was born into a fairly well-off family, his father owning a successful plant service and engineering firm called jangyeo plant service and engineering while his mother is an accountant in bank of korea in seoul. even his sister is doing well, attending yonsei national university, a high-end university, majoring in accounting. his family is fairly well-known throughout korea, which makes wooyoung a chaebyeol (rich kid). 💥 he attended seoul national university on a scholarship and, since his graduation, found a job extremely quickly as he began to help his father with his business, becoming one of the wealthier people of his graduating class. however, he has a difficulty in being himself. because his father wants him to focus on the job at stake, he rarely has time to date or even meet people. there's been girls who've tried to get together with him but, sadly, he had to turn them down because his father said he was "too young to date", even despite being 25 (26 in korea). however, as he's coming to his thirties, his father decided to allow him to find a girl to marry. but, when he turned down so many girls in the past and knows no other girl besides his mother and sister, will he be able to find the right one? 💥 their first meeting isn't like that of a fairytale. in fact, it's far from a fairytale. when they first met, it was when hyeonju went to search for jobs since she desperately needed a job aside from her current parttime job at the restaurant. this is when she decided to schedule a meeting with wooyoung who, at the time, was the only free person who had time in his schedule to meet her. but, because hyeonju didn't want to wear long sleeve to the meeting, wooyoung was quick to notice her tattoos on her arms. because the workforce wasn't fond of tattoos being shown, especially when it's as large as hyeonju's, wooyoung asked if she can somehow get them "surgically removed". hyeonju didn't know how to respond, but her ill-temperment came out in an instant. in other words, an exchange of inappropriate slander and words were shared, causing hyeonju to leave immediately. they both vowed to themselves to never see the other again, but little did they know, life had another plan up their sleeve. 💥 the two met again when wooyoung's father thought that his behavior towards the girl, after hearing the story through wooyoung, to be quite harsh and inappropriate on wooyoung's part. although wooyoung was just stating the facts, saying that it's part of "dress code for the company", but wooyoung's father said she can just cover up when needed. so, through wooyoung's father, they met again, but this time with his father. the second meeting went better than the first, and hyeonju was able to make a lasting impression on his father. surprisingly enough, wooyoung's father actually liked hyeonju as both a potential employee and even a potential daughter-in-law. when wooyoung heard "daughter-in-law" come out of his father's mouth, for a girl whose temper is not his cup of tea, he questioned him immediately. but, of course, his father dismissed it by telling him "don't judge a book by its cover; you might like her, too". 💥 with the help of hyeonju's resumé, he was able to contact her through text to invite her over to his home. why? because of his father thinking that wooyoung was hard on the girl, so this would be a great way to say sorry. at first, hyeonju thought that this was just a terrible scheme in trying to get her to sleep with him, but then she thought that maybe this can be a way in getting the job, by meeting his father again. so, that's what hyeonju did; she went to his parents' house for a delightful dinner. that was the moment when wooyoung realized that hyeonju wasn't so bad afterall. and hyeonju, too, saw wooyoung as the gentleman he's known to be. RELATIONSHIP 💥 because hyeonju is in a relationship, they only talk when it's most necessary. usually their conversations consists of hanging out to talk about her future in jangyeo plant service and engineering or just texting about simple questions like "how are you?" or "did you eat?". wooyoung tends to start the conversation first, and rarely does hyeonju do so, unless she has a serious question about her future with his company. but wooyoung has other things in mind that's not just her future in the company, but his future with her. yes, after endless amounts of texts and meetups, wooyoung fell for the tatted-girl he once demised. her personal charm and love for engineering left an imprint in his heart and now when he sees her name pop up in his phone or meets her in-person, wooyoung can't help the butterflies filling his stomach and his heart from beating. but he knows nothing about her current love life, heck, he doesn't even know she's been in a serious relationship with someone. 💥 no one knows that wooyoung has feelings for the younger girl nor does anyone know their true relationship. there's instances when wooyoung would invite hyeonju to parties and even eat out together, but hyeonju would tell others that it's "strictly business" whenever she's asked by her friends and members of the shared house. her boyfriend is completely oblivious of who wooyoung is, let alone what hyeonju's doing with him. there's been instances, even, when hyeonju would reschedule dates with jaerim due to wooyoung's request of meeting up to discuss matters regarding her job (by this time, a few months after formally meeting wooyoung, she landed a full-time job in his company, only working at the restaurant over the weekends). jaerim has gotten curious over what she's doing on a number of accounts, yes, but he always shakes those thoughts off and just accepts the fact that her new job is just as important as hyeonju is with jaerim. CONCLUSION 💥 there's a time when jaerim finds out who wooyoung is and what his relationship is with hyeonju, at this time wooyoung is only a "business partner" to hyeonju. and, of course, jaerim vows to wooyoung that he won't take her all to himself when they meet at the restaurant over the weekends as wooyoung had taken time off from his busy schedule to meet hyeonju at her weekend job. wooyoung, on the other hand, just rolled his eyes at hyeonju's current boyfriend, telling him that "until you put a ring on her, she's not legally yours". and that's when all hell breaks loose between the two. 💥 hyeonju and jaerim are still together, and she doesn't know anything about his feud with her boss, wooyoung. the two go out on a few more dates before going to a high-class restaurant where jaerim plans to propose to hyeonju, all because of her boss. — how this scene plays out with wooyoung ruining their date is up to you. the ending is up to you as well. :') |
