( + ) Taylor is athletic and very fit, although her age continues to become visible. Despite being an old-fashioned kind of girl, Taylor is quite the people pleaser. She tries her best to make sure everyone is having a grand time, even when the going gets tough. She's someone that others can go to for advise or help on a certain topic, even if it should be a personal topic, maybe even inappropriate. Being raised by her grandmother, she had been taught to give a smile to others and help whenever. She always had that sense of security and safety around others, which is something others admire her for. When in doubt, Taylor will be there to help. Taylor is a very go-to girl, although she's also a try-hard person. She hopes to try everything she sets her mind to, even if it may or may not be a death-defying stunt or what not. She also has the odd sense of humor that may not make sense, but seem quite hilarious to others (almost the sense of humor that's alike to Suho's). She may not be the perfect twenty-one year old, or adult to be precise, in the world, but she's a very important part of everyone's life. She can be bubbly and outgoing at times, but you surely don't want to see her bad side.

( - ) It's quite disgustingly outrageous knowing how attractively old-fashioned she can be. Others will say that Taylor is an old lady trapped inside of a twenty-one year old's body, and sometimes, Taylor has to agree with them. Her way of taking care of herself and how she runs her life is quite old-schooled. She can be quite the ecentric kind of person a bit quirky and usually says the most unusual things at the most irrelevant times possible, yet no one could hate her for that. Her choice of words, her modesty and honesty, it's what makes her unique. Sure, she can be hated for her brutal honest and straightforward replies, but that's what others find intriguing about herself. Nikki is also a try-hard kind of girl. She laughs and smiles way too much when one tells her a joke, even one that would be not as funny as others think. One could say she woke up on the wrong side of the bed? She admits she did, but she tries hard not to show it.

 

BACKGROUND Taylor grew up in a rather normal household of three. She was born in Los Angeles, California on the fourth day of September in the year 1992. Taylor was born into a middle-class income family, not too rich, though, but others thought she was from the large humble abode of hers as well as her clothing choices, yet nothing could stop their debts from rising. Taylor didn't know about debts or what it was at the young age of five, but she kept on spending and buying to her heart's content. She was a spoiled girl, but she didn't care.

She had a dream for herself, a dream to become a great pianist like Yiruma, until she had met a terrifying accident that left a huge scar in her life and dream. At the age of ten, Taylor had become vision-impaired, in other words, blind. She had met a fatal accident after being hit by an incoming car from when she was coming back from a recital that her piano teacher held for her students, including her. No one in her family had such money to pay for her to get her vision back, although it was a small chance that she would fully regain her eyesight, but they tried their best to. Her brother, Mark Tuan Yien (from GOT7), as well tried to gain more money to help her younger one by taking part time jobs, but it was no use. Her parents had finally given up as their debt grew, surpassing the thousands. They were broke. Taylor and Mark had soon been dropped off at their grandmother's house while their parents went elsewhere, to a place where they would less likely find them. A sad moment in Taylor's life, but that didn't stop her.

Taylor soon created a new dream at the age of fourteen. She wanted to become one with music, a singer and composer. Although she was still blind, she continued on with her new dream. Her brother, Mark, was her inspiration for this said dream. Mark had also wanted to become one with music, but he wanted to become a performer. Nikki looked up to him (not literally) in that sense, since, as of now, Mark was her role model. Two years had passed and Mark was soon accepted into an entertainment company: JYP Entertainment. Taylor was sixteen when Mark had left to learn more of him performing arts (rapping and dancing) dream, yet was able to raise money in two short years to help regain Nikki's eyesight. While in Seoul, Mark was able to find their parents while he was looking for an apartment to stay in while in Seoul. The three had caught up with everything, but their parents were heartbroken to hear that Taylor was still in America, but their upsetting expression soon faded when they heard her eyesight would soon be alright.

At the age of eighteen, Taylor had been able to see a brighter world, her eyesight regain as she became a brighter person than before. Taylor had a few close friends, one being her own brother, Mark. He may have been one of the only close friends to the old-fashioned youngster, yet he had to leave to pursue his career. That's when Taylor had realized that in life, everyone will leave and make a mark in your life. They may be horrid marks that would leave a deep wound in your heart, they may leave a joyful smile on your face, but everyone leaves. Everyone. You have no control over it, though. Life will guide you in a direction, leave marks, and create memories for you as well as those who left footprints in your heart.
