trainee friend / jeon jungkook / 19 (20 in korea) / idol and maknae @ bts / this little nugget, or so she calls him, and in return she gets called a small fry, wasn't the first to befriend sira. in fact, sira was the one to befriend jungkook as they both entered bighit around the same timeframe, mid-2011, so, of course being the friendly foreigner she is, sira automatically befriend the then-shy and awkward youngster. as trainees, they always hung out with each other and even would walk together to bighit after school, once jungkook was a first year and sira was a second year student in sopa, and they always ate dinner together with a few other trainees after practice. sometimes, even, the two would even dance together in the dance studio of big hit and tease each other when they had the chance (these still continue even to this day). once jungkook had debuted with bts, their conversations were shorter and more social media-based (kakao and text), but they try to hang out with each other whenever they could. fun fact: jungkook was the one to introduce sira to her, now-ex boyfriend, sangchun as he was the cousin of jungkook (gASP). when sangchun and sira told jungkook that they broke up, jungkook was like "wtf whY how could you dO THIS TO Me" and then later was like "i'm just glad you guys are still frieNDs, family reunions won't be awkward :))".
ex-boyfriend, friend / jeon sangchun / 21 (22 in korea) / liberal arts student @ yonsei university / sangchun was sira's first love, and it was both bittersweet and volatile, changing and evolving. they both met each other in sira's first year of high school when she applied for a parttime job at a local coffee shop, the same coffee shop his parents own and he works at. because of this, they slowly became friends and soon began to date, a few months after she began working there. sira recalls every little moment she and sangchun shared, every single date and ever single family meeting they had since they began their relationship. he was always so sweet and kind to her, bringing her small gifts every monthsary and would even sometimes make her coffee whenever the shop had a slow day. they were the ideal couple for three, almost four, years, however, they broke it off. no one knows the reason why, especially considering that they were voted to be the couple who would be "married at their next school reunion", but the reason is this: sangchun was going to be gone for uni while sira would be busy as well with school and her upcoming debut. simple as that. they're still friends until this day, and they continue to support one another through everything, continuing to bring out the best out of each other. they text, they video chat, and they sometimes even visit one another when they can.

trainee friend / jeon jungkook / 19 (20 in korea) / idol and maknae @ bts / this little nugget, or so she calls him, and in return she gets called a small fry, wasn't the first to befriend sira. in fact, sira was the one to befriend jungkook as they both entered bighit around the same timeframe, mid-2011, so, of course being the friendly foreigner she is, sira automatically befriend the then-shy and awkward youngster. as trainees, they always hung out with each other and even would walk together to bighit after school, once jungkook was a first year and sira was a second year student in sopa, and they always ate dinner together with a few other trainees after practice. sometimes, even, the two would even dance together in the dance studio of big hit and tease each other when they had the chance (these still continue even to this day). once jungkook had debuted with bts, their conversations were shorter and more social media-based (kakao and text), but they try to hang out with each other whenever they could. fun fact: jungkook was the one to introduce sira to her, now-ex boyfriend, sangchun as he was the cousin of jungkook (gASP). when sangchun and sira told jungkook that they broke up, jungkook was like "wtf whY how could you dO THIS TO Me" and then later was like "i'm just glad you guys are still frieNDs, family reunions won't be awkward :))".
ex-boyfriend, friend / jeon sangchun / 21 (22 in korea) / liberal arts student @ yonsei university / sangchun was sira's first love, and it was both bittersweet and volatile, changing and evolving. they both met each other in sira's first year of high school when she applied for a parttime job at a local coffee shop, the same coffee shop his parents own and he works at. because of this, they slowly became friends and soon began to date, a few months after she began working there. sira recalls every little moment she and sangchun shared, every single date and ever single family meeting they had since they began their relationship. he was always so sweet and kind to her, bringing her small gifts every monthsary and would even sometimes make her coffee whenever the shop had a slow day. they were the ideal couple for three, almost four, years, however, they broke it off. no one knows the reason why, especially considering that they were voted to be the couple who would be "married at their next school reunion", but the reason is this: sangchun was going to be gone for uni while sira would be busy as well with school and her upcoming debut. simple as that. they're still friends until this day, and they continue to support one another through everything, continuing to bring out the best out of each other. they text, they video chat, and they sometimes even visit one another when they can.

sira has always loved bighit ever since she entered an online audition for the company. how did she find the company? simple: she wanted to enter a small company rather than a large. sure, many foreign koreans would choose a larger company, especially considering that the larger companies have been accepting foreigners, but she found bighit through actually being a fan of 2am (at that time, 2am had been under bighit). luckily enough, she was accepted for her dancing (or singing if it's backup) as well as her foreign-korean looks. not many foreigners were accepted back then, however, she was the lucky one to be accepted.
when she began training, she was determined to do well, especially since she wanted to make a name for herself in performing arts. surprisingly, she did well, seeing that she was already good in dance and her voice was already fairly stable. however, because she had to wake up so early to go to school, she was always tired to travel to the company in order to train. although it wasn't a far travelling time, since incheon is fairly close to seoul, it was still difficult for her as she was still fairly young and was still in middle school. it was difficult for sira, waking up early, going to school, and travelling only to repeat it for weeks at a time. heck, she didn't even have time to finish her school work with only a few hours of sleep before repeating everything again until high school. when high school hit, she was able to ask to train only over the weekends to make her schedule easier for her. although that was difficult to ask for, she was able to request for a time change. many think that it's because her family was wealthy, so she was being favored by the ceo. so many of the trainees in the company called her out for being favored by the ceo and soon not being fond of her because of this. but sira didn't listen to those that hated her and only focused on her own life. the reason why she was working hard? to prove that she's not just wealthy, but is also talented as well. because she's well-off and on the prettier side, not many noticed her for her talents, even despite her dancing background (if main dancer). trainees soon realized that she's not just wealthy, but talented and hardworking. trainees began to like her for being herself rather than see her as just a wealthy and "spoiled brat".
Stage Name: serein / the french word referring to rain falling from a cloudless sky, a sort of rain that is said to take on the form of a fine, light drizzle, typically after dusk aka "serene" or "clear"; sira chose this stage name because she wants to clear everyone of the rain, referring to problems/pains/struggles/etc., and wants everyone to see her as a clear/serene person. her ceo approved of this stage name as it fits her personality the best.
