hyejin is known to be on the prettier side compared to her peers. cream-colored skin and dyed golden-brown hair, hyejin is the definition of beauty. she has large, almond-shaped eyes with fairly short eyelashes that only emphasize the shape of her eyes. the bridge of her nose droops only slightly, however, she has a small button nose. her lips are quite plump and natural, with a natural color of peach. on top of that, she has cheekbones that are most evident when she smiles, even if it's a small one. her body is slender, athletic, and firm in all the right places. she meets most, if not all, the conventional beauty standards of being beautiful and fairly tall, despite her age.

hyejin is the only child to a father and a now deceased mother. the cause of her mother's death? a car accident when she was driving home from work. hyejin was devistated to hear that, considering that she was only ten at the time of her death. but, of course, she can't bring her mother back. if she could, she would do so in a heartbeat. but, alas, magic like that only happens in dreams and imagination.
as hyejin was growing up with only her father by her side, she had grown to love music and eventually fell in love with singing. singing was a way in getting her mind off of everything, considering that she was still hung up on her mother's death (at this time, she was thirteen). and ever since that day she started singing, she never stopped.
her father was pretty saddened over the fact that hyejin wanted to become a singer, though. why? because he thought that it wasn't something that was worth it. but what else can he do but let hyejin have it her way? in the end, her father just supported her decision and allowed her to pursue a career in singing.
now eighteen and hyejin had gotten a job at a coffee shop, working as a singer. that simple job was one of her most favorite moments during her high school career, besides getting her license of course. although she didn't particularly like her flirting boss, she enjoyed her job for the sake of singing (and coffee too, but that's besides the point). as for her father, he still continued to support her while he worked long hours as a mechanic.
months following her new job, she was accepted into snu's art program for vocal performance and composition and is now staying in a dorm located on the campus. but now that she's going to complete her years (currently in her final year), hyejin starts to wonder as to where she'll end up next.
